Just bought a used 2017 tech package and love it. I'm always puzzled at why some people think the inside of this car is blend. I've shopped for BMW, Mercedes and Audi and this car is BY FAR, to me anyways, the greatest looking inside. Plus it is well building with quality material compared to the others. Finally, you would have to pay more for the same in others.
I really enjoyed renting this car. The ride is very smooth and quiet and combined with the nice horse power, you could easily get a speeding ticket. I think all the cons could be offset by the price of the vehicle.
I like how Enterprise/National orders these in 3.0t trim rather than the base engine. I'm always happy to take one of these when I see them on the Aisle as the engine sounds great. Too bad Enterprise doesn't order the 3 series or C class with the bigger engine.
Wow! That is a REALLY high mileage rental. I’m sure you are either one of the last or the last renter of this unit. We have already sold many of our 2018 Q50’s, so to see this 2017 model still in the fleet is very surprising. I can’t believe the trunk trim all broken!
You guys already sold off the 2018s? Wow. Are they just not popular rentals? Or is there a mileage cap? Just curious. I'm kinda fascinated about what happens behind the scenes.
100 Rental Cars Well luxury cars lose value fast because more people don’t want to buy a used rental luxury car with 40,000 miles on it. So most luxury rental cars are only kept till about 20,000 miles.
Nice review! Your vice has ASMR quality to it. Regarding the car, I still drive Infiniti G37 sedan and love it. Q50 has a lot more tec. compared to the G37.
I just got my 17 year old daughter a 2017 Premium 3.0t with 32,000 miles for $19,500 and got them to give me $13,500 for my 2012 Acura MDX Technology with 82000 miles. While I agree that the car should have Apple Car Play I just picked up 5 years and 50,000 miles for $6,000 plus a bit better gas mileage. I win.
I agree with everything in this review. Nissan seems to drag out the life of these cars, so they always seem 'behind' compared to the competition. Even the key fob is in need of some updating
They did Update the Q50 for 2018. The 2018 one is better then the 2017 model. The Basic Q50 like the one is this video isn’t that great but once you add options it becomes a great car.
The seats do actually fold but only in certain models. The models that do will have a pull release in the trunk on the left and right side. I'm pretty sure the one you were driving did not have folding seats so they compensated with the pass through instead.
100 Rental Cars you are a braver person than I am. I am afraid if I say it I sound I like a person who is a little passed forty trying to sound hip and cool.
Did you review the Maxima 2017 platinum? Im thinking of getting that or this Q50/ Q50s. Honestly the Maxima interior looks way better. Wich one will you recomend?
Nice.we have an i30 t. 3.0 ^_^ 2000 just watvhing this video. Hope you tested the speed. How fast. You can go 140 real quick. Without even trying. ^_^ thank you for uploading.
These aren’t fast stock but they make easy power with very little mods like the 335i only makes 300hp as well stock but some bolt ons and a tune and they’re monsters any sequential twin turbo system makes a lot of power easily. Plus Infiniti likes to lie about their horsepower lol
Looks bland. Its odd to me the inside seems to be the same color as the outside. Its all a variation of the same drab, dull, grey color. Nothing "pops".
The current Maxima is far superior and a much better value than this car. You literally are paying for a difference in badge. Maxima gets all modern safety features, has a much newer infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, panoramic sunroof, better instrument cluster display, heated and cooled seats, folding rear seats, and just a better overall attention to detail. For $40,000 you get none of that which is a joke for Infiniti. Not to mention the rear view mirror and the front panel for the lights and sunroof controls come right off of an Altima. Infiniti's are not worth their price tags.
Still has the same two touch screen layout that's been around from the 2017 that almost everyone complains about and no Apple CarPlay. No it is not a better value if the only thing it has is AWD. A 2018 Q50 LUXE for $40,000 doesn't even have the Bose sound system along with a slew of other features standard. Sorry but just because it has a different badge does not make it a better value. For $40,000 a Maxima Platinum gets you a dual panoramic sunroof, heated and cooled seats, ascot leather, heated steering wheel, LED headlights, 11 speaker Bose sound system, a newer infotainment system, and a much better quality instrument cluster display. Infiniti's are too much for what they are and personally, the Maxima's interior design looks superior to that of the Q50 despite a different emblem badge.
Sorry you didn't like my video. These are rentals I get for work, so I usually don't have time to stop and clean them before I film. In fact, usually I barely have enough time to film at all. Also, the camera tends to show waaaay more dust than you can see in real life, so I don't even notice until I get home and start editing. Anyway, I hope you'll check out one of my other (cleaner) videos. Cheers!

This sir is true. I've looked at them all as well. The Lexus interior is the only one that's better.

I'm not sure what this guy drive prior to the Q50... I bought one a few weeks ago & I absolutely love the car.
I like how Enterprise/National orders these in 3.0t trim rather than the base engine. I'm always happy to take one of these when I see them on the Aisle as the engine sounds great. Too bad Enterprise doesn't order the 3 series or C class with the bigger engine.
Sorry you have to give a reach around to start the car. Nice review

You're not even old enough to drive
Nice review! Your vice has ASMR quality to it. Regarding the car, I still drive Infiniti G37 sedan and love it. Q50 has a lot more tec. compared to the G37.
the top screen shows navigation on the higher packages and it is different then the 2013. They re-designed it to look like that in 2015.
I just got my 17 year old daughter a 2017 Premium 3.0t with 32,000 miles for $19,500 and got them to give me $13,500 for my 2012 Acura MDX Technology with 82000 miles. Oh and the CarFax is clean clean clean. New tires 1000 miles ago. Score!
Mark Everly 1 owner clean car fax none rental 10k miles 18k , white on black interior. 3.0t version now that’s a deal man , u paid way too much
I agree with everything in this review. Nissan seems to drag out the life of these cars, so they always seem 'behind' compared to the competition. Even the key fob is in need of some updating
Agreed! And it's too bad too, because there's a lot of potential for improvement here. I don't even think it would take much.
bigb252 Well they did update the Q50 for 2018. Infiniti updated their whole line up for 2017 or 2018.
Disney Fan they did a mild refresh on their lineup, yes. The infotainment system seems to be from 2006, still
I really like these, hope to rent one someday. Compact Executive Car, at least to me, means a car like a BMW 3 Series or Mercedes C-Class. :)

Thanks. That's good to know. Honestly, I cannot believe this isn't a standard feature on ALL sedans. Crazy.
Hey can’t wait to see your review of the GMC Acadia I had a chance to ride in a new one two days ago it has its ups and downs
Thanks Jeremy. It's halfway done. I'm going to try to post it tonight if RUclips cooperates.
Apparently folding rear seats is optional. You must have gotten one without the option :(
Great video very well explained
Thinking of purchasing this ride so I downloaded the brochure. It reads that it does come with blind spot monitoring. So now I'm confused.
It does. I just purchase one and I have it. Mine is an AWD. It's good enough for me.
Infinitis are gucci Bro!
Drew, I'm an old man. You're gonna have to translate that into old-man-language for me.
100 Rental Cars hahah, it just means that infinitis are really good cars.... Infinitis have a lot of class!
The first time someone said an article of clothing I had was Gucci I had to look up the reference on the internet.
Gucci = good. Got it! ....okay, now I just gotta work up the nerve to use it in my next review. 👍
100 Rental Cars you are a braver person than I am. I am afraid if I say it I sound I like a person who is a little passed forty trying to sound hip and cool.
Like your videos because I think your opinion fair enough
you get navigation as a add-on package, pay to get
I love my q50
Is it expensive to maintain?
Did you review the Maxima 2017 platinum? Im thinking of getting that or this Q50/ Q50s. Honestly the Maxima interior looks way better. Wich one will you recomend?
I'd go with the Maxima. I think it's a much better car for the money. And I did review it! Check it out here: ruclips.net/video/WMLDpAKz0wA/видео.html
100 Rental Cars thanks
chrispr51 Don’t get the maxima. It has a very crappy cvt transmission.
good review thx
Nice.we have an i30 t. 3.0 ^_^ 2000 just watvhing this video. Hope you tested the speed. How fast. You can go 140 real quick. Without even trying. ^_^ thank you for uploading.
Why is it a twin turbo v6 but only
Make 300 horsepower?

I drove one i love it
You are the best
You can't fold the back seats. There is only a small hole for long stuff
Thanks Ben! It's good to know that I'm not going crazy. Cause I kinda assumed that was an option on ALL 4 door sedans. ...guess not.
Looks bland. Its odd to me the inside seems to be the same color as the outside. Its all a variation of the same drab, dull, grey color. Nothing "pops".
They don’t fold down
Disappointed to see ashtrays on a modern vehicle??? Hello, some people still smoke, unfortunately.

Noah Mascarin Nah it’s not a better value. The Q50 was updated for 2018. 2. The Q50 has AWD.
Noah Mascarin It’s not a better value.

Doesn’t the Maxima have a CVT
Noah Mascarin dude be real, no matter how much u like the maxima u cant say its better than q50...
Bmw has always been my car but this right here is different bmw is garbage compare to this 100% facts
you cant fold the seats in any q50
Thanks! It's good to know I'm not crazy. That being said....why the hell not? Seems like a pretty standard feature.
Yes u can.... I literally own an 2017 q50 and a 2018 q50 and I can get both the seats to go down
It's oddly an option.
You're kidding? You have to pay extra?!? Hmmm, I wonder if that means you can buy a kit online and install the option yourself.
Yeah, you can but I have the premium plus package. It's a 60/40 split.
Lame complaints.
That car is filthy. At least clean the screens before filming a video.
