Enjoyed this video. So many useable & reasonable tips. I love that you are so “down to earth” & always eager to learn. I lol when you called yourself a “goof ball”; I use it frequently. 😂
Quick tip. For great deals try church or organization tag sales. They get donations from all over town and prices are usually cheap/reasonable. Try Notre Dame Tag Sale on the first Saturday of the month in the church basement. Route 17 / main street Durham, CT.
Thank you for all the great tips. Especially the ones about putting the items in your cart while you think about it, and also for checking the items for damages. I find that when I go back for something I saw someone else has snatched it up. When I find a wonderful item I am so excited that I forget to check for damages. I also shop at Savers for myself and gifts for friends. I am not a reseller. I was impressed with how you check for damages to ensure that you are selling something in your eBay store without damages. Good luck with your store.
Thank you so much for watching and leaving me a comment! There's NOTHING worse than putting something back on the shelf, then changing your mind, going back for it and finding that it's gone! It's also a bummer to bring home damaged items which I've done more times than I care to think about. I try to learn from my mistakes!
10:25 I’ve been seeing some interesting ice buckets lately & with summer around the corner they’ll be useful. 13:41 that’s a cute milk glass bowl & milk glass is making a big comeback.
Milk glass is so timeless and elegant! I have a few pieces that haven't sold for me yet, but sometimes it just takes a little time. I really like ice buckets. We have quite a few at my house!
How nice of you to make this video, Chris 😊 You have included great points to remember! I'm so glad you were able to go back to get the panda prints! And - crazy old lady syndrome 😅😅 I think many of us suffer from that lol. Have a wonderful day! ~ Jeri
I wish you would do more videos showing how you stage your finds and less time showing what you see in your thrift stores. I have seen a lot of items I would like to have but don’t have any way of buying them.
Why in the world would you wait until the end of the shopping experience to check each item for damages and decide whether or not it's worth the expense? By waiting until the end and putting things back in places where you didn't originally find them, you are just necessitating the need for the store to raise prices on their products for the rest of us. Very inconsiderate!
I check as I go, but also do a final check at the end to make absolute sure that everything is okay. Some damage can be quite subtle. For the video, I just show myself putting things back on the nearest shelf. After I film, everything goes back where I found it. I've actually said that before in some videos, but perhaps I didn't in this one.

Thank you so much for the tip! I'll definitely check them out!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for watching and empathizing with my crazy old lady syndrome! 😂😂
I recognized Worthington Ridge. So fun! I live near the steeple. I just know I'm gonna run into you one of these days. Lol
Small world! If you ever see me out and about, please say hello! I would love to meet you!
Hi Chris! That’s my Savers, perhaps I’ll run into you someday!
If you ever see me there, please say hello! I would absolutely love it!
Picked up some great finds! I have Sakura dished and mugs and they’re some of my fave! Question: Is that a real lit taper candle on your table?
Nooooooo. We don't light real candles right now. The cats would knock them over and burn our house down! 😂😂

I try to do some staging when I can, but sometimes I'm just buying for resale. I'll try to do more. Thanks for watching!
