Koukis stats reached 800s only by the end of anime season/4th LN. Kouki started with roughly what Hajime wvolved into. Hajime with gun is stronger than most of his classmates and after eating Twerkmaster rabbit, none of them stand a chance against him alone.
What I like about Hajime becoming OP is that technically any of his classmates could become as OP as him (maybe even slightly more thanks to their increased inherited stats, though it might end up negligent later). All they had to do was consume the poisonous monster meat that would kill them, drink the ambrosia to heal them back, and repeat the extremely agonizing painful cycle and hopefully survive with whatever willpower they have to live on.

Technically any story that has fighting, it's always an arms race with weapons. Even if there's no guns in the story. Better armor, better swords, or even better shields in some cases. There was even a weaponsmith manga that ended not longer ago. Where the mc, would make various powerful weapons.
24:39 AniNews is one of my absolute favorite anime channels. Him and Unseen Whispers give so much cut content and "after the anime" content, respectively. Great choice reacting to his magnificence.
18:00 Hajime, being a Synergist, and learning to make artifacts from Oscar Orcus's workshop, is beyond OP. Sure, he is wildly powerful, unable to be defeated by an mortal one-on-one, but when he's able to make armour, weapons, and trinkets for his allies, which give them access to the power he has earned, like Shea's boots, the entire game changes.
Well the Second season of anime ends in volume 6 theres still 7 more volume till the ending😉
Hells yeah!!! I'm so glad it got as many volume as it did, and AfterStory. Arifureta makes me feel spoiled, while my other favorite series are just slowly releasing a volume every so often.
20:00 Most animes these days, I end up skipping through obviously long fight scenes, because I don't care about the battle, just thenplot progression that stems from it. However, I still enjoy every moment of the fights in Arifureta. Couldn't tell you why, besides that perhaps it is because of my overwhelming love for the series and everything about it. I stopped joking to myself about the CGI bullshite years ago now.
Yue's Five Heaven Dragons(or whatever it is called) was her own power. I think it was part of her growth from getting Age of Gods magic later than the Orcus Labyrinth. I could be wrong, but I think it has nothing to do with the bitch hydra.
You mean the Hydra that becomes friends with Myu much later on in one of the side stories?
