Should I be able to do the one-swipe-180 across the entire mousepad or from the middle? So basically, if I move my mouse from the left end of my mousepad to the right end, should that be a 180 or a 360?
I love your guides man always helps me a lot. I use 0.325 sens 800dpi, mainly a wrist aimer. I tried the tracking test and was surprised that I am able to track the target really well even at high sens, like 0.500 or 0.600, so I am going to try to upgrade my sens a bit to the 0.400/0.450 range
The mouse acceleration thing is controversial, plenty of research done by esports health professionals and top aimers suggest that the "muscle memory" aspect of aiming is negligible when it comes to speed. Also plenty of pros use eDPI less than 200! Zellsis, Leaf, Babybay, etc.
Mouse accel can be useful for 1% of players, but I can't recommend it to the general public without coaching them... Muscle memory exists inside of the game, but in terms of aim training it's pointless topic... I said the avg numbers of PRO players eDPI's, but also for an average Valorant player, going below 200 eDPI would be suicide for their aim, if they didn't reach at least 85% of their potential! ^^
1. The dpi latency isn’t actually important. If you look at the way it was tested, it’s literally just saying when the dots are closer, the first dot will be hit sooner, your crosshair will begin moving sooner. However, you will arrive at the target at the same time regardless of your dpi. It makes no difference. High dpi is better because less pixel skipping. 2. Mouse accel is amazing. As you said in a lot of your video, low and high sens are different. Targets feel larger and easier to hit on low sens, but closer on high sens. Medium sens is a balance, but mouse accel allows you to get the full benefits of both. As for the unnecessary learning, most people I’ve coached who I’ve recommend accel to have learned their curves within a day. That being said, the curve has to be set up properly. 3. Changing sens. Changing sens is a great way to train and improve your aim. As you said, different sensitivities have different benefits. Use one that is uncomfortably high when training and you will improve your precision use one uncomfortably low to practice speed. 4. More people need to stop with the whole overflick lower underflick raise idea, i agree it’s insane.
Great video as always, happy to see how the channel became so popular, papito. You deserve more than this 😄 I have been with you since the channel was with less than 5k subs hahaha and I have been waiting for this guide from you like forever lol. I have a question that I hope my radiant coach can help me with.👀 I play with a sens of 0.452 and 800 DPI. This eDPI allows me to do semi perfect accurate flicks in valorant from head to head without any problem and it checks all the checklist you said in the video BUT in aimlab, I can't do very well with this sens on tasks that involve vertical/diagonal movements like six-shot and Gridshot (I get hardly a 60K-70K after multiple tries on gridshot while changing my grip style to fingertips so I can move more freely). And on other tasks like Spidershot 180, I get shit on with a very low score than mine before. I still get a high score on other precision tasks like Headshot precision I get 105K+ consistently and 75K+ on the headshot ultimate task (Aimlab says I'm top 0.1 on precision). This wasn't the case before but this all started after changing my cheap mouse with my new Logitech mouse, with the cheap mouse I was playing like on 1200 DPI with 0.845 game sens. So is this a good sens for me or is this could be a problem with my mouse grip or what? I use a hybrid grip between claw and palm grip. I have a cheap medium cloth mousepad but I ordered a more expensive large one that should arrive soon. Gaming accessories are so expensive in Egyptian pounds if you compare them to USD 😁 *My aimlab rank is Emerald 1 almost about to hit diamond and my valorant rank is Gold 1 mostly because I am always solo queuing and I play 5-10 hours a week because of work.* Can you help me?
Your Aim Lab performance completely doesn't matter if you can't properly perform in game... do everything that is going to help you in Valorant and don't even bother with Aim Lab problems! ^^
I play on 800 eDPI, 1600 DPI at 0.5 sensitivity. Should I lower it to 0.313 maybe to get 500 eDPI or 0.4 to get that 640 eDPI? Also great video, I just found you and now I’m subscribing!
@@Charla7an Yeah but I also realized that I use my wrist and not my arm, and I don’t have the biggest of room for my mouse space if you know what I mean. But I’ll try that out, thx so much!
You should post more gameplay videos, like an Omen, Jett, Chamber series! Would love to see you play when you aren’t live streaming or I miss your stream!
I have used aim lab for like a month with Windows pointer precision on without knowing this setting. If i turn it off,i think my progress would be affected. So,should i really turn it off now?
Aim lab is steam and and is made most likely with the half-life engin. Raw input is probably enabled. You don’t have to disable enhanced pointer priscision if the game has raw input like valorant and cs go.
800 is enough to remove pixel skipping from some mice, and there's minor improvement going above... on 1600 DPI it's really hard to control your mouse pointer when you want to use Brim smokes or minimap! ^^
Amazing video, I was originally using a very low sensitivity with a mouse acceleration program then I changed to 800 dpi with 0.3 in game sensitivity and saw immediate results
I always shined on shooters with my aim compensating for my lack game sens during the learning phases of each game, always had the same way to find my sens, I need to be able to do a perfect 180 with the same exact at motion, Valorant is the one game where I can’t aim at shit, I picked the game up yesterday, can find my sens. 400 dpi everything over 0.5 I find to high and I would need to be playing at least at 0.6 to be able to use my 180 usual method. So i’m lost for now. Champion rank in siege, complète dog shit in Valorant for the moment.
That was a very Nice detailed video about sensi settings, polling rate, posture ergonomics, etc. but Charla7an i am currently playing on 0.62 sensi with 800 dpi and i feel comfortable with it,... should i really lower my sensi if i feel a little bit pixel skip while that 'drone tracking exercise' ???
That wrist aiming point was interesting. I'm 100% a wrist aimer and I think I've lowered my sensitivity so low because that's what wrist aimers do. To do a 180 switch I was always lifting my mouse and always felt slow so now my sensitivity has gone from eDPI 280 to 400. Funnily enough in AimLabs as I increased the dpi I always seem to do better so that might explain it.
A really good video but do you have any info that could support the first rule? I'm using 400 dpi since 2015 and I don't think I can change it and many other players still use it. It's also a good DPI to remind you that you need hand movement while also exploring things on desktop and not only while gaming.
It's a minor improvement, basically only the most experienced players can notice the difference in DPI - for an example, I feel it a lot on G X Superlight! Check out some other RUclips videos on this topic, they've covered it with some scientific evidence... ^^
@@Charla7an Does dpi make a difference as long as it's above 800? I mean, is there really a difference between 800 dpi with 0.4 sens and 1600 dpi with 0.2 sens?
Used to be a god at csgo during first lockdown covid 19 with 800 dpi 0.8 sens. But after playing valorant there is a pretty hefty increase in vertical movement and even horizontal movement because of the added abilities + movement. Usually I'd use 800 dpi and 0.251 sens for valorant, but I think I might need to make my sens 0.314 or 0.377
On the god damn mouse dpi and polling rate thing for FLICKING not tracking. Using 400 dpi and 500 polling rate gives faster 1 frame flicks becuase it has less info over a larger scale. I don’t recommend 500 polling rate for like apex or cpma becuase of tracking doe
so you say you would suggest to put your valorant sens around 1.25 higher than your csgo sens, what would you suggest for volaront if you coming from PUBG?
The video is very interesting. I play with 800 DPI, I started playing with 0.32 sensitivity. I increased it to 0.35, after half a year I increased it to 0.39 because I felt discomfort in my wrist. After a year, I'm looking to increase the sensitivity a bit. I am a wrist player. So, the 180 degree flicks hurt my wrist a bit (that's why I decided to increase it to 0.39). However, I feel that my 180 degree gameplay is quite poor, although I have gotten used to using my arm to do the 180, I feel that it is not enough. I did the PSA, and he recommends 0.50. However, I don't know if it's too much considering that the average eDPI of a professional player is 280. I don't know whether to pay attention to the PSA or lower it a bit from 0.50 to 0.45, for example. What do you think?
@@Amman1214 I tried to transition to being an arm player, with a sensitivity of 0.28. Curiously, I injured my arm and was off for a week and a half. But thanks to this I managed to get used to playing with my arm. I ended up becoming a player mainly with the wrist, but with certain movements I felt comfortable doing them with my arm. I am currently testing 0.365 as I am in the habit of playing with both arm and wrist, so I don't force either part at all. I don't think I'll lower the sensitivity from there. I may end up raising it in the future, but for now I feel comfortable with it. With my arm I can do 180 degrees without forcing it, and at a short distance (up to 90 degrees) with my wrist.
@@Charla7an okay thank you SM for the info and helping with my confusion on it all but I was also wondering on why 57% of the community uses 400 dpi is there any actual reason for it?
The benefits of higher DPI are minimal, and only noticable for players that have big experience in FPS games... but, keep your DPI over 800 regardless! ^^
No, just x2 your current sense in game and it would feel normal since they would have the same eDPI. The only thing that would feel different is your mouse speed while using your computer normally since it would be faster.
just curious, do you have the same stance for mouse accel in programs like rawaccel? i know ppl who are immortal and above who use them (myself included)
I dont have much space on my table so I have to do lift off's to move 180. If I make my sens to the number where I would not have to do a lift off then my aim control gets worse and I am not comfortable with it. So I should sacrifice the 180's for more aim control since most of the valorant fights u take happen infront of you?.
Definitely, predominantly wrist aimers are always a bit better... it's like a painter making the fine details on a picture, for that type of motion he's not gonna use his whole arm... same method transfers to aim in gaming! ^^
Could you shortly explain to me please why is RawInputBuffer good? Anytime I enable it I feel like my sens is horrible. I don't hit as many hs strafing as I do with it disabled. I've tried testing the feature for multiple days and whenever I went back it always felt better to me, I currently play on 800 dpi and 0,35 in game. Do you have any tips for me, do you maybe think it is just a placebo effect? Like I've really tried to get used to it..
RawInputBuffer overrides all of the windows mouse settings with your Valorant sensitivity settings... currently this option is still in Beta and technically it doesn't do anything, but it will...
800dpi on the mouse and 0.43 in game? IMPOSSIBLE! I tried it and it was sooooo slowwww. Like I'm not comparing it to anything, I just tried it and it was really so slow that I had to left my mouse twice to turn around After watching this I went to do some adjustments for like an hour and finished with 3200dpi and 0.5 in game, my aim is more accurate rn like I can go left and right and aim so well in a 150 degree but I feel it's so slow around the corners or if someone started shooting from behind, I feel like I got a problem here
Bruh, 3200 DPI and 0.5, my guy can do 3600 no-scope 😂 - join my discord server and share the VOD of you playing a game of Valorant, really wanna see your micro adjustements with this sens! ^^
@Charla7an Okay okay mb I'm sorry stop laughing 😂 I realized that this is so wrong and it was bc I only used to use my wrist only. I changed my arm set and now I use both arm and wrist and turned off that accelerator in addition mouse settings. I'm training my aim now at 3000dpi and 0.5 in-game (I think, or 0.45 not sure) and it's going great and omg would you see how much I improved and how many headshots I'm pulling. But I still need more training to get used to it, yet to call it done

@@Charla7an 0.55 one but its shaky.0.4 is steady but sometimes i miss flicks.what should i go with..And Y u said above 640 edpi is useless? thanks 4 replying brother i didnt expect....
Papito, if my new sensitivity works very well for me with guns like sheriff and guardian but can't spray control with it other guns like a vandal, is this means it's too high or I should practice spray control with it?
My eDPI is 1500 it seems, 1000 DPI with 1.5 multiplier. Is making it lower will mess up my aim? I suck at tracking but really good in flicking with the settings and I'm quite used to it
I use 144hz monitor and I do get 150-300fps. What I realized is I suck with high sensitivity no matter how much I want to get used to it for a long time,(800 dpi),. I reduced my sens from 3.7 to 3.4 and finally 3.12. much better now I can controll my crosshair better for sure, if my control mess up again I'll just high it up for a while and again come back down to 0.34 or 0.31

Would you recommend switching your grip? Or is it better to stay with the grip that feels most natural?
I'd stay with the grip that feels more natural if you're below Immortal 3 ^^
many valorant pros disagree with your suggestion that one's minimum edpi should be 200
i like your bandana and i like valorant-
Great video as always, happy to see how the channel became so popular, papito. You deserve more than this 😄
I have been with you since the channel was with less than 5k subs hahaha and I have been waiting for this guide from you like forever lol. I have a question that I hope my radiant coach can help me with.👀
I play with a sens of 0.452 and 800 DPI.
Gaming accessories are so expensive in Egyptian pounds if you compare them to USD 😁
*My aimlab rank is Emerald 1 almost about to hit diamond and my valorant rank is Gold 1 mostly because I am always solo queuing and I play 5-10 hours a week because of work.*
Can you help me?
Your Aim Lab performance completely doesn't matter if you can't properly perform in game... do everything that is going to help you in Valorant and don't even bother with Aim Lab problems! ^^
@@Charla7an Thanks man
I play on 800 eDPI, 1600 DPI at 0.5 sensitivity. Should I lower it to 0.313 maybe to get 500 eDPI or 0.4 to get that 640 eDPI? Also great video, I just found you and now I’m subscribing!
That's really hiiigh my friend, I'd definitely try to go at least at that 640 eDPI levels! ^^
@@Charla7an Yeah but I also realized that I use my wrist and not my arm, and I don’t have the biggest of room for my mouse space if you know what I mean. But I’ll try that out, thx so much!
What's the Mouse DPI change app?
Every mouse has different software for that! ^^
what is your mousepad?
Glorious Model 3XL
You should post more gameplay videos, like an Omen, Jett, Chamber series! Would love to see you play when you aren’t live streaming or I miss your stream!
Will try to make more highlights in the future! ^^
What is your opinion about 1600 dpi ? Can you make a video about high dpi ? Also why you prefer 800 still?
He actually says that the best range is from 800-3200. 1600 is right in the middle, perfect.
Great to hear my friend! ^^
Xtrfy m4 400 dpi only Valorant. Other games 800.
I have the same sens and the same feeling so I just stick what I practice with
The whole point of these rules is to find middle ground that works for you, some things will always have to suffer! ^^
i love u man u the king thx
That wrist aiming point was interesting. I'm 100% a wrist aimer and I think I've lowered my sensitivity so low because that's what wrist aimers do. To do a 180 switch I was always lifting my mouse and always felt slow so now my sensitivity has gone from eDPI 280 to 400. Funnily enough in AimLabs as I increased the dpi I always seem to do better so that might explain it.
What’s that mouse pad that covers your whole desk?
Glorious Model 3XL ^^
Marginal... everything above 800 DPI is fine! ^^
Used to be a god at csgo during first lockdown covid 19 with 800 dpi 0.8 sens. But after playing valorant there is a pretty hefty increase in vertical movement and even horizontal movement because of the added abilities + movement. Usually I'd use 800 dpi and 0.251 sens for valorant, but I think I might need to make my sens 0.314 or 0.377
I switch my sens every game so yea ty
Find your perfect sensitivity and stick to it as much as you can! ^^

Do you know the percentage conversion your Apex to Overwatch sens should be? Is it 20-25% higher, lower or exact transfer?
Both games favor a bit faster sens in my opinion, so I'd keep it the same! ^^
Thank you
Thank you for the support! ^^
What is 800 dpi in cpi
Guess I am playing on too high sens, 1300-ish edpi yet I am still Diamond 3 in Aim Labs and avg above 20% HS per match
holy shit i just realised i was playing on 128 edpi
How do you even kill an enemy that is behind you with that sensitivity? xD
My guy was doing a low sensitivity challenge 🗿
so you say you would suggest to put your valorant sens around 1.25 higher than your csgo sens, what would you suggest for volaront if you coming from PUBG?
I'd probably keep Valorant sens same as in PUBG! ^^
@@Charla7an would you more orientate on the (red dot) ads sens or the general sens?
General Sens
So what have u decided to do im tryna figure sens out
@@Amman1214 I tried to transition to being an arm player, with a sensitivity of 0.28.
Just a Question.. Is 1080 EDPI good for me tho? (Wrist Gamer)
what the actual fuck is this high sensitivity, how the fuck can you hit any shots with that?? I'm just curious :)
I'd never in my life go above 640 eDPI for Valorant, it is too high to have smooth and controlable aim...
@@Charla7an Ok i need to change lol TY mate :) Still using Aimlab with the same sens lol

so is having a dpi over 800 better than? but if that was the case then how come your not using a dpi higher than 800?
800 DPI and higher is better... I'm not using higher than 800 DPI because I can't control it when I want to smart ping on the map xD
@@Charla7an alright so if i am comfortable with 800 dpi 0.56 is that good or should i match the Edpi with a higher DPI?
Keep it! ^^
I’ve been using 400dpi for years now should I bring it up to 800 will there be a major difference?
No, just x2 your current sense in game and it would feel normal since they would have the same eDPI. The only thing that would feel different is your mouse speed while using your computer normally since it would be faster.
My man Reverae explained it! ^^
W vid
just curious, do you have the same stance for mouse accel in programs like rawaccel? i know ppl who are immortal and above who use them (myself included)
I'd never use something like that, literally additional unnecessary variable...
love you sir
Dude you're my only hope...it has to work.
It will! ^^
@@Charla7an It already did.
awesome!
I dont have much space on my table so I have to do lift off's to move 180. If I make my sens to the number where I would not have to do a lift off then my aim control gets worse and I am not comfortable with it. So I should sacrifice the 180's for more aim control since most of the valorant fights u take happen infront of you?.
Depends how good of a crosshair placement you have...
Whats your crosshair settings in this video? I really like it, thanks ❤️
You have it in the description! ^^
Can we convert from wrist to arm aiming?
Search up west proter
@@Charla7an It doesn't do anything? O_O
So am I completely going crazy, god damn
It shouldn't impact anything yet... placebo 😂
running 0.3 val sens and 800 dpi so I have 240 edpi and it works wonders
800dpi on the mouse and 0.43 in game? IMPOSSIBLE! I tried it and it was sooooo slowwww. Like I'm not comparing it to anything, I just tried it and it was really so slow that I had to left my mouse twice to turn around
After watching this I went to do some adjustments for like an hour and finished with 3200dpi and 0.5 in game, my aim is more accurate rn like I can go left and right and aim so well in a 150 degree but I feel it's so slow around the corners or if someone started shooting from behind, I feel like I got a problem here
Bruh, 3200 DPI and 0.5, my guy can do 3600 no-scope 😂
- join my discord server and share the VOD of you playing a game of Valorant, really wanna see your micro adjustements with this sens! ^^
@Charla7an Okay okay mb I'm sorry stop laughing 😂
I realized that this is so wrong and it was bc I only used to use my wrist only. But I still need more training to get used to it, yet to call it done
why did you say to turn on rawinputbuffer and you dont have it on ?
Generally it doesn't matter if it's off or on at the moment, cuz it's still in Beta...

Papito, if my new sensitivity works very well for me with guns like sheriff and guardian but can't spray control with it other guns like a vandal, is this means it's too high or I should practice spray control with it?
Practice spray control... if you're already able to perform clean flicks and tracking.
My eDPI is 1500 it seems, 1000 DPI with 1.5 multiplier. Is making it lower will mess up my aim? I suck at tracking but really good in flicking with the settings and I'm quite used to it
Which rank are you?
Silver 1, I'm used to high sense since I was from TF2 and just tried out other type of fps
I'd highly recommend you to lower it down for at least 30% ^^
I use 144hz monitor and I do get 150-300fps. What I realized is I suck with high sensitivity no matter how much I want to get used to it for a long time,(800 dpi),. I reduced my sens from 3.7 to 3.4 and finally 3.12. much better now I can controll my crosshair better for sure, if my control mess up again I'll just high it up for a while and again come back down to 0.34 or 0.31

Me playing on 0.2:
ayay lemme teach u one thing. speed in pointer settings should be on 6th. since 6 is 1:1 ratio. basically you are using 0.25. 1:4
Valorant has Raw Input so basically the in-game sensitivity isn't impacted by this setting, only the pointer speed...
@@Charla7an It does feel different, their raw input isnt good at all. Tested it, it is small difference but noticable.
Especially with pixel skipping. In general high sens players will notice it , low sens probably not at all. Mostly on players that use lowdpi/high sens
