Christy Jackson No judge zone here because sometimes people can speak very different than the way they sing. My friend used to say every time she heard ”Distant Lover” it reminded her of me because I was listening to it before the DJ's on the radio was playing it. I used to do that a lot. ”What’s on the flip side”.?😀

Such a troubled soul who could translate all through song to touch the spirit and the soul. I've always said that R. Kelly's troubles and gifts were very similar to Marvin's. In no way condoning their inappropriate behaviors, YOU JUST CAN'T IGNORE THE GIFT. Continue to Rest in Paradise, Prince of Soul❤️❤️❤️❤️

He had the whole package what they call” it” but there was so
    much more highly intelligent self
    educated could sing song writer
he seemed not to know how many
Gifts he had and I believe his complicated family made him question him self he was modest and the drugs were a away to forget his past but it became a problem his bouts of depression had a great affect and finally he was recognized for Sexual Healing and not for his What’s going on and Mercy Me you have to listen to the lyrics and then you see this
    magnificent talent had so much
more to him . As for women he picked the wrong ones . If he had the right one drugs weren’t needed
because he had a woman who appreciate who and what he was
a good father and for Jan Hunter
it’s easy to make it salacious when in fact she didn’t have to do
drugs but I don’t think she really loved him but she loved the star
quality and not the man .

    • @SimplyBeingTT

I believe Anna really loved him. Even his mother said that. I think the fame, age difference, family trauma (his father), and his undiagnosed bipolar disorder took a toll. If you watched the second part of this, you will hear him state that his doctor advised him to see a psychiatrist. Not knowing how to deal with all of that would be taxing on any relationship. Up to the end though, they never stopped loving each other.
Jan, on the other hand, was way too young and in over her head.

Yes,very nice because that's how we lived in those times. People minded their own business!. There weren't cameras following you half as much as today. People today love to believe lies opposed to truth because they listen to spewed gossip before the facts are known. In today's world, MG would be called names for his relationship with Anna as well as Janis. Sad world today! Celebrity or not, your privacy was yours alone as it should be. I miss those times alot :_(

MARVIN GAYE IS MY SPIRITUAL GUIDE. I COULDNT EVEN SPEAK HIS NAME WHEN I LEARNED HIS FATHER SHOT AND KILLED HIM. I ALWAYS FELT HIS PAIN. TO LOOK IN HIS EYES. THE PAIN WAS ALWAYS THERE. IT HURTS WHEN YOU WANT YOUR PARENT”S LOVE AND ITS WITHHELD FROM YOU. HE WAS ATTRACTED TO JANIS BECAUSE HE WAS THE SAME AGE WHEN HE LOST HIS INNOCENCE. SHE WAS MORE WORLDLY THAN HE AND INTRODUCED HIM TO FREE BASE. HE WAS A WEED MAN. SEE JANIS’S BOOK. THAT FORM OF COCAINE CAUSES ONE TO LOSE THEIR SOUL. IT WAS A SHAME. HE BECAME SOMEONE ELSE. I UNDERSTAND WHERE HE WAS COMING FROM. LISTEN TO THE SONG ANGER. EVERYBODY SHOULD HEAR HIS MESSAGE. GOD IS LOVE IS ANOTHER SINCERE SONG THAT SHOWS THE REAL MARVIN JR. MY FAVORITE AND FIRST INTRODUCTION TO MARVIN GAYE WAS FOREVER. I WAS ONLY 9 YEARS OLD. HE TOUCHED MY HEART AND SOUL. I MISS AND LOVE MARVIN GAYE VERY MUCH. BUT HES STILL WITH ME. HES STILL AMONG US AND ALWAYS WILL BE MY SPIRITUAL GUIDE
