I worked in a Suzuki dealership starting around '79 and we had a new RE5 that no one wanted. The goofy space age one. Eventually, someone bought it. I was an apprentice mechanic and never saw one come in. I don't think that I even saw one come to the shop. Why Suzuki ever made such oddball stuff is a mystery. Maybe it was the only category available in the Japanese monopoly.
28.45 Speedway bike is beautiful. The Australian rule book described a speedway bike as a "diamond frame, single cylinder 500cc, no brakes." Has advanced a bit since, no matter what the English tell you, speedway was invented in Australia. I'm trying to make a road bike out of a 70's Jawa frame I have. Will be more like a grasstrack bike as I need a swingarm & suspension.
@@bullpencycles Speedway is oval dirt track but circuit lengths are short unlike your flat track. There is a world championship GP series run by the FIM
the Indian at 11:28 has a VERY nice look, I love it. it needs a 7.5 X 9 rectangular front number plate spray painted gloss black. then display it on that rotational display stand at 25:58 in my living room under a giant antique chandelier. DO NOT TOUCH sign scotch taped to the number plate. us the whole dispenser of tape making it laminated, permanent on the number plate.
I want that $600 Yamaha so bad lol, and that RD350 sidecover was neat with the modified waterpump running off the oil pump gear, never seen that before , must of been running a 81-82 rd350lc top end on the aircooled bottom end so they rigged up a water pump I’m guessing

I try. Do you watch on a computer, phone or TV? It always sounds so quiet when I edit it on the computer, then its louder on the TV.
