Never heard of Hellofish but they look superb. No doubt you will enjoy doing the others including the 'slots' one. The subtitles can be a laugh a minute at times. One of the others puzzles was referred to as sting gray. I used to do the Wentworth ones but have stopped due to the expense. Have a great time at Worlds which is fast approaching. I shall be glued to my computer watching it all.
Thank you! And oh boys those subtitles… I used to rewrite them manually when I started RUclips 😃 But it takes 3x the video lenght and I also noticed that the automation gets them wrong for native speakers too. Nowadays I just glance over to fix biggest issues and then focus on puzzling 😅 I’m so nervous for the Worlds!
@@puzzlewithemilia Yes, it probably is nerve wracking entering what is now a rather large competition. All you can do is your best on the day, do a bit of deep breathing, relax your shoulders etc. You went last year so you know what happens at Worlds. Think about the fact that Alonso has had to organise this with 1183 participants! Last year there were 622 so this year nearly double. You love puzzling, enjoy the experience and be happy with however you do. 🥰
I loved the colorful cute pictures for these wooden puzzles! It was a good idea to include your husband to represent beginners. I've never done a wooden puzzle but seeing these cute little ones with the extra puzzle inside makes me want to give them a try! Most that I've seen have 200 or 500 pieces and are way too expensive for me. I hope these little ones are within my budget.
Thank for the comment 😊 I really wanted to have Daniel’s opinion because we are so different when it comes to puzzling. The puzzle-in-puzzle feature is truly amazing. 🤩
Great video, it was really relaxing and cozy to watch ☺️. I have also just tried Hellofish for the first time, and I'm very impressed with their puzzles. I especially love the puzzle in puzzle feature, it is so much fun and really makes the puzzles special 🤩. And I'm with you about the boxes, they are also very important for me, and these are really cute 😁
The beauty of additional filming when something doesn't end up making sense for the viewers in the video. Looks much better after fully finished with the puzzle inside. Thanks! :)
Hey, so glad you got a sponsor! Excellent! I've never tried a wooden puzzle made for adults. I used to love doing them when I was a very young child. Now I'm inspired to try one! Kiitos!
So happy to hear that. I really love these wooden puzzles, I just finished the rest three tonight. I’m a bit picky with collaborations and not the easiest to negotiate with but I’m happy we got this one done together and also to get some insights of how my viewers feel about collaborations 😊
The puzzles look really nice! I enjoy wooden puzzles every now and then, and I agree they are more for slower enjoyment, you can not speedrun a wooden puzzle so they look like a perfect addition to your collection! I was wondering if you can tell a bit more about the company that makes them? (If you know it ofcourse.) I see on the box they are from China I think? I dont want to buy from stores like Temu, Wish and Aliexpress for all the obvious reasons, (childlabour, toxics in their paint, the lack of control for their labour rights) and I noticed especially when it comes to wooden puzzles a lot of times different companies are basicly a dropshipper from Temu. Do you know if thats the case with this company?
Hi Nina! Thanks for the question and I’m happy to answer as I don’t want anyone to have the wrong image that I would promote something like that. 🙏🏾 As mentioned in the video and also in the box, Hellofish is a company in Taiwan. I’m not gonna get into politics between Taiwan and China but internationally Taiwan is recognised as an independent country so Taiwan is not part of China. Chinese is spoken in Taiwan which explains the brand text I guess your are referring to. 😊 Hellofish was founded in 2014 (that’s many many years before e.g. Temu even existed). Hellofish is both manufacturer and seller. They also have some resellers. Hank is their designer. I don’t know the staff or owners personally ofc but I get lots of collaboration requests and only approve trusted ones (as you said it right, for the obvious reasons). I also had an international agency working with the contract for this collaboration. 😊 Hellofish have been reviewed also by other puzzlers like Sarah some years ago. If you have more specific questions, I’m happy to help or give you the contact information of a right person to answer! 😄
@@puzzlewithemilia Oh I am so happy with your answer! 😃 I missed the part that they are from Taiwan and was looking at the brand text like you say, I can not tell the different Asian letters apart, so I am very happy to hear this. And it didnt seem likely to me that you would collaborate with a sketchy brand, especially since you are always investigating everything, just wanted to be sure. 😊 I took a look at their website and they really have some gorgeous puzzles! Thank you so much Emilia! 😃
Thank you for featuring our puzzle in your video!
We really enjoyed watching you and Daniel puzzling!💝
Thank YOU for featuring another puzzle in your puzzle 😄 I’m still amazed of that!

Glad you enjoyed it! The boxes are golden ✨
I loved the spinning frame in the end :D

Love the look of their puzzles! Funny note, my cats started answering Daniels wows haha
Haha that's so funny. Vili sends a high paw to your cats. And I'm sure you would absolutely love these puzzles!

Hello Emily how are you it’s nice to seeing you
Hello there! Happy to hear from you. :)
The Stand-up Maths channel has a neat video just out: "How can a jigsaw have two distinct solutions?"
Not sure if related!

Daniel is going to feel more comfortable in front of camera so keep going 🎉🎉
Yes maybe he will join again! 😊
