It's been a while since I've seen a video from you, I hope you and your family are doing well. Whenever I see a heavy rescue vehicle I always think about you and your guys up there. Take care and be safe.
Hey Jamie, love watching reruns of "Highway to Hell" you and your crew are fantastic! Ànd thanks for the tour of your newest tow baby. Much continued success and blessings to you and family from the USA! ,👍🇺🇸,🇨🇦
It didn't buy it it was given to it..remember it loves the old shit and likes to make its guys look as dumb as it is on a job Not sure what to call people in 2022 so I call everyone it
It's great to hear what you have been up to, hopefully one day you'll be able to put out some more content here on youtube for your fans to enjoy 👍🏼 ... Nice truck and keep on doing what you are doing.
Congratulations on the new truck looks awesome. Been out of the flatbed for 2 months due to medical issue getting better can’t wait to get back in the truck again
Good to see you again on your channel! Great new truck! Keep on hookin (tow truck joke)! Sorry to hear about supply issues, affects your business and ability to service. I'm always nervous to have work done on my semi at work; it's a toss-up especially on older equipment to try and get parts.
Good to see you're still going. I remember doing a job with you about 20 years ago lifting a truck and a lowbed out of the Fraser River on the number nine highway bridge.
O-H-I-O Porter greetings.🇺🇸 I like the old school look of the paint & graphics on that Freightliner. 😎 Stickers would not last long at all I would imagine on your trucks due to the cold weather of the winters. I usually lean more towards having things painted. Having a little more room behind the driver is always a good idea! Sleepers are great, but extra seating & sleeping access is good no matter what. It’s good that you’re thinking about things like that & a little ahead in some areas. So you’re really getting rid of some of your old trucks, or some of the wrecker bodies anyway? I know you like the old trucks. I’m still looking at my old 1951 REO F22RT wrecker: it has an old army boom & is operated from inside the cab, has the hand crank wench on top as well. Now that’s OLD SCHOOL, but it’s been that way ever since I was a kid. I’ve hauled many trucks, trailers, cars & buses with that old Slow N Go beast. My dad bought it new as a tractor & it actually pulled a tanker for a while. That was my 1st truck to drive back when I was 6 years old. 🥰 Glad that things are still working out for you & your crew. Blessings my friend! 🥰🤩✌️
According to Jamie and from Jr.'s video the other day you have a long list of things that need to be fixed, replaced, bought, or sold. Here is how things stand Coastline 50 and Bruce's Truck are down they need to be restored and returned to service, Python and 47 are down which is why 134 was bought they need to be restored so you have enough light duty trucks if you have to do a off-road recovery, Rotator is in the shop, 130 is on the road, and 46 is on the road they need to be brought back so you have enough trucks, 85 has been sold, General has been sold, Mighty Mo is down, and Mack and 124 got wrecked and toasted the only way to get out of this mess is restore the original trucks and replaced those that were damaged, sold, or destroyed. Those that are just old chassis they need to be taken to Miller and new bodies need to be mounted or a DTU needs to be added that way they can be restored to service. All is not bad for JDMT four of the older trucks are still in service and we see them on the show or on 401. Peninsula Towing has 126 and 52 they are still on the show, Reliable has 117 they are still on the show, and Jamie got most of his old iron back when he bought Columba Towing in Golden. Right now the plan is to get some heavy wreckers up to Golden, Refurbish the fleet in Hope, and get the projects out the door. Right now the plan is restore HR 50 and Coastline 50 get both trucks back on the road, get 47 and Python in the shop get those trucks finished, send 007 to Miller and mount the wrecker body, restore Old Yeller to service, and convert that wrecker Jamie bought in Ely into a tandem and mount a body on it. Right now it is top priority to get HR 50 and Coastline 50 out of the shop those trucks are done you also need to get 52 out of the shop and on the road so Jr. can get his wrecker in there to be remounted. That's a long list it is time to get busy.
Mr. Davis, I admire you for your diligence, ability to solve problems, dedication, fighting for survival and at the same time passion in what you do ... Despite your years, you do not take the easy way out, do not look for shortcuts ...
Followed your channel for a while on TV, saw you had a YT Channel, and wanted to say congratulations on the new truck, the M2s are popular here in the states, it will treat you well!
Brilliant looking truck can't wait to see the other new ones that your getting stay safe move over slow down for emergency servcie and recovery operators we have family's too
If you run that in the winter you might wanna swap out those rear tires for open shoulder tread. That will make a very handy tow rig especially with the Allison.
You would think that with all of the medium duty cabs that Freightliner sells, they would make a dedicated conventional cab with a flat floor. But no, instead they continue to cheap out and use the same cab for both conventional and cab overs. That hump that runs across the entire width of the cab under the seats is there to provide clearance for the front axle when the cab is used on Cabover applications. None of the other manufacturers do this. That and the cheap switchgear on the dash is why I hate freightliners
Also a Freightliner hater. I worked for a tree service "chipper box" upfitter. Sooooo many new trucks wouldn't start getting dropped off from transport or to drive in/out of the fit bays...
Jamie, your show just aired on my cable network from October of 2022. I feel bad for all of you that suffered from the flooding. I find it odd and disturbing that the United States has not had any news broadcasts that I'm aware of who have covered the natural disaster of rain and flooding. The news outlets cover less severe issues here and with continents that do not connect to the USA. I have been following all of your shows from the start and I just don't understand why our country would not inform us of your hard times. Either way, I wish you and the family your best, you are an inspiration.
a tip for the future on the rear reflective - drunks tend to be deflected away better if the rear striping goes downhill to the outside instead of to the inside.
Its still hard to believe we are still so backlogged on parts. I do feel for you. I still believe that local machine shops might barter for work if economy gets too bad. I do love your simple but elegant paint design. Also reduces cost.
Congrats great truck and combo on rear. Here in South Africa white reflectors not allowed at rear only red and yellow. 🤔. That might end up being 1 of the most profitable units u gonna have. What size of winches u fitting
Thanks Jamie for sharing nice looking truck hopefully you and your family are well I'm from Illinois ernies wrecker towing thats wally hermons uncle from wildwood service gages lake IL just wanted to know if you know wally
Those freightliners drive out nice. Is there a particular reason for going automatic instead of manual? I would've thought a manual would be better suited to the hills there. I know how it is with waiting on new trucks, my company has been waiting on new roll off trucks all year, we got one finally months after it's completion date, and we're still waiting on the second
It's been a while since I've seen a video from you, I hope you and your family are doing well. Whenever I see a heavy rescue vehicle I always think about you and your guys up there. Take care and be safe.
Would be good to see a yard and shop show of all your wreckers
