I am "" retired vollie"" ( volunteer firefighter).. I , too , am from the mid 70's - 80's like yourself. And , ironically, I was a member of a Bucks County department ( Warminster, Station 90). And after that, I was a member of Telford ( Station 75) and North Penn Goodwill ( Station 41) in Montgomery County.. And I still would like to be involved in the volunteer fire service, just not sure what to do. But also, enjoy your videos immensely..
It is always refreshing to see a company that does not push every new member to FF I and II due to the commissioners program. I think that mindset does more harm then good.
I actually live in bucks so it is really cool to see this station in one of your videos. I know most of Bucks stations take pride in the history, Trevose Fire department claims to the first tanker in the US, and many other stations have restored old apparatuses. I would love to see more from Bucks and I think you could get some interesting stuff. Love the videos man, keep it up.
Just to update New Hope does have their new tower/quint!! Its a red and black color scheme! Google street view shows it outside the station if you'd like to see it!!
Thank you For taking The Time to show The True life of Firefighters, and what a Cool Museum, I built one for our fallen hero's in My city, But no one comes to see it, I live in Worcester Ma. Home of The cold storage fire, where we lost 6 hero's. In all we have lost 9 ffs since 99, We Will Never Forget Our Hero's. I make sure of It. This video was Awesome and Now I'm a new sub. Stay Safe, Udizzy.
This is pretty cool. I was over here last August and am heading over there again within the next couple of days. I heard the fire siren inside that cupola go off last time so I might hear it again this time, that's why I'm bringing my scanner with me this time.
Great video as always. I have always liked the idea of a large truck like that for water rescues. It is a far more stable platform to load people onto then a small boat. It provides far more safety for everyone from floating debris and underwater hazards that can easily damage or flip a boat resulting in people ending up in the contaminated water and panicking.
I have a suggestion for another station cribs episode. The Limerick Fire Co in limerick PA. It’s a nice station with good trucks for a volunteer fire department.
somebody getting thermal and night vision mixed up haha first thing i noticed altho a thermal camera unit on that air boat would be absolutly amazing and useful as hack
This is the department where the fire chief pursued some guy in his chiefs car after some guy ran over there hose lines into hunterdon and the guy crashed somewhere in raritan township

@@HeroesNextDoor that all sounds good but with the laziness of government employees and the corruption so deeply rooted in the system those days will never come. Enjoy
Tyrone, if you are ever in our area we would love to host you for a tour. I understand how suspect people are these days about government, but this building was built on budget and on time, but it was not a government funded project. Our membership started saving for the new building around 1980, knowing that one day, we would need to expand. The station was totally paid for on the day it was completed, and there were no tax increases needed to accomplish this. As stated in the video, only about 1/3 of our operating budget is from taxes, and we have not increased the tax % in well over 10 years. The volunteer aspect saves the taxpayers well over $1.0M/year, and hopefully, we can continue to operate this way for a long time, maybe another 200 years!

Really great department, with a range of abilities to help their communities. And the museum and memorial garden is a nice touch.
Love these videos man very educational to me makes me stride to be a first responder
That was by far the best station and that lady knows her stuff could.listen to her all day. Hope your voice recovers soon.
Thanks. She was awesome. If anyone is in their area stop by she had a lot more to show.
I love station cribs ❤️

I don't think those are night vision but thermal binoculars. Thermal goes by the heat signature while night vision needs infrared light.
