I remembered this in 2005. i was at my fifth grade in elementary and this song was really on the spot on Channel V`s ''The chosen one'' segment. After school I went home at 4:30 pm and used to watch this song in Channel V... It brings me good memories especially when my grandparents were still alive. So sad, they don`t make songs like this anymore. This was also the 1st song I heard from Miss Imbruglia. Hmmmm and after that I already declared myself as a fan of her.hahaha..

You must be kidding. If she was as successful as Rihanna she wouldn't be underrated. Natalie is truly underrated, the song you're referring to is her one and only global hit which was released 20 years ago. The other singles released from the same album obtained an average success but most importantly her following releases didn't receive a significant success internationally regardless of the fact they deserved to. Overall her success was local. My favorite works from her are White Lilies Island and Counting Down the days, they should have been no.1 records all over the world. Not to mention she further flopped with her last record. If that's not being underrated.

+JoojieXD Natalie Imbruglia is EXTREMELY underrated, her song "Beauty on the fire" should have been a massive hit, her song "Want" had everything to be succesful and even thought it was in Italy, was a flop outside, her last 2 studio albums BARELY made it into the few charts that it charted, she only had mild-success again in Europe with her 2005 song "Shiver", but in the world (and that's sad), she's remember as a ONE HIT WONDER, cause "Torn" is her only true hit.

The music video, inspired by the movie The Bourne Supremacy, started airing around February 2005. It was directed by Jake Nava who has also directed the music video for Britney Spears' hit, My Prerogative, and Holly Valance's State of Mind. It was filmed in Kyiv, Ukraine, during winter. A departure from Imbruglia's previous video styles, Shiver had a spy-themed, action-packed plot with car chases and switched identities.

well, strong flashbacks are sort of time travel! Maybe they are the key to the real thing, once the physics makes some progress in that field! The abilyity to relive the moment to the point of mentally removing yourself from your immediate surroundings is a precious thing, but it still doen't count as real time travel, since even the most vivid flashback do not constitute proof! This was always on MTV when I was 9, it was pretty huge back then in Italy and it became one of the songs of my childhood. I have very fond memories whenever I listen to it. I even bought the CD!
The 2000s for me was the extension of the 1990s. There were amazing come backs in this decade including Madonna's "Hang Up", Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill Acoustic", and this album by the ever gorgeous Natalie Imbruglia.
