British India: A Brief History

- A few years ago, I had a channel and didn't do a whole lot with it (didn't really have a direction then), there was a handful of content at best. In the process of creating this channel here, I consolidated some of my digital accounts and did some digital cleanup. I started this particular channel to document my reenacting journey, and the history that I'm interested in. While it's certainly not up to the standard of how I'd make content today, a few of the viewers enjoyed my video on the British Raj, so I opted to upload it here, so that they'd still have access to the video. In ww1 Gandhi encouraged people to fight for England and thought that India would gain privileges for fighting. In World War Two, he didn’t ask this of Indians this but still many joined.
I think many is quite the understatement. The Indian Army during the Second War, was the largest volunteer force ever. Those guys did the world proud, we all owe them a great debt.
