    Good video. I just have one thing.
    You gave the correct population for greater DFW at 7.8 million but you cut about 5K off Greater Houston. Greater Houston’s overall population is at 7.1 million, not 6.7 million.

    • @livingindfw
      @livingindfw  9 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks DS, will have to go back and see my reference on the population number. There are a lot of versions of the truth apparently on population numbers since it’s a moving target.

      They are pretty moderate in the winters compared to NYC. Houston is farther South, so technically would be warmer usually in winter. Dallas is not as bad in the summer.

    Which city would be better for weatherman Dallas or Houston

    • @livingindfw
      @livingindfw  2 месяца назад

      Doesn’t seem our weathermen have a lot of luck giving accurate forecasts, weather is active in both cities. We don’t get hurricanes in Dallas, so that’s an extra element of the weather.

    Curious on where you got your statistic on Dallas being the 4th largest city?

    • @Aggie4life77
      @Aggie4life77 10 месяцев назад +3

      It’s the 4th largest metro my guy. It’s also DFW metro not just Dallas. Large cities focus on metro population and not city population when determining size and importance.

      @donovanroberts476 9 месяцев назад

      @@Aggie4life77 Ooooh okay I understand now. I was thinking city for city (Houston vs. Dallas) not metropolitan area is all. That makes more sense. I appreciate the clarification.

    • @DS-br1wn
      @DS-br1wn 9 месяцев назад +2

      Still though, metro is metro and city is city. It is inaccurate and misleading info to say Dallas is the 4th largest city when it’s the 4th largest metro, and the name of the metro is Dallas/Ft. Worth. -Arlington. Or DFW which shows Dallas doesn’t do it by itself.

    • @livingindfw
      @livingindfw  10 месяцев назад

      If you read many of the comments on some of my videos, especially the ones about why Californians will hate living in Dallas. It’s not that they don’t like Californians moving to Texas. The fear is more that the Cali peeps would try to turn Texas into California. We have met many though where it is opposite. Some are more conservative than the average Texan and are trying to get away for the Liberal states. Also they are worried about people not from Texas running up real estate prices and traffic, are the 3 biggest complaints I hear from Texans.

      @@livingindfw No because we are the center of our metro. Dallas shares it's metro with Ft. Worth and a host of suburbs that all sort of share the wealth. And a more accurate description of the Houston metro is the Houston/Galveston metropolitan area
