This 1963 Fantasy recording remained unreleased until 1991.

From 1967 to 1973, I spent more money on clothes and my three Lambrettas, than anything esle. All nighters, parties, weekends at Skeggy. Brilliant !!

How on Earth this didn’t get released when first recorded baffles me. Not only a perfect soul record but so commercial. Could easily have crossed over to the pop charts and been a big commercial success.
Im 33 and ive loved this sort of music since my parents played it when i was about 13. My Dad sent a request to Richard Searling for mine and my twin sister's 16th bday. I was embarrased at first but couldnt help falling for this beautiful, heartfelt music. 'Touch me, baby, I want you to see how warm I am.' Is there a more intimate, romantic line than that? It gets me every time...
