I just started playing this a few days ago, and this game has the best training range I've seen, it has so many option. I had some experience with overwatch before their player-base became toxic lol, but liking this so far. It's cool that this is a little more tactical than OW, since everyone is squishy, and you really have to know how your abilities can be used efficiently.

He sounded super confident at the start of the guide, almost overconfident, and I was beyond skeptical, because I’ve seen many guides and they haven’t done much for me. I was delighted to see that this video was actually super well done, incredibly comprehensive, and gave several methods to go about things without being overwhelming. Probably the best aim guide I’ve seen on RUclips. He accurately described what I didn’t know and even provided an example in case you didn’t fully understand. At the end, even giving a solid routine to follow. Honestly dude, props, I loved this video, thank you. Also, I looked up the most recent pro eDPI and it seems like it’s 280 but the times were different when this video was made, so it makes sense XD. Again, amazing video, pat yourself on the back man

Disclaimer: long post intended for helping new to pc fps players understand what goes into having good aim from a irl approach(ie hardware and biology) and suggestions for fastest and most consistent results. my edpi alternates between 160 and 169.6 but my aim is almost blasphemously good. I studied jjonak when i first started pc gaming so i copied his exact sensitivity and mouse pad size cuz i was an overwatch player and got to masters(top 1.2-0.2% of players) in 3 months one tricking zenyatta with a dps playstyle(legit only 3-3.5k healing per 10m, which if you know overwatch is borderline not doing your job as a healer). Took around 180 hours, which was a little less than 2h a day of playtime on average. The reason i say this is because i strongly STRONGLY encourage all you new to fps players(since valorant has drawn a bunch of them) to force yourself to gradually lower your sensitivity as much is as humanly possible. It will be uncomforteable using your arm to aim for the first few weeks but the payoff is incredible. Took me like 3 weeks of lowering my sensitivity every day by around 5-10% of the prior day to get it comforteable that low, but by the time i was at the end of the month and starting to build up my muscle memory(about 1 week from getting to that super low sensitivity ive maintained using), i was high plat(plat is top 25-10% of players for reference), by the end of the second month i was mid diamond(top 10-2~% of players) and by that third month(which was christmas for me since i started in the last week of september) i hit masters, which is top like 1.2-0.2% of players. The more volume and variety of muscles being used for an action, the better your muscle memory will be able to develop. This is a well known sports science fact, which is why basketball coaches for example tell you to “shoot with your whole body” instead of just your arms. But remember, if you do this and get into the crazy low edpi’s that i and many of the most fabled and consistent esport pro’s use, the bigger your mousepad will need to be(since you really dont want the length of your pad to be less than 180% as stated in the video, mine is 18.6 inches wide for reference). Also, lighter mouses would help alot with this too for a plethora of technical reasons, but at sensitivities around 200+, as long as your mouse isnt like 130 grams or more its a whole lot less big of a deal compared to when you need to swing your arm a foot and a half across just to look behind you quickly. In fact, if ur sitting around 300-400 edpi and your mouse is less than like 75 grams, youre likely to experience floatiness(the thing people use lower dpi’s like 400-800 to avoid). I myself, with the absurdly low sensitivity, use a 47 gram mouse and it feels like my aim is literally in sync with my arms movement, rather than guiding an object with my arm to control my aim. When i switch to games like destiny 2 or cod or fortnite for example though, i increase my converted edpi to 50% higher and make my scoped sensitivity(adjusted for new field of view) equivalent to my valorant(and overwatch) sensitivity for reference.

My reaction time is low. I absolutely cannot nail any in hard. You react when the bot was *just* about to spawn. I react only *after* they spawn. That split second reaction is a huge difference. That's why I suck at mobile characters like shade, who's usually at the forefrunt or Jett. Sage ftw lol
