If you managed to hit that high with such setup, a better one will significantly boost your skill ceiling as a player - keep up the grind my friend! ^^
I barely reached gold in my 60hz 40-50fps and I knew my skills were better than that . After I upgraded my pc I reached double ranked twice to plat😂😂 and reached diamond . Although I still use 60 hz monitor having a consistent fps made huge difference
thanks for validating my reasoning for having 2 extra accounts where i limit test myself and play with no fear for my rank. no one understands that if im having a bad day, i can just go on the other 2 accounts and practice still without impacting my main account. i got all 3 accounts to diamond and im tryin for ascendant on my main then ill do all 3

It's hard to manage a team in low/mid Elo especially if you're not high on the score board cause that's what people see

Hey it’s my first time watching you but this guide looks awesome, I’m trying to beat my toxic as hell friend and when he said get on my level cuz he is silver 2 I’m bronze 1 (but I’m somehow better btt it still lose) it rlly made me wanna grind up the ranks and beat him
finally a good video that adresses the problems i got with ranking up i am trying to improve everyday to get nice/good teammates someday in the future, teammates who won't complain that my rank is too low, teammates who teach me new stuff and tricks, teammates who flash for me, teammates who make strategies i can share and use with my next teams and so on until then, i have to get out of a league with unreliable teammates(silver) and i wanted to know a good way to do so, i've already acknowledged i need a way to 1v9 or constantly clutch every game, so i'm watching and applying new strategies every day, playing solo matches, playing matches with discord duos who can teach me some new stuff i can learn. I practice my aim for at least 5 minutes before every match, so i can get some nice headshots or do some insane clutches some rounds to keep the good teammates with me on the next match some say i'm a smurf, that my aim is too good for silver, that they won't ever believe i'm a silver with the plays i got, and that boosts my confidence A LOT! so i perform very well for the next matches i play with they guys who said that. in a match i was bottom fragging inting with neon every round. enemies were trying to make fun of me by saying i carry my team by demoralising their team. that made me so confident that i turned around a 1-10 match to a 13-10 by myself. i destroyed enemies and got the mvp. Today i won a match with just one ally(2v5). but on some matches enemies abuse some sick strategies i can't deal with, like smoke + shotgun, sova dart + odin, 2 rushing flanks. i can't deal with any of those 3 strategies, let alone ALL OF THEM IN A SINGLE GAME! I lost 0-13 with barely any kills on the flanks and some bombs planted I usually have very low confidence when i'm 1vX or when I act instinctively(start shooting too fast when i see 4 enemies with the back to me and only get 2 kills) and play bad and i don't know how to fix that. You said rank doesn't matter, but it does matter when you talk about getting teammates. They will refuse playing with a silver, I can't duo with any of irl friends(not even my little sister or her friends) because they are all plat or above. That's why I need to improve and get out of this damned toxic silver rank.

I used to dismiss hardware as something I could just work around, but after going from 40 fps, constant packet loss, and 40 ping with some really weird graphics (I could see through neon walls LOL) to a 144Hz monitor on ~180 fps, mid-range graphics card, and consistent 10 ping, I went from hardstuck gold for more than a year to diamond in just 2 weeks.
To the people who come across this comment, handle my gloating for a bit longer. I have over 1000 hours on Cypher and it's at a point where I don't see anything new when someone says "new" setup or something because I've already found it in a custom >:D. Even glitch cams and offense cage lineups/offense trapwires.
@SunnyXD MC I was just below max rank every season since I started the game (immortal 3 if I recall right), it was just obnoxious to play in theses conditions and I'm glad I stopped
I get that mech skill is not what will get me all the to the top, but hitting the shots is what makes me feel great. I still think I hard anchored the team if I am botfragging because i entry site too late or too early ( duelists like to bait I guess), but made most calls and smoked properly most rounds. Winning without performing = Loss on my mind. I will change that now.
i reached d2 on a laptop with 60hz monitor, 80-90 ping and 70 fps and i think thats my maximum unless i upgrade all of this, cause when i play on a really good pc im actually consistent
I'm close to hitting Diamondl, but I'm rly inconsistent, I cant drop 26 in one game and the next one 10 mins later under 10 xD. And this vid rly helps!! great work
Hey charla7an, how about making a series (or maybe just one video) where you could watch other players (specifically your subscribers) strats/oneways/flashes etc... and tell us whether they are good or shit. That way you can coach more valuable data without giving away whatever you have for your private coaching, and maybe you see some executes/oneways to use by yourself
I’m a hardstuck silver and I’ve been struggling to win games. I know how to jiggle peek, strafe, spray, etc but I’m still not good enough. Any tips? Also I think 90% is because I have a bad mindset. How do I fix that 😭
dont main gekko, also fade just when u fill. i think omen is the best choice for u and also try to consider playing jett, wouldnt play reyna if i was u.
@@brawlwithkiddoz8937 Is your mechanical aim worse than others? Prioritize picking an agent with flashes. Do you entry on site better than other players in your rank? Play duelist. Use agents that are forgiving for your weaknesses (i.e. the flashes if you have bad aim because you have huge advantage if opponent is flashed) and agents that are emphasized on your strong points (i.e. the entrying duelist example). If you're generally better than people in your rank, play more agents that matter on the individual gameplay and not teamplay, such as most initiators and duelists, as well as omen. If you are generally worse, play the role to help your teammates (for example, you can rack up tons of assists with skye by healing and you help the team by dogging for info). Hope this makes sense and i hope it helps. The most important thing is that you stick to 1 agent and have 1 secondary backup on a different but similar role (don't main duelist as primary and sentinel as secondary because their styles are entirely different)
I think for your current rank someone easier to carry would be better, such as Jett, Reyna or Phoenix... in those lobbies team coordination doesn't really exists and it's easier to carry games with duelists... But, I'd also recommend you to main Omen in order to improve your overall map and game awareness! ^^
My setup ideas for valorant (idk how budget friendly they are, this is my opinion) Pretty good budget mouse is the glorious model o, lightweight and pretty affordable, although i don't use it because I saved up for a better mouse, if you have money buy a g pro Literally any keyboard that doesn't actively prevent you from pressing buttons is ok, this is mostly subjective I got my monitor in an insane sale and then it stopped selling so I won't say much about that My GPU is a GeForce gt 1050, i have no idea how much it cost, but can run my game on just about 150fps
So it's true that sometimes I don't hit my shots just because of the servers or im just shit. Feels bad man i wish they would make a server in my country so that i have 9 ping like ong League
I can vouch for the hardware requirements: I started to play csgo and then valorant on an intel hd laptop and 60hz monitor. The highest rank I reached with them was gold nova 2 and iron 3 (Ep 1 Act 2 and 3) respectively Upgraded to a gtx 1060 and a 144hz monitor. Only then I began to realise how hellish tough my spraying and aiming were in previous setups: In 6 months my peak csgo rank is Master Guardian Elite and Gold 1 in Valorant (didn't play valo for 2 years btw) Summary: Frames MATTER. Whoever says otherwise is just on copium.
I have been playing valorant since launch and i am hardstuck ascendant since EP5 . It's been more than 3 years playing this game and now im starting to play even worse , i dont have any consistency , always have bad timing , ik my spray is bad (working on it) . How is it smurfing if you're playing on a brand new accounts and trying to prove yourself that you deserve your current elo? anyways the whole point of this game is to consistently improve, reach higher ranks or become an eSports player, and there are multiple paths to success ^^
I have 12 Valorant accounts on which I've played from closed beta, and all of them got Radiant at some point... I think in the last 3 years I've completed at least 9 - 10 challenges in Valorant from Iron to Radiant in a single act! ^^ On my main account I play usually only once in an Episode to get a Radiant gun buddy...

It is. Like he said, you can smart gamble. Compensate with knowledge and mechanics. Its just more difficult and having better hardware just makes it easier. My cousin had a shit laptop and mouse and was still able to become diamond with enough skill and ingame knowledge. Naturally he got even better with a better setup.

((Also to 13:03)First, it was iron 3 - after a while a was playing with b3 - s1, Second was bronze 3 - and I was playing with s3 - g1, Now it is s3 - And I playing with g3 - p1). I'm not complaining, I love playing Valo, especially after a hard work (Valo losses don't seem to be much significant when you have real life problems), just thought it was a fun observation

It's really hard to be consistent when your fps is not consistent either. 40fps gang rise up.
Not hating, but having radiant mmr from early stages of the game has helped you be consistent with being high immo/radiant in every act im guessing
He did a challenge recently where he reached RADIANT ON high pinh on another account
I have 12 Valorant accounts on which I've played from closed beta, and all of them got Radiant at some point... I think in the last 3 years I've completed at least 9 - 10 challenges in Valorant from Iron to Radiant in a single act! ^^
On my main account I play usually only once in an Episode to get a Radiant gun buddy...

It is. Like he said, you can smart gamble. Compensate with knowledge and mechanics. Its just more difficult and having better hardware just makes it easier. My cousin had a shit laptop and mouse and was still able to become diamond with enough skill and ingame knowledge. Naturally he got even better with a better setup.

I've been hardstuck in highest degree of my rank even playing with the next ranks every year now. ((Also to 13:03)First, it was iron 3 - after a while a was playing with b3 - s1, Second was bronze 3 - and I was playing with s3 - g1, Now it is s3 - And I playing with g3 - p1). I'm not complaining, I love playing Valo, especially after a hard work (Valo losses don't seem to be much significant when you have real life problems), just thought it was a fun observation
