There's a lot of content potential with Arifureta from Cut Content and explanation videos. Yue probably deserves an explanation video since the anime doesn't do well for her character or abilities. Tio as well but there's not much yet to be covered in the anime.

So Hajime's creatively is his most powerful ability, considering he created God tier Weapons. But I gotta say in the Anime so far his Cross Bits are the coolest. Since they can attack, defend, & self-destruct!

As a fictional weapons nerd, I am practically salivating at the details in these things. A nice touch that I appreciate is that they're designed specifically for the one who made them. In anyone else's hands, they'd be subpar at best by comparison. At worst, they'd just be hunks of metal.

0:20 the reason he doesn't outright use the ancient magic is because he can't, he has no aptitude for anything but Creation
Hajime's arsenal truly is the peak of "ROMANCE!!!", especially when you see it from the style of the manga.
Anyway, from what I remember, the reason Hajime doesn't use the Ancient(?) magic he won from the labyrinths out right is because he only has low-moderate affinity to most if not all of them, so he just imbues the magic into his weapons. Yue has high affinity to almost all of them which is why you see her pulling out all of these crazy magic. Shia has low affinity which is why she still only uses physical attacks with the ancient magic just there to somewhat help her (from what I remember, the most she could do with gravity magic is manipulate the effects of gravity on her......which helps when she's jumping or landing).
They are really interesting and seem well thought out. Every weapon has its own twist. If I would pick my favourite it would be Donner. I like its simplicity, but still it is so effective. Second ones are cross bits. They are really interesting and yet so versatile. It is a shame, that anime skips so many explanation on his creations. I think it would be even more popular and not for only power fantasy.
You have seen the best of the Nagumo Hajime yet. The best weapon he ever created was his wits, not sure if I should spoil this for you but...

donner is also enchanted with gail claw so it also has a bayonet/knife on it when needed.
Hajime is so similar to Tony Stark in the aspect that he learns from his mistakes and adds on to his arsenal so it never happens again.

Hajime is one of the few mc's that solve most of their problems with a gun well with guns drones and basically a tank.
To put into perspective how strong Hajime's body is, in the LN when he was protecting Ur from the horde of monsters he dual wielded 2 Metzeleis all without as much as flinching from the recoil. He truly is built different
The crosses are basically Funnels-Hajime even makes a legit I-field in the anime.
I think they technically aren't bits because bits have internal reactors and funnels don't, and I presume Hajime is supplying all the mana for these.
he kinda did call them "f〇nnels” in the afterstory so it's canon
I mean technically, Hajime IS relying on Ancient Magic. He has bad affinity for all of them except for Creation Magic, and with Creation Magic he can grant magical properties to objects, so using Creation Magic, Hajime imbues other Ancient Magic into the weapons, vehicles, and equipment he makes (i.e. Shia's hammer, Doryuuken/Drucken, was upgraded with Gravity Magic after they cleared the Great Reisen Labyrinth for it to unleash heavier blows, but if I remember correctly it wasn't Gravity Magic but "Shock Conversion" from Ahatod/Ahatd, the humanoid horse monster owned by the demonkin woman Cattleya). The arsenal Hajime currently has is a result of the Ancient Magic he's acquired.
Either way, I'm loving the detail you go into making these Arifureta vids. Even in the cliche isekai, harem, and overpowered MC tropes, this series always felt more fresh than the others in its genre. I started with the manga and went on to the novel, so seeing how the anime got absolutely butchered in the first season made me feel bad for the anime-only viewers who are genuinely interested in this series.
Yes exactly the story is realy good the animation less so I have read more than 400 ch's so I am clearly liking it...

Yeah he is, but the fact he is so creative with the tools that he has and the brain power he puts into making it is special. It's kinda refreshing. His intelligence makes me like his character the most, he isn't some idiot like Kouki happily said. He knows his limitations and he works around those but still is very much strong in his own right

Man knowing all the weapons he makes and the upgrades he makes for the weapons he already has it makes me so made that the anime will probably never get that far/will take a long time to get there
He basically struggled making those precision weapons and bullets just like people back in the day making rifles.
Something I think you left out about a lot of his creations karma is he is a fan of American culture and that is where he got the idea for a good chunk of his weapons. The other half of his ideas come from his otahu background. Something Shizuku and Kaori Both use to manipulate his actions somewhat. His chuni habbits embarrass him.
I think he is more of a German fan. Most of his weapons name is in German

Another important thing about Brise is that because it's controlled Via Mana Manipulation, he can control it from anywhere on the vehicle, the driver's seat is basically a nice decoration. The Cross bits also get a pretty big upgrade later on after he enchants them with spatial magic, making them even better for defense.
*Spoilers for several things ahead, you have been warned*
I Still feel like after the final labyrinth he becomes significantly more powerful than basically any isekai protagonist you can name. Even Touya who becomes a God and Rimuru who becomes able to basically manipulate the world on a very large scale. No matter who they are, they're erased once Hajime's red chains touch them. Even gods aren't safe from it since the chains are what he uses to kill Ehit.
Edit: After re-reading the ln Hajime doesn't use the chains against Ehit, he uses a knife/dagger with a god-killing concept magic imbued into it. However, He mentioned that if the knife didn't work he could've just uses the red Chains again. Meaning he CAN use them whenever he wants, and that it's not just a 1-time thing.

I love the way you pronounce the german names for his weapons. You pronounciation is really good. As a German I can approve that.
I like the idea of these types of isekai stories we're the protagonist starts with nothing except for the most important things of all their mind their body and their worldview which is unique in the world they're going to because they're upbringing was entirely different from literally anyone else in the entire world that they get transferred to and because they think in modern ways and have at least some modern knowledge they can do things that almost no one else in that world can do and it's not like the people of that world couldn't do what the protagonists could do physically it's just that they just didn't have the knowledge or the perspective to use those resources in that entirely unique way I really like that idea for a story but I haven't seen personally a story like that who knows maybe I'll watch this anime or read it's manga sometime in the future.

I decided to pick up the light novels because of your cut content series and I have to say I’m loving them. Still gonna watch your cut content videos though, because honestly they’re pretty great
I really like hajimes character and his creations. Regardless of how strong he is, in the end he can still be killed. So instead of going for a glass cannon he opted to go for a mobile fortress. He has so manh defensive options in where it is nigh impossible to even scratch him let alone kill him. And all of his weapons arent "its like the last one. But better" its more of a "this is for usual use, this for armies, this for strong single target" as each has their own twists.
Oooh boy you are gonna like the 3rd isekai world they got sent to in the afterstory.
That world almost has no mana so they cant regenerate mana properly. Hajime was so heavily nerfed but he still managed to win by outsmarting the enemy (he has limited mana and ammunitions)
Hajime in afterstory: Sooo... yeah... I just created a world of my own.

And it was just the beginning of the creation of his epic ARSENAL of Weapons as well as other amazing Equipment 😈😎
Would've been even better if he had a cool sword to go with his like the red queen from the devil may cry series, if his guns were gunblades like brunhild from in another world with my smartphone or the gunblades used by emiya alter in the typemoon franchise. But needless to say, you're right about Donner and Schlag being the best weapons.😌

With everything you're explain about Hajime's weapons, & vehicles The Anime is still leaving a ton of details out.
The cross bits come from Gundam which is amazing. By far favorite thing he has done.
Season 2 is looking really promising with that teaser at the beginning. Arifureta isn't a masterpiece or a genius written work but it definitely stands out in the hoard of trash isekais. Imo Hajime is one of the most unique protagonists, although I can't really say the same for any of the side characters.
To be fair they start out as one note and gain complexity like most other characters in other shows. They just don't show it as much, like how shea went from a weak annoying fan service rabbit to a badass finally having achieved the title she wanted. She's also the happiest and one of the voices of empathy that keeps things from being gloomy all the time
Since I'm a LN reader, I'm a big fan of Arifureta, so thanks for all your coverage. I just wish you had also covered Drucken. I know it's now Shea's main weapon, but Hajime is the one who made it and gave it to all its features. Infact, now that I think of it, you could probably fill another video of the the various weapons that he has created and given away to others or the weapons of others that he has enhanced. Of course, most of those go beyond the current two seasons, so maybe for season 3.(hopefully)
BTW, I did check to make sure that you hadn't covered it in the Shea video before asking for it here.

I'm so glad that you're doing more videos on this anime. I loved the first couple that you did a while back. I don't tend to get into light novels that much, but your videos on this anime made me curious about the story so I went and read it.
I do enjoy the anime, but it's great knowing all of the stuff they left out.
Read up to volume 8-10 of the Light novel and all the weapons Sam just mentioned get a massive upgrade due to one of the ancient magic Hajime got from clearing one of the labyrinths.
Also Volume 10 gives us more insight on what they actually do and are meant for. The anime watchers and manga readers only know the general use for them.
He is a living walking ultimate war machine.

You need to remember that his guns are shooting tiny bits of metal with the force of chemical and magnetic acceleration. His guns are probably the most destructive thing in that world.

Fun fact that Hajime Negumo and Oscar Orcus have this kind of similar style of using their mostly their created artifacts to fight and having almost not having affinities in most magic. Of course, if you excludes his skills came from the mosters except the Mana manipulation, they probably mostly the same character. In addition from Arifureta Zero, Milidy Riesen stated herself that they are quite similar on the opening and it was also stated that the Orcus Great Labyrint is the last Labyrint that must be conquered.
So what you’re saying is…Hajime did the equivalent of glitching to the final boss fight, winning, then starting the main story?

Love these videos a small note on Hajime's prosthetic arm is that he can heat it up in the anime when Yue and Shea are taking a break from Miledi labyrinth in Reisen Gorge they both hold Hajime's arm and Shea gets stuck with his cold arm which he can heat up and he plays with her bunny ears while she slept not shown but mention in the anime. Also the Crossbits or mechanical birds are limited by his own brain's processing power he can't have an infinite amount because he can't control them. I think he makes a comment to Aiko in the anime S1 but he can't it goes into the derivative skills he is using in the LN to control them.
I love how later he made a sister gun to Metzelei just for more daka. Min of 24000RPM of 30mm basically the A-10 on space steroids

Cross bits based on what’s mentioned in the show seems more based on Funnels or Fangs in 00 from the Gundam franchise, rather than the CoD drones.

I think it needs to be pointed out that he found the arm (Oscar Orcrus created it and left it in his workshop at the bottom of the Abyss) but he did enhance it over time.
Crossbits are my favorite weapons so far.
Weird that most of the tools are based off of well known weapons from the US, yet they end up with epic German names. I wish I could afford my own barret 50 Cal anti-material rifle.

One thing is Hajime can go wild is the existence of mana itself and since Hajime has direct mana manipulation skill, an impossible skill for human, a rare and even certain races can only use, such as true vampire (ex Yue), Dragonkin (Tio), some extremely rare inborn individual (Shea).
Edit: My assumption regarding why Hajime rather uses weaponry rather than raw magic is, his magic pool isn't enough to utilize all of those godlike magic, or he rather persevere his mana in case he encounter stronger enemies. We can also assume that his magic is too powerful in human eyes so it's just so he can be less stand out / "explosive".

I still remember a gag comment in the LN where Hajime claims that Brise can, in an emergency, transform into a golem and fight hand-to-hand, and the girls all accept it at face value.
Then Hajime goes “just kidding!” But, some of the girls just say it’s only a matter of time before he actually does it.

Assuming the Spirit stone that creates the Holy Water that heals any injury doesn't run out of power or weaken if you move it, you have to wonder why Hajime didn't take some or all of it with him?🤷🏿♂️
It did start to run out as he and Yue finished the first labyrinth. It doesn't really cover it in the show but it does get hinted at a couple of times when he gives a dose of it to Aiko, Shea and later Meld. Shea calls it rare because he only has the few doses in vials in his treasure trove. After it stopped producing the liquid he took the stone and realized it had a large capacity for magic so he turned it into smaller crystals for accessories. Yue is wearing several pieces of it on her jewelry which I think you can see in the show at the very least.
The stone eventually runs out of water. He has 12 vials left after he leaves Orcus, iirc.
He split the spirit stone into mediums to channel mana to control his eye and his golems. He also made accessories from them that act as mana amplifiers/storage
Hajime rely on weapon despite the OP skill sets he got, probably because technically he's still just a synergist, by default he can't do magic attack by himself because he technically are not attack class per se. He just being creative on how use it via medium which is his weapons

Both the 1st and 2nd season remind me how weak he was compared to the after stories version of him I also love how he still keeps getting stronger one way or another after the main story ends
