Don't do this. This such an iron thing to do. Trust me and stick with just one crosshair for at least a month and change it up and stick to that for a month. Soon you'll know what kind of crosshair to have. Big or small, dot or no dot, outline or no outline, whatever it is.
@XGh0styX there’s always gonna be exceptions to everything, but that doesn’t mean the general rule is never gonna work. Changing your crosshair is a good thing but you gotta settle for a month at least in order to get the feel for it. If you’re diamond that means you have more experience than an ironboy. When u change ur crosshair its okay because u know more, but if you’re an ironboy then you’re not gonna be able to understand that the crosshair is just for your mind’s reference and not your aim.
Remember that the crosshair will look very different depending on your screens resolution, if you play in 4k your crosshair will look much smaller than someone playing in 1080p and vice versa so you shouldn't just copy a pros crosshair if you dont know their screens resolution.
I played with 1422 for a while but I went to someone I used in CS back in the day which is 1420 no outline so basically a small cross. Usually you can say the bigger the crosshair the better it is for controlling sprays while a smaller crosshair is better for flicking to heads. Honestly, 1422 is a universally good crosshair and if you don't have your own gimmicky one I would go with that one any day
Same.. I love that crosshair. Honestly think its better than the dot. Tracking and head tapping is a lot easier with this crosshair. I don't even know how i got it. Was just messing around with the settings one day in the range and i landed on the cross. Ever Since i never changed it.
I highly recommend anything between (1, 2, 4, 4) and (1, 2, 7, 7) for the top section of your crosshair settings as it turns the cross into a squared circle with the same dimensions. I find this fills in the enemy's head almost perfectly at most all ranges and all I haft to do to hit headshots is fill in the enemy's head instead of covering it with a cross. Much easier to determine if my crosshair is on top of who I want to shoot.
This guide is better than some more recent ones this guide really helped me out and I learned something despite playing the game for 2 months. Great job skillcapped
using white made my aim more consistent, I wasn't thinking about flicking as much, and more 'just did it' then when using cyan/green, I'm not exactly a high level player but crosshairs are so reliant on personal preference that I don't think its fair to say, all people in this category should use this, especially with how much variation we see even with the pros.
I use a green thin crosshair with black borders but the inner lines are half opacity and a small dot in the middle that is fully visible. I find this the best since I have a dot to tell me where the middle is and the lines help me to position for Sova arrows. A lot of people told me I have the most beautiful crosshair they have ever seen lol.
A lot men have some mild form of colorblindness of either of the 3 major varieties. You can do plenty of tests online to see which variant you may or not have to some amount. Knowing that information is very useful when it comes to setting the color intensities of your monitor and crosshair/outline selection. Especially considering most people opt for having a green crosshair/red outline. While red/green through protanopia and deuteranopia are the most common forms of colorblindness. Understand that colorblindness doesn't mean you don't see color at all, most people don't even know they have it.
i like the pro cross hair with some tweaks to it. i made the outer line a little dot and turned on the movement and firing error only for the outer lines

Wtf how can you focus on your crosshair?? The first thing in learning how to aim is understanding that you mostly should look at the enemy, not crosshair.
I dont think having your focus on your enemy is a good idea at the start of a engagement, because of your coming around a corner and your crosshair is at the ground but your looking at your enemy then they have the advantage because you have to move your crosshair much much more to hit him.
@@YOLO-nx3xy you can have your focus on the enemy without aiming at the ground like an idiot lol. You still need good crosshair placement, always having your crosshair where you expect an enemy's head to be... but you are looking for the enemy and then using muscle memory to drag your crosshair to them. This only works if you have good muscle memory though, if you don't you need to focus on your crosshair as it gets closer to the enemy to know when it is over the enemy perfectly and when to fire. Once you have muscle memory down pat though where you can look anywhere on your screen and bring your crosshair to that place with pinpoint accuracy, is when should you stop focusing on your crosshair at all. Doing so limits how much information you can perceive & track and overall limits how you can react to your environment.

If you are staring at your crosshair you can't react as quickly to what your target is doing and where they are. The OP was right in what he said, the crosshair is just a reference point and shouldn't be the focus of your attention or used purely to aim as much as it is just a marker/reminder of where the center of your screen is. This is why a lot of pros use smaller crosshairs or even a dot in some cases. **the exception to this is if the enemy/target is at very far ranges where you need pixel perfect accuracy to hit them, that is the only time you should really be staring or focusing on your crosshair because the placement needs to be pixel perfect.
