He's actually one of the strongest pilots on the planet, and he is a freaking optional boss
When Dolmayan talks about "seeing the voices", it's not just him who brings it up. Ayre says it tons of time. It's probably most notable in the Ayre fight in the Fires ending, but you can see what looks like sparks jumping from coral particle to coral particle, as well as the coral particles blinking and letting out almost bell-like chimes. I think this is what is meant as "seeing the voices".
Great challenge run, though! I love Rokumonsen's build and character, and his AC is particularly fun to use.
Yeahhhh, I was torn on adding a note or something saying we were being too hard on Dolmayan but it kind of gets brought up during the fight with Walter so I figured I'd just let it play out. Not sure if it was just being in the moment of the fight mixed with talking with chat but idk how my brain just excluded those details but I appreciate you clarifying that!

Father Dolmayan is actually really good. All RLF use kikaku booster for some reason but he’s the only one with a melee so him being slow is off set by the ab to melee cancel

my general strat is full aggression with the Etsujin and Sampu with a few kicks in to break ACS i might use the missiles or the Majestic when ACS is not very built up since they generally are reloaded by the time i break it. but its proven to be an alright build ive enjoyed personally. made it and am using it for a faction cosplay run. obviously Liberation for this one. but ive got one for each major faction including allmind.
For a fight id just like to see something like attacking the fuel base. that was a mission i wasnt sure how this build would work on. but it shocked me with how well it handled that fight.

Her mom (Irie) has a black coat with hints of brown and her sister (Joanna) is like solid black. There were 2 others from the litter that were black and white then one dude who had basically a gray sweater of color before they turned solid black too. Craziest bunch of kittens I've ever seen lmao

God o just beat this guy last week and it took me days like I’m not kidding at all. Even then I was only saved by terminal armor, heck I only kept going after him because I was in too deep and am going for a full corp play through. But it was nice to see what his theming means and your story that you make for him it’s really nice 👍. Also did you know he only speaks in haiku
If you still intend on doing a run with submitted builds sometime, here is mine, apologies for ugly formatting, mobile RUclips can be stubborn. Head: Mind Alpha, Core: Alba, Arms: Basho, Legs: Nachtreiher, Booster: Alula, FCS: Abbot, Generator: Hokushi. For weapons, I have dual Coquillett pistols in hand, with the chainsaw on the left shoulder and 6-shot BML-G2 rockets on the right shoulder. Pulse Armor to top it off, with a Burnt Orange and white color combo. I found it really fun when I went through S-ranking all the missions, and I hope that if you do use it that you enjoy it, even if it is a more basic lightweight build.

Also I call my favorite build the "Fuckett we Duckett" which is very similar to this but laser shotgun rt shoulder and laser slicer for left so I think I'll adapt to this pretty quick and enjoy the playstyle!
Before watching the video, yes. Rokumonsen is pretty good even in PvP

I actually plan to try and do this deathless because I managed to beat the allmind route with him and I only 2 deaths. Unfortunately that footage was lost with all the issues my old computer had but he's one of my favorites to play and definitely on the list

Rokumonsen only killed me once though I was NG+ when I fought him, though strangely had more trouble with his arena fight. After watching this I kind of want to make a plasma thrower build though at this point I have made like 30 AC's (a few of them are pilots from the older titles). Also, I wonder if those whiffs with the plasma thrower has something to do with the recoil control on the arms though now after looking it up, the arms have decent recoil control so I don't know what would cause it to whiff other than just a bug or something to do with the FCS. Good video nonetheless 👍
There's some arena fights that I remember having to attemot a few times while I'd run them into the ground in the story so I totally get that and I'd definitely recommend it with tetrapod legs. The yoyo attacks don't force you out of hover and you can keep moving while you attack so the moments where they're just out of range are (usually) avoided. As for the tracking I really can't say. The fcs is also where my thought was initially but I never considered recoil, especially after the shotgun though idk if the arms have individual values for their values building up. I haven't played a full run with the thrower since the patch but I'm interested to see if they addressed that too or just the wall deflects and thank you as always for coming through! Hope you're feeling better!

I did attempt Kate and I'm gonna try it again but the first attempt was before the recent kick nerf which makes the wall I hit with the escort the strider mission even harder than it was before. Unless I figure something out with the laser dagger it's just a real pain in the ass to clear that mission but I think the rest will be more than doable. I might make an exception and allow her to use the different "mind" builds excluding iguazu's but we'll see.

My guess would be that those weird misses could be attributed to the hard-lock, since the trade-off for using it is that it lowers your hitrate. Vaati did an early test on it and it's a noticable difference.
Hm, yeah, I've seen a few videos covering it though usually you can see the reticle trailing behind and whatnot but I remember even looking back at the footage and seeing it turn red and be perfectly centered so I'm not 100% sure but I feel like it's relative to your AC's position but could be wrong
@@domomosh Something I only recently learned is that the plasma thrower actually has a shorter range on the second swing, as well as steps you back slightly! You see it pretty clearly on the Student Pilot AC fight going frame-by-frame, the first hits around 60m but you backstep all the way to 80 for the second, which I believe has a reach of around 65-70 as you hit Iguasu in the next mission at 68 to finish him off!
I guess that would make sense since most of the time the Hammer misses by hitting where the enemy was on the first hit. Does the Moonlight do the same thing though? Could easily just be a bug or a feature of the Hammer (i.e. It has its own reticle that is even slower than the FCS).

I actually really want to do a g1 run soon since he's one of my favorite characters and iirc he's the only user of the explosive launcher which I've yet to give a solid try. As a teaser I'll just say Anubis520 and I are waiting for the co-op mod to drop for him and another pilot's run
He better be able to beat anything, his AC is powered by weeb and Anime energy.
God it would be cool to have some other options for add-ons, like mixing Assault Boost and Assault Armor to make like Assault Rush - go flying around and attacking people like CEL 240.
FromSoft needs to let loose a little, have more fun and make this game open more to its full potential.
Going supernova would be interesting. Maybe at the cost of some of your own AP while it's active or some sort of recoil on contact. Definitely think it'd be a one time use like TA though
@domomosh yeah exactly! One time use and you would have to like HumanPlus that shit to unlock it or something (get that OP-Intensify comeback yo!) LOL OOORRR it no damage insta-staggers you for a brief moment due to the AC overload.
I like to think Ayre is more then a voice. Think of her as a little ember or light
The fact that she can "leave" you during the fires ending gives me reason to believe she's got some form of matter going on even if it's not normally visible. We were for sure being too hard on thumb and I think the moments where I mention that he's probably seeing the red around the screen like you do when Ayre's talking to you
@@domomosh probably. Although, I'm pretty sure Walter does say something like "I see them next to you." During our fight with then in the second ending.
Though, it would make sense Ayre's form would be that Red light we see when we first meet air. Just before the lightning sparks out from it

Yeah not my best Balteus fight. Idk what happened after "the waves intensified" but edit: it was a meh fight but after watching again it's not my worst choke and I'm just glad I pulled through in the end

Think the last thing I got into was when punisher and daredevil were doing their thing. Saw the clip of Murdock and Peter talking though so I do want to catch up but barely got time for things as is
As neat and fun the plasma whip is, I find it super inconsistent unless I am on the ground.
Now that you mention it does seem like it happened more when I was in the air. Maybe someone will do a deep dive on its mechanics in the future

@@theboredguy2107 I was trying Kate's (can't remember which is which) in first person and well the escort the strider was quite a wall so I'm gonna be restarting that one in the future. Don't think I'll do first person though because it doesn't feel as personal to each pilots AC when you can't see them but maybe I coukd do something where Kate has access to the different "mind" ac loadouts.

Don’t really care for what fight you use it, though Ibis is my personal favorite to fight against with it.
I’d like to add though that this is an old version of the AC. The modern one switches out the drone thingy for a Zimmerman and has a different FCS (the one with the most close range tracking)

And yeah I did a swinburne run and I keep developing love hate relationships with different parts and the stun baton is one of them. I do like the charged attack of it a lot though.
