- Join me as I hunt for antique and vintage treasures at a huge thrift store in Middletown, Connecticut. I'll show you my finds and how I used them in my home. If you stay until the end, I'll share some fascinating information about the city of Middletown and the old factory building that houses Estate Treasures.

I’m from Durham! My late dad’s friend started the place. Been going for years. Love looking for things . Have many Shiny Brites and Swedish things from the 2nd floor. Furniture can be pricey. But loooove shopping there!
@@kathypalmer4330 glad you enjoyed the video.
Sounds like you've had some great finds! That's the best part about thrifting - you never know what you're going to come across!
Estate Treasures is truly the thrill of the hunt kinda place. Last time I was there I found a beautifuly etched Orfors Swedish Crystal signed vase for only $5. I've also found some great costume jewelry pieces.
I have a new video coming out this week with my newest finds from Estate Treasures. I did pretty well! You never know what you're going to find when out thrifting!
@@WorthingtonHomeI’m excited to see your new vid!!👏💗
You came up in my feed last night. Excited, as I too am in Connecticut. Thanks for sharing your adventures. I hope to check this thrift store out!
God bless you❤
I'm so glad you found me! We Connecticut thrifters have to stick together! Thanks for leaving me a comment!
I love the cradles I see in the chair room. I am like you, the glass gets me every time. I love old things. Thanks for the video.
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching and leaving me a comment!
You video just came up on my feed. I haven’t been to that store in a number of years. I didn’t thrift then. The “steamer” about 9:something, looks like a mangle. My mother had one and you can press clothes on a mangle. I don’t remember watching her and it looks complicated to me. I think they still sell them. Those stairs are crazy.
I'm so glad you found me - welcome to the channel! Thanks for letting me know that the steamer is actually a mangle (Doesn't the word "mangle" sound so dangerous? Yikes!) I'm sure our mothers knew how to do LOTS of things that we don't!
I picked up that brass horn and carried it around for awhile before I decided to leave it. The price was too high and it was in pretty bad condition. I did get a beautiful butler tray coffee table there in January for only $30. So yes, the prices are really random.
I'm glad it's not just me! It could be such an awesome place with a bit more thought and currating.
Dinner looked nice on your new plates. Thank you Chris.
Thank you! I absolutely love Limoges.
Thanks so much for the tutorial the building amazing ♥️
The dinner looked fab, Molto bene, salute! Love the platters.
Thank you! It was fun to use the new pieces.
Have you checked out Pandemonium in Deep River? Also in an old factory, right off Rt. 9 exit 7, I think (old exit 5-I can’t keep the new numbers straight). They rescue exotic animals from abuse/abandonment. It’s a fun thrift store for a good cause.
Yes, I love Pandemonium! I did a video about the store early this spring. Such a great place!
I so love Limoges, the pretty golden ribbons! It’s hard to find where I am. I have old pieces and I USE them, especially dessert dishes. Your table was beautiful!
Thank you! Old pieces are only fun if you actually use and enjoy them! I'm glad that you do!
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
❤❤❤
Was just there on Saturday 😂 didn’t get anything
That's so funny! I have often left there empty hand, but you never know!
have you tried Heck and Things in Berlin?
Yes! I had a very successful shopping trip there in the spring. I've been meaning to go back.
