The wallpaper is a great idea for wrapping paper. It’s a lot sturdier than regular wrapping paper too.

You are always so very inspiring! When I experience a problem with anything I bake I resort to sprinkling powdered sugar (confectioners sugar!) I had almost the same problem with my croissants once, so I filled them and sprinkled with the powdered sugar and they looked nice and tasted great! You always have the best ideas and your children are precious. ❤

Another lovely video. We had a similar mishap with our pantry. One of the shelves collapsed and jars of sauce, jams, vinegars, honey, olive oil etc went everywhere. It took weeks for the smell to disappear, even after washing the floors and walls multiple times. The thing that bothered me most was the waste of food.

I am watching this on my phone with batterie low. We’ve been without power and water for the last 30hrs, in the country side but with a wood burning stove and snow to melt ❤ candles for a little light. No wifi no more opportunity to charge the phone but we are together and enjoying what we have, baking and cooking, keeping the fire going all the while hoping for the water and power to return this evening. ❤

you could read the Narnia series with your kiddos! I just reread The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe yesterday and it was just as enjoyable as when I read it as a kid. I also enjoyed "The Snow Child" by Eowyn Ivey. It is based on a Russian folk tale ❄☃

If you like VINTAGE books The Thorn Birds was by far one of my favorite reads ever! I'm 62 and really just started reading on a regular basis about 15 years ago. I'm dexlexic (sp) so I read really slow! I think that's why I did not care for it when I was younger. My mother loved to read and since she passed I've taken her habit up! Anyway please get that book. It was written in 1977 by Colleen McCullough and they made a TV Series out of it in the early 80's. I have many other favorites and believe it or not I'm reading for the 1st time A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens written in 1843 I think.....that's what it says. Merry Christmas! Nancy from OHIO

However, I wanted to share one of my favorite books with you: Things We Couldn't Say by Diet Eman. It's a dramatic account of Christian resistance in Holland during world war II. Really good. We are also a homeschooling family and I've been bringing in books that I can read with my kids that tell about world war II - most importantly the Holocaust. One we are reading right now is Number the Stars by Lois Lowry - Really good.❤

I was wondering about the hair
I listened to Gay Girl Good God read by the author. She did a good job. I feel it’s better to read 10 good books and remember them, then to read 100 and not remember any of them. As I’ve gotten older I read less fiction.
