I found the Warren Reid talk very interesting. I grew up in the same area and was doing the same things he was doing back then. I might have even known Warren and just don't remember. BTW, that silver and red 1974 YZ80, that was with the show bikes, was my first real motorcycle. I raced at Saddleback and Carlsbad with an RM125 and 250 with the occasional one off rides for Wheelsmith Maico in Fountain Valley. Thanks for this.

Dave that Montesa reminds me of my OSSA GP lll Phantom. I can’t remember if it was a 1977 or a 19771/2. Sounds a lot like it from what I can remember. Several very cool bikes bud. My 2 favorites the Montesa and the Bultaco 360. Good luck with your auction. Take care and stay safe.

Hello been watching your channel for a while and I finally subscribed. That Honda grom is awesome. I’m into 70s and 80s Japanese bikes but I learn about other bikes from here. Keep up the good work.

Youre at Buttermilk Falls Campground which Ed owned. We hunted and fished from that campground for 20 years and became good friends with fast Eddie and his good friend Art McMullen. My brother and I bought a 1921 Indian Scout from Eddie which is now in a museum in Rye, NY. Ed was a wonderful man. RIP Ed, you are missed.

Alfonso and Franco were cousins,Moto Morini started in 1937.The 3 1/2 Strada was 5 speed the 3 1/2 sport 6 speed,the wheels are Gremica,all 500 Strada and Sports had 3 disc brakes.

That greeves was mine I picked it up in upstate new York back in 2013. La Nik bought it from me in summer 22. If memory serves me well I think the motoplat ign has a very weak spark.wish I never sold it.

It must be fun finding parts. I had a Honda MB5 a 50cc motorcycle which had a one year run.

I always pay for an ebay purchase w/ a VISA credit card. Bought an '83 Triumph TSS on ebay. Had it shipped to me. It was a different TSS from what was in the ad (this one had an aftermarket muffler, different Amal carbs, and a single front brake and corresponding front fork) except the ad showed my TSS' VIN and frame number. Ebay nor the seller did nothing. Took my issue to VISA. after their investigation, VISA cancelled the purchase. The owner/seller had to pay for the shipping back to him.
