I searched and found this video. I'm going to freeze dry some shrimp to make a shrimp powder for sauces, gumbos, stocks, etc, and I'm wondering before I do this if you can detect the shells in the powder while eating or do they dissolve away? I know leaving them in there will give a much deeper and richer flavor than just the shrimp, but I also don't want to feel the small bits of shrimp shells as I'm eating. Please let me know what to expect before I leave the heads and peelings on. Thank you!
