This certainly does seemed skewed in the way of dallas. But i guess thats expected since she lives there and has the first hand experience.
Great video well done, I am my family are looking to move to Texas how do I get in contact with you?
All the contact info is in the description in the video. Also our website. www.socialagentgroup.com/
Good video. I just have one thing.
You gave the correct population for greater DFW at 7.8 million but you cut about 5K off Greater Houston. Greater Houston’s overall population is at 7.1 million, not 6.7 million.
Thanks DS, will have to go back and see my reference on the population number. There are a lot of versions of the truth apparently on population numbers since it’s a moving target.
She used two different sources for that information. The latest numbers from the Texas Demographic Center (Jan 2023) are DFW 8,060,538 and HOU 7,416,564. Both are massive metros

let get more partitures for the subject than your personal please thank you.
I can’t resist with the cold weather from nyc Houston vs Dallas whs better for me please
They are pretty moderate in the winters compared to NYC. Houston is farther South, so technically would be warmer usually in winter. Dallas is not as bad in the summer.
What’s better for electricians?
Trades are needed everywhere. Electricians seem to do well in the DFW metro.
Which city would be better for weatherman Dallas or Houston
Doesn’t seem our weathermen have a lot of luck giving accurate forecasts, weather is active in both cities. We don’t get hurricanes in Dallas, so that’s an extra element of the weather.
Curious on where you got your statistic on Dallas being the 4th largest city?
It’s the 4th largest metro my guy. It’s also DFW metro not just Dallas. Large cities focus on metro population and not city population when determining size and importance.
@@Aggie4life77 Ooooh okay I understand now. I was thinking city for city (Houston vs. Dallas) not metropolitan area is all. That makes more sense. I appreciate the clarification.
Still though, metro is metro and city is city. It is inaccurate and misleading info to say Dallas is the 4th largest city when it’s the 4th largest metro, and the name of the metro is Dallas/Ft. Worth. -Arlington. Or DFW which shows Dallas doesn’t do it by itself.
@@DS-br1wn Even with that said, Houston does not out do Dallas when it comes to amenities in the city proper. Houston is the largest city in Texas and that's where it ends.
It's the 4th largest metro but Dallas is the 9th largest city
PHOENIX VS DALLAS ??!!
Since I have lived over a decade in each, I can note that for a future video.
@@livingindfw ok I live in greater Los Angeles and have spent lots of time in dfw and phx and love both but something about dfw i really like but everyone there mad that california ppl moving there
If you read many of the comments on some of my videos, especially the ones about why Californians will hate living in Dallas. It’s not that they don’t like Californians moving to Texas. The fear is more that the Cali peeps would try to turn Texas into California. We have met many though where it is opposite. Some are more conservative than the average Texan and are trying to get away for the Liberal states. Also they are worried about people not from Texas running up real estate prices and traffic, are the 3 biggest complaints I hear from Texans.
@@GSM92that’s mostly an online thing. Most people don’t really care. You may get a joke here and there. Most of us aren’t from here either like myself. Been here 13 years though.
Dallas is far better than Phoenix. I live in Dallas now and I used to live in Phoenix. Dallas is much better overall.
Nice video, but it is clearly biased. So, to me, this is not that good of a reference.
Obviously bias towards Dallas. But thanks for the vid tho.
Thanks for watching and commenting Sam
Dallas needs Ft Worth just to compete with Houston
That’s like saying Houston needs the Woodlands and Katy to compete with Dallas.
@@livingindfw No because we are the center of our metro. Dallas shares it's metro with Ft. Worth and a host of suburbs that all sort of share the wealth. And a more accurate description of the Houston metro is the Houston/Galveston metropolitan area
THANK YOU..For saying that because that's exactly what Gave this place a slight edge.and she said Dallas Has more to do..lol..I guess that's why Houston gets twice the amount of Tourism than Dallas.
It costs more to live in Dallas for a reason 😄
which is least similar to los angeles? Looking for less diversity O_O
Both are pretty big melting pots. Lots of cultures coming together. Texas just has a different outlook than California overall.
Houston would remind you of Los Angeles
Don’t move to Dallas it sucks there’s no ocean and it’s hot as hell

@@livingindfw I’ll check it out for kicks!
Lol dallas is better. Not even close. It’s a reason it cost more
TRUCKERS PASSING THROUGH DALLAS VIA 75 STARING AT THE HIGH RISES
That isn't even a valid argument lol A good way to compare both is one focuses on the burbs and the other focuses more on urban living. Guess which is which
She’s bias 😂 houston definitely is the number one foodie city …
Stats wrong Dallas metro only have 600k more than Houston …. Dallas 8.1 million houston 7.6
She’s bias 😂 houston definitely is the number one foodie city … houston has lake Conroe and lake Livingston … she’s definitely pushing Dallas over Houston and there is no universal studios in DFW …
Check it out. Its not there yet, but coming.
