I once parked in an empty car park to take my dog for a walk, when I got back to the car, the car park was still empty, but "Karen" was there wanting the spot I was in, after she started to shouting at me to hurry the f**k up, I realised my dog needed to go for another walk, a nice long one, with a stop at the cafe in the park for lunch.

Someone needs to tell Mr. Amplifier that when Queen were starting out, they were so poor they had to scrounge through dumpsters for enough bits and pieces for bass player John Deacon to build their own amp. During our divorce, my ex did the thing putting my info into annoying sites like Scientology (and a bondage dating site)! I realized quickly what he'd done and started questioning the callers. Turns out that back then, the Scientologist wrote down the IP addresses of those requests. I took it back to the judge. Ex tried to claim that someone else in his house had done it. I once broke up with a girlfriend after 7 years...she cheated on me at my own house and I caught them... after I got the dude out, I loaded all her things in the back of my truck and told her to get in... I drove her back to her parent's house and said get out... she grabbed a few things and wanted me to help her unload... I got out of my truck, went and lowered my tailgate... I proceeded to smoke my tires in reverse and slammed on the brakes sending most of her stuff in the street... I looked back and there was still some stuff in the bed of my truck... I then started doing some doughnuts in the middle of the street to remove the rest of her belongings... the whole street looked like a yardsale... I drove off into the sunset with a petty smirk on my face...The look on her face was priceless

Yeah, I've done the petty thing over a parking spot. Once around 6pm we had gone to a Red Robin in a Mall for shopping and dinner. I walked back to the car to leave our stuff while my friends waited for a table at RR. A very rude "Karen" stopped right behind my car and started screaming at me to hurry up. She didn't even ask. I told her I was still shopping and meeting friends, so I wasn't leaving and to stop waiting, just go find another spot. She went ballistic, started screaming again that "you have to leave so I can have the spot. You're not allowed to keep a spot". LOL. I stared her down, just stood at my trunk until she started screaming the old "I'll call security". Then I flipped her off and went to RR. She followed me in her car, screaming the entire time. I reported her to Security, asking them to keep an eye on my car in case she tried to damage it as she had threatened. We decided to have a Very leisurely dinner, about 90 minutes or so. Oh, and it was the holidays, so there was parking but not up front. She just wanted a close spot. About 10 minutes into our dinner, we saw several cops show up in the area of my car. Security caught her trying to break into my trunk to STEAL our Xmas presents. Yeah, she got to spend Xmas IN JAIL

Absolutely. My 1st ex who's my son's father talked like this, and stalked me. He kept saying I ruined his life, and he would make me pay. He told me, "I will make you cry an endless stream of tears".
      He did.
On August 13th, 1996, he went to my parent's house and murdered my father. Shot him in the back while he was working in his garden, and again in the back of his head. That will haunt me until I die.
Our story was on "Unsolved Mysteries". When anyone threatens violence and acts so irrationally like this guy, believe them the first time. She should get a protective order. I had a P.O., but it didn't protect my parents.
My sweet mom heard the shots and she found him first. She was never well again, and died of a heart attack later on. I think she literally died of a broken heart. She lost the man she'd loved for more than 40 years and wanted to be with him.

Pettiest thing I did... My ex dumped me the day after Christmas, my family had helped us furnish the whole apartment we were living in. The day after Christmas, when he told me we were done... I had my best friend come over, help me pack, and then after I was packed, I gave her EVERYTHING I had gotten for Christmas to furnish her own apartment. Bedding, towels, kitchen stuff, air fryer, blender, pots and pans, dishes... Over 3,000 dollars worth of stuff for an apartment... She got it all. I moved across the United States to be with family. They sour I gave all that stuff away, but when they found out I gave it to my bestie, they were okay with it.

    • @ranaewalker4262

@@Amy-ky5wr I was moving across the country... What was I supposed to do, leave him with a fully furnished apartment? My family was pissed I left it with him, but when I told them my best friend had the stuff, they were okay with it. They would rather that stuff go to someone who deserves it, rather than a sleazeball who dumped me the day after getting all that shit. And, FYI, I have paid my family back. This was fifteen years ago. They helped me when I was a struggling teen and they know I appreciate what they did. If they had any sort of resentment, they would not have attended my wedding. I got married in Vegas. Not a cheap location. Instead of spending two days in Vegas with me, half my family stays a third day and we all went to the Hoover dam the day after my wedding. I think what I did was petty because my ex thought he was going to get to keep all that stuff and have a nicely furnished apartment after I left... Wrong... He sleeping on itchy sheets, two hole filled towels, one pot, one pan, no dishes, no silverware, no comfort items, no nothing... My ex and. I moved in together and we literally had NOTHING before Christmas. I left him with exactly that... Nothing. So yeah, petty. And my best friend is still my best friend. We have been out to see each other several times over the years. She still has everything. She was able to get a good financial start to her college and her career and that makes me and my family extremely happy for her. So yes... Petty

In my early 20's, I worked in food service, was a key holder, and had a few admin responsibilities like helping make the schedule. I had a coworker who thought they were a much better employee than they actually were. They had an issue with me. I don't really know why, I just wanted to show up to work, do my job, then go home. They, however, looked for any and all reason to complain about me, put me down, trying to make me quit.
Well, as a key holder, I was technically "ranked" above them, so I couldn't really get into petty squabbles with them. However, I helped make the schedule, everyone's schedule.
I adhered to their availability, but definitely gave them shifts I knew they hated. And I didn't just do this all at once, I did it gradually, until pretty much their weekly schedule was one they despised, but as it adhered to the availability they provided, I wasn't breaking any rules. Personal preference is not a factor, and if they complained I always had a valid excuse to give them the shift.
My favorite part was when one of their work friends told me they'd been complaining about me and saying things like "she has it out for me!" And the work friend said "do you really think she goes home at night and thinks of ways to make you miserable?" And during this conversation I'm thinking "yes, yes, I do."
I'm older and hopefully wiser now, but 20 something me felt pretty good about this.

Called my parents and our friends and I was moved out in 7 hours. Mind you, all the furniture in the house was mine! I took the washer because I bought a new stove for the house. I did a petty thing at work once....at the time I was the office manager (aka Office Mom) for a software company (lots of entitled brats worked there). It was an office of about 80 people. The lunchroom was always a mess because people could not seem to figure out how to put their dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Most days, I would find the sink absolutely stacked with dirty dishes, and the dishwasher empty. I tried to leave it like that to see if anyone would take some initiative. Nope. My boss got after me to clean up the mess (none of the stuff was mine btw). So one night I'm loading the dishwasher and found a travel cup (black plastic liner) in the sink. When I turned it over to put it in the machine, cold coffee spilled all over including down my pant leg, on the floor, and down the front of the cabinets. I was not happy. Without cleaning up the mess I went back to my desk to send an email. On the way past my manager's office I told him I was going to send out a harsh email and I would not listen to an crap from him about it. I. Was. Done. So the email says "from this point on, any dishes left in the sink will be assumed to be unwanted and will be tossed in the trash. If you don't want to lose your stuff, put your dirty dishes in the dishwasher or wash it by hand." I went back to the lunch room and cleaned up the mess. Next day I threw out 6 travel cups. Day after that I threw out 4 more. By the third day there were only 2 in the sink. Solved.

Skip a few months and one of my friends was like "I want you to meet someone." So I went over to spend the night with her and meet this gentleman. Almost 22 years later. I'm a nail tech and the pettiest thing I've ever done was clipping nails off of a girl who refused to pay me in full for her set of nails. I'm talking a set that would cost $250 at a salon, but I charged $150 with the $50 going towards the booking the appointment plus it goes towards the cost of the nails so it really isn't that much. I don't expect tips, so all she'd have to pay was the $100. The good thing was she told me that she wouldn't be paying me the full amount JUST as I was about to do 3d art, swarovski art and Aurora powder on XXL stiletto nails. That's when I clipped the nails off and asked her to leave my nails studio. I gave her back her deposit and told her to go to a regular salon for what she wanted and see how much she'll have to pay there. But I'm telling you, the look on her face was payment enough for me because of how badly she treated me over my pricing. It is very fair, and I ALWAYS send my new clients home with a care package that consists of their own nail brush to clean under the nails, as well as their hand file that I used on them (which they can bring back for me to use on them because I don't like reusing files on different people - it's gross) and a cuticle oil pen to help keep their cuticles and nails healthy and looking nice until it's time for a fill. So I feel my petty actions were 100% justified lol.

The pettiest and sadly the grossest thing I've ever done: My bother's girlfriend was taking care of an older man. He wouldn't pay her rate properly for a few months (instead of €150, he paid her 50) and decided to be a pervert to her. Like touching her inappropriately, making sexual comments and just overall being disgusting and inhumane. She took a while to tell me about it, since my brother and her only dated for a year at that point, and I guess she didn't trust me yet. About a week later, we sat down together and had a couple of drinks. Then it hit me. I wanted this person to feel just as disgusted as he made her feel. So I asked my brother for help. He had thrown away off milk just that morning. I took that and poured it into a one-time cup, along with an egg, cigarette butts, habanero pepper and to top it off... I peed in it too. Yes, that was overkill, I know. With my mixture and gloves on (Because... eww) I went over to that guy's mailbox and poured it in there. He was not happy the next day, having to clean that stinking mess all by himself. Well. Don't fuck with my future SIL, I just might get some petty revenge for her sake. I have to say, though: She was very thankful for it, and I was happy I could help. Their wedding is also set to be next year in May

He was too drunk to drive me to a hospital, so I had to wait over 24 hours to see a doctor. Had emergency surgery. When he came to the hospital to see me, he told me he didn’t want to hang out with a cripple, and broke up with me! He had loads of stuff at my place. Gave what clothes my son didn’t want to the Goodwill, put his electric piano on my street in Toronto … Little Italy … with a “free to a good home” sign on it, changed my phone number to unlisted, wouldn’t answer the door when he would drop by, then moved. You have no idea how good that felt! Petty or what? My kids and I still laugh about it! The “clearly working” sign may have been put up by the desk user’s supervisor. 😂😂💀
Worked in a big office full of architects and engineers. I was one of three female employees and the rest were all males. One of the men habitually used the ladies room after lunch and IDK WTF was going on with his bowels, but they really needed an exorcism. It took hours each day to air out and it was so horrible that we sometimes had to run to the corner store or the Wendy’s down the street to use their facilities. The other three ladies and I got so sick of it and we each very nicely and politely in turn asked him not to use the ladies room and each time, he very rudely responded that he would do whatever tf he liked because we didn’t own the building. So I got on the phone with the building manager, explained that there was a man who wouldn’t stop using the ladies room, I picked up two keys to the ladies room from the manager, made two more copies, and the four of us ladies kept the door locked during and after use after that. Ol boy never said a word about it, but he literally growled as he passed my desk for the rest of the time I worked there.

Always best if you were able to go to a fair or expo and get a handful of such cards. Once we were in high school we saved such pettiness for extreme cases and otherwise basically ignored more “minor” annoyances. Lol seeing the picture under the caption "my phone, my photos" reminded me of this one time I was kinda petty with a guy. Once I went out with a group of friends and took a bunch of pictures of us. That evening, one of the guys texted me asking me not to upload the pictures. I asked him why and he said he just didn't want some people to see them, but I knew he just didn't want to be seen with us/me. If he didn't want to be seen with me, then don't f*king come. Nobody's making you. So I blurred him out of all the pictures and uploaded them like that.

The ONLY times I have ever felt bad for not leaving my parking spot after getting in my car when someone wanted it was in college. Campus did not have enough parking on site and I carpooled, but my class got out about 45 minutes before my friend, so if I wasn’t grabbing food or studying, I would just nap in the car. Never failed that someone wanted my spot.
Also on the petty office signs, we only had one sign in my office when I started working there that said “do not write on this” so I wrote on the sign “why not?” And someone wrote back “because” and of course I had to ask “what power do you have?” To which I got the golden reply of “the power of because I said so.” And someone else said “that’s mean” so I drew a doodle of a man driving in a car screaming “POWER TRIP” out the window on the board right under the sign.

Why can't you aim? Why is there pee all down the side and on the floor? How did it get over here?!?!"
The worst thing I found tho, was women who just bled on anything and everything and left it for me to clean up. Blood on hand and bath towels. Full pads lying flat, faceup in the garbage. I don't need to see or smell that. Roll it up in the packaging like a normal person!

In my appartement building, they do petty post-it battles on the inside of the front door. I never participated but one of the conflict was that some people living on the 1st and second floor kept locking the front door, which means that people on the upper levels (no lift) have to go downstairs to open to delivery people. Delivery people ring ALL the bells, and just want one person to buzz them through. So some upper floors tenants would answer and then end up having to go down to open. And first floor lady who locked the door all the time also had a biiiiit of an online shopping issue so it was parcels EVERYDAY, and she was never home to receive them ! So they kept arguing with her through post-its on the door lol
My petty solution was to get my parcels delivered at a pick up point (less stressful and I get to go on a walk to pick them up) and to absolutely never answer when the doorbell rings :D
