- Join me for a full day of thrifting in Branford, Connecticut! We'll visit four thrift stores that I haven't been to before, and then head home to check out my haul. I'll show you which items I'm keeping, which items I'm selling and how I plan to use my new finds in my home.
Here's the link to my ebay store if you'd like to check it out: www.ebay.com/str/worthingtonhome
That's is insane WOW, so jealous, kissing but wow you really hit jackpot today . Congratulations. Katie
Thank you so much! Somedays are luckier than others, but I'm always on the hunt for vintage and antiques!
Loved your beautiful home.So many beautiful things!
Thank you so much! I hope to do a full home tour sometime soon (once I clean the place and we finish up a few projects!)
So pleased for you to find new territory that seems darn good to me as well...thank you, Laura.
I'm glad you were there with me to appreciate the new (to us) stores!
I just found your video. You have great taste. Looking forward to your next video. Yes, New England is a great place to live.
I'm so glad you found me - welcome! I also appreciate you leaving me a comment!
I am originally from Fairfield County Connecticut and lived in the brandford Area for a bit Brings back happy memories. My husband have an I have resell antique business here in NC to supplement our income here as teachers. We go to country old barns, estate sales , church thrift stores ( plenty of those , cash only but great finds ) It is definitely different thrifting here in NC versus Connecticut. So glad I stumbled on your channel.
It sounds like you and your husband spend a lot of your time the way we do! It's such a fun business. I'm working all of the time, but I also feel like I'm never working because I love what I'm doing. Thanks for watching my video and leaving me a comment!
👋 Hi .This is in Brandford Connecticut??
I just ran across your channel . I am in East Haven I love thrifting I didn't know about the shops you went to .I definitely will check them out.❤
I'm so glad you found me! Welcome to the channel!
It is so much fun watching you thrift shopping. I share your excitement over your beautiful finds. The Limoge and Lenox pieces were fantastic. Another great episode!!!
Thank you so much! It baffles me that there isn't a very big demand for china right now, but I guess I have the benefit of very low prices as a result. Thanks for watching and leaving me a comment!
Thank you for sharing your thrifting day with us. Out of all the wonderful treasures, the smallbrooch and the delft earrings were definitely my favorites. But then again you. Always seem to find wonderful things
And Iris is so sweet looking.
Of course. Looks can be deceiving lol. Love your vlog za
Thank you so much! I was thrilled when I found out that the Delft earrings were half priced. Iris literally just broke a picture frame. But she is cute - mostly when she's sleeping. 😂😂😂
Love your picks!
Thank you so much!
The soup tureen, covered dishes were stunning. Enjoyed that store a lot. Also your cat is beautiful.
Thank you on all accounts! ❤❤
I'm glad your cats enjoy your thrifting too 😆
They like to get in on ALL the action!
Thanks for taking us along. Great comments on Savers and Good Will. I’ve been thrifting less than a year and have noticed the increased pricing at these stores. When I was vacationing on Hilton Head Island I found quite a few charity shops that had wonderful things at great prices. Would love to find these around my town.
Me too! As I find good stores, I'll definitely let you know. Of course, if you don't live in or near Connecticut, it's probably not that helpful!
I’ll have to stop by the shop. I live about 30 minutes away. 😊
It's well worth the trip! I've been meaning to go back.
The stores were wonderful! You found beautiful pieces. That tablecloth is so lovely! I used to frequent Goodwill but lately I just shop vintage/antique stores. If I'm going to pay higher prices I prefer their environment. Just saying.😊❤
Thank you! Yes, sometimes it's really a pleasure to shop in a more organized store.
Yes, I watch Chateau Diaries. I’m so sad about Lancelot’s death……..
Oh my gosh - I keep thinking about it! He was such a sweet little thing. So unexpected! I was glad to see that Stephanie felt well enough to post a new video today.
@@WorthingtonHome Me too!
Hi there, have you tried Stratford Antique Center on Honeypot Road , some booths are pricey but there are bargins to be found ! Also Flea Market at the Crossing In Plainville.... both in Connecticut.
I haven't been to the Stratford store in ages! I should definitely go again really soon. I'll also be sure to check out Flea Market at the Crossing. Thanks for the tips!
The Theodore Havilland Limoges is valuable.
It can be so difficult to find it in good condition - sometimes thrift stores are rough with their donations.
Love chateau diaries
It's the best, right????
I live in Brantford where this place locketed ?
