  • In this video we will see how a woman from Ghana was able to increase her income by starting her own business producing fish and shrimp powder value added products. This video it is part of a series created to promote peer-to-peer learning. The videos can be used as training tools to help share knowledge and learning on best practices in small-scale fishing communities.
The videos, filmed in Uganda and Ghana, in 2020, were created under the FAO project “Empowering women in fisheries for sustainable food systems”, financed by Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) in support of the implementation of the Voluntary Guidelines for Securing Sustainable Small-Scale Fisheries in the Context of Food Security and Poverty Eradication (SSF Guidelines).
