Early 1900s Copper Mine and Mill In Nevada - Deep Shaft - Antique Lantern - Colorful Minerals

This rich copper bearing mineral vein is spectacular to see. The deep shaft here follows the vein down vertically a long way. During the years 1915 and 1916, the mine and mill were actively mining and processing copper ore, and in 1943, tungsten was mined here for the war effort. We descend down the shaft looking for drift levels and find a couple of interesting artifacts. We also explored the mill ruins and found several large pieces of equipment that were used there.
