@@Termynat0r I was worried about that too, which is why I went with the 16”. I don’t have any experience with the 14”, but with how hot this thing gets and how often the fans kick on into full blast, I’m confident it makes a difference.
in Argentina that laptop cost more then $5.000.000 pesos (our local currency) over 5.000usd XD My acer nitro 5 its double more powerfull and cost $1.500.000 pesos
nowhere near an m1 pro. I have an m1 pro and its nowhere near as fast as this. and yeah sure, a dedicated gaming console will run faster, the point is whether or not it can do this job (running games) acceptably as a secondary use - the device is a machine for work primarily.
@@JethroRose hm, and what's the biggest difference between m1pro and m3 max? Im waiting for m4, since damaged my m1 harshly, but not sure how can a new one work even faster, m1 is already as quick and sudden as diarrhea
@@greanch1234 you will be surprised when you get the m4, if you care about the quality and graphics of the game it will allow you to play the games at 4k hdr and every thing with 0 issues
Great voiceover and pace
something doesnt add up.
your 3k monitor is the macbook screen and its 120Hz
The video was recorded on a 6k/60Hz external monitor. I had every game set to 3k because that was about the limit for staying at ~60fps.
Did you turn on FSR for Baldur's gate?
Did you run it on a 14 or 16 inch? I am worried about the temperature and fan noise on the 14 inch

well, basically it is as bad as m1 pro 🙂
love my macbook, but as a gaming device it certainly loses to steamdeck.
