    The first herrings I ever tried smoking became bitter when it was done. It kind of put me off but I’ll retry. I love how you treated the fish.

    I like the herrings and shrimps used in this recipe, both are well cleaned and I like how you soaked them in salt, for it to penetrate into the flesh of the fish and shrimps for more taste, perfect and quick to use in dishes, great gorgeous sis, thanks for sharing ❤️👍🏾

    This is wonderful. But a few questions? How long is it safe to keep at room temp? And my guess is humidity is a factor? And do you think it would work for recipes with let's say small fish not from the Sea like let's say fresh water fish like sun perch, blue gill etc?
    Thank you so much for your videos ~Ginget

    • @NanaabasKitchen
      @NanaabasKitchen  2 года назад +4

      It will store at room temp for months. The key is, they need to be bone dry. This hack applies to any fish, regardless of source, that doesn’t have a lot of oil content. Example, fish like mackerel and salmon will not be appropriate.

    Does the shrimp get driedown with its shell on? If so, does one experience the harshness of the shell when combined in foods? Thanks for all you do.

    • @NanaabasKitchen
      @NanaabasKitchen  2 года назад +2

      Yes, the shells are left on, and they’re not harsh in anyway. You get more volume with the shells on. Also because you’ll be blending into powder, she shells will be powered too.
