  • Hey GlamFam! todays video is pretty simple, but also fast paced, so if you need me to do some more detailed " How to stop hair breakage " videos that are broken down by certain issues, just let me know. Be sure to follow me on IG: @GetGlamFam
**Here are the 2 videos on split ends I told you about:
    *The truth about split ends:
    • The TRUTH about split ...
*How to tell if you have split ends for natural hair: • How to tell if you hav...
In this video I tried to include tips that work for naturally straight hair, wavy hair, relaxed hair, natural hair, women's hair, and men's hair, so hopefully this should cover all the bases.
That being said, I probably still need to do a "how to stop hair breakage on relaxed hair" video and a "How to stop hair breakage on natural hair" video, because there are a couple more unique tips for each of those that I have.
I would do a how to stop hair breakage for men, but honestly, that would just be for searchability, as the same tips and techniques work for men as for women.
Hopefully you will find this video helpful and it will help you retain length, and have long, healthy, strong hair! Take care GlamFam, and stay Glam!

    Tips:
    1. Make sure hair stays well moisturised
    2. Avoid heat on hair
    3. Trim hair only as needed
    4. Don't put heat on dirty hair
    5. Don't overlap on chemicals (eg relaxer & bleaching)
    6. Alternate the positions you wear your ponytail
    7. Don't use ponytail holder with metal clasp
    8. Don't use manilla rubber bands
    9. Sleep on satin or silk (satin bonnet, pillowcase, sheets)
    10. Treat hair with TLC (comb gently working from ends to root)
I'm guilty of wearing those rubber bands....Can't wait to hear the other tips!

Thanks. I'm guilty of not wearing satin scarves and bonnets to bed, but I got a satin lined beanie that works better for me and some satin pillowcases. I also need to be better about detangling my hair. I'm not through enough and I get a lot of knots.

using satin or silk ponytail holder is a way better option AND AND AND put conditioner on the hair before you take down any styles down so you get to detangle and condition at the same time. THAT saves a lot of time :)

My number one solution for breakage has been protecting my ends. My hair was breaking at shoulder length for the longest time and through low manipulation styles and styles that keep my ends tucked away, I’ve been able to see growth, past shoulder length.

I keep using a golden brown box color by clairrol or Revlon that keeps turning my grey hair orangey gold. I want a warmer cast at the scalp . Like a demensional Caramel. , Brown or Chocolate at the roots because my hair is thin and fine.
I used a clairol demensional creme but it did not take well.

BUT I think I'm getting closer to figuring it out. Ph balancing my products & alternating between a protein free, moisturizing DC & light protein DC biweekly has helped. I almost have my 4b/4c hair mastered! I'm so excited lol.💃💃💃💃😆

Hi, I’m new to your channel, I’ve seen dramatic changes to my hair moisture using your tips, I’ve been natural for 5 years and all the natural hair bloggers I follow never talked about the cool rinse, Or how important it is, I must say that tip really help my hair moisture balance I just want to say THANK YOU!!!
