Everytime i watch his videos like this i find myself waiting for that line even though i usually already know what the actuall content i going to be said. Love his videos. He does an excellent job which is reflective by his followers.

If I remember right, Hajime only gained skills from monsters at a high level compared to himself. He was already so much stronger than the demon girl that he wouldn't have gained anything from her.
Spoiler of his Skills in the novels well, in the anime it's not that powerful yet, but at the end of the novels along with Yue, they have one of the most broken abilities for me in an isekai, which is conceptual magic, which allows them to create any magic with a concept, to Give an example, Hajime has conceptual magic, denial of nothingness, which manifests as chains, and anything that touches them is turned into nothing, not even immortality is saved, another is the ability to travel between dimensions
At thé end of thé first dungeon for couki to be eacual to hajimes BASE stats he needs to activate limite break and than hajime has still has limite break and supreme break to up his stats
Hajime is OP, but definitely not as strong as Rimuru. In a straight up fight even at his current peak power Hajime stands no chance against Rimuru, all due to how ridicuous the power scaling is in Rimuru's world. However, unlike most protagonists Hajime doesn't just stop growing in power once the main story ends. The main story of Arifureta is followed by more than a dozen smaller stories that focus on less important characters finding their way into different worlds. As a result, Hajime has to traven to those worlds as well, which allows him to integrate elements of those world's power systems into his magitech weapons and golems. So technically, if given enough time, Hajime definitely could catch up to Rimuru. It would just take a VERY long time. Alternatively, if Hajime were to find a way into Rimuru's world, chances are that he would grow much stronger REALLY fast both due to his own efforts into reaserching that world and what it has to offer, as well as gaining access to it's Hero/Maou evolution system (and he technically qualifies for both, althout you cant BE both, so he would have to choose). Would that power alone be enough to at least put up a fight against Rimuru eventually? Maybe. And that is only if Rimuru's growth stagnates.
LN(eos) Hajime should compare to Demon Lord Rimuru & anime Hajime is comparable to Rimuru before he turned into demon lord I think. Hajime would lose both times tho But if Hajime had eaten the Demon, even Kaori would've probably been done with him. Hajime resists most common debuffs but he still doesn't have rot resistance for example

I mean in LN when Hajime starts to kill off gods without much problem he is probably stronger then Rimuru was when he first became a demon lord.
