      I remember it was a Sunday when my brother and niece came over and told me I was about to take my mother home as she had spent the weekend with me. When my brother said that Marvin Gaye had been shot and killed I cried like a baby. Marvin gaye is my very favorite male singer
      Every since high school and before. I was lucky enough to see him 2 times in concert. I had a front row seat each time. He is really missed. But i have all of his records hitch hike and all of them.

    As teens we used Gramacy to travel to Hollywood because we were less likely to be harassed or get a ticket .we also sometimes used Normandie bc both were quicker than the 10 Fwy.
    Marvin Gaye was a regular resident, the area was littered with luminaries. I won't name any however, I know many...times was nice back then in the 70's-90's

    I truly feel that Marvin Gaye's father was jealous of this boy he mentally abused him he physically abused them his father had psychological problems and he tormented Marvin all his childhood again abusing his mother it's a whole lot of things but I pray God in heaven and I know there is a God in heaven that Marvin Gaye father pays for all that he has done to this young man to bring him to this point of his life killing him he killed them as a youth and now I'm killed them as a man may he be charged before the Lord thy God

    • @Ebd1990
      @Ebd1990 Год назад

      Did the 70 something year old man deserved to be pushed on violently. Would you want your elderly parent to be abused? Is it ok because he was a entertainer and celebrity to do that to his elderly father and Marvin was 41 at the time( his birthday he would have been 42 ) which Marvin birthday was the next day, but his father was in his 70’s. Do we know if Marvin ever did this to his dad before? So I ask these questions because people sometimes forget it’s two sides to every story. Plus Marvin was strung out really bad, and could have been abusive. I heard dadddy was abusive to Marvin as a child, so as a grown man maybe Marvin decided to get Daddy back, it just went the wrong way. We all were not there. So we can only speculate. I know that I’m in my late 50’s and have some minor issues with some pain, now imagine being in your 70’s and a 40 something year old big strong man pushes you violently several times in a frail body. Or imagine it’s your elderly mom, dad, or grand parents, would you want them to be pushed like that? I wouldn’t. They said Marvin was acting very paranoid and being disrespectful when he came back off his last tour before his death. Imagine being afraid of him because you are elderly. Marvin should have stayed out of his parents argument and definitely should have never put his hand on an elderly man. I love Marvin and his music like anybody else. But his dad was scared and did what most old school parents told you back in the day “if you ever put your hands on me, I bought you in this world and I will take you out”. Marvin RIP

    Marvin jr. was the cause of his own death. He of all people knew his dad, heck, lived it. Jr was a grown famous 🌟, he had no business hitting rock bottom turning back into his childhood, his dad didn't like him back then what made him think he liked him b4 he murdered him? What did the Bible says about a disobience child? Jr was that. Would of, could of, should of, been anywhere besides in his parents business. We love you Jr. but God loves you more. Keep R.i.p. Amen.

      I do believe that he Marvin Gaye brought that house for his Mother, his no account crazy azz dad was very, very Jealous of his own Son and how you know he hit rock bottom??? He had a#1 hit at the time of his Murder, Marvin and his Mom had a Wonderful Relationship, and the old man was probably Jealous of it too because he always tried to protect her from him but back then ppl stayed in marriages if it was good or bad, but I don't think she ever thought that he'd Murder his own Son, so I guess it's safe to say that you'll allow your Dad to beat your Mom glad I don't know you because you sound like a deadbeat daughter or scary, how dare you say Love, this that BS POST trying to dress it up.
