There is a negative for every positive in this moving from California. Not only your property taxes are going up, your affordable housing is no longer, your traffic jams, lack of water, environmental issues...but... there are issues with schools, childcare, healthcare... on top of your traditions and values. Local Texans have been suing Elon Musk with his Space X and his Tesla factories. If you don't want them there... then raise the corporate taxes like California did.

If you move to the rio grande valley - is far more affordable, next to Mexico and in the border airport flights are cheap

Omg😱This lady is like super bias I mean I get the whole straying people away from Houston And railing them into the DFW metroplex bcuz she needs the commissions But come on now let’s not go to kidding ourselves,Bcuz everyone knows Houston is the more superior city in just abt every way possible its a well known fact, However she’ll praise Dallas then either try to downplay Houston’s pros or make it seem like Dallas is up to par w/ Houston in some way When tht couldn’t be any further from the truth Like for instance,The dark swampy water lakes she’s bragging abt in Dallas which is quite risible && humorous to me tht she not only said it w/ a straight face But she was actually dead serious🤣People take it from me an actual Native of Texas if you want beautiful pristine lakes then you won’t find them anyway near Dallas or the DFW metroplex you’ll have to go to Austin cuz there you’ll not only find great lakes but also stunning views of the city as well ,So my recommendation would be lake Travis,And as far as the food in Dallas and its surrounding areas everyone tht has come into Texas to visit has said the same exact thing Dallas food is mid to none And Houston’s food is up to par w/ NYC Chicago And Los Angeles especially as far as diversity goes,And entertainment wise all I’m going to say abt tht is celebrities such as NBA youngboy, Rick Ross,drake,James harden 50 cent, the list goes on hasn’t made or called Houston their home for nothing The new and improved L.A. of the south (LOL)And Im srry But how many well known celebrities has made Dallas their home? I’ll wait🥱And specking of L.A. it’s funny tht you should compare those ice cold fecal contaminated beaches in Cali to tht of Galveston as if Cali has the best beaches in America when thts just simply not the case bcuz I’ll prefer much warmer temperature beaches tht could only be found in Florida Hawaii or even San Juan Puerto Rico Or if thts to far we still have the most beautiful white sand pristine water lagoon Texas has to offer tht being located none other then right here in the great city of Houston known as lago mars A piece of tropical island illusion😎🏝️🍸

Mesquite also has the original highway Dallas first had. The highway that goes through fair park is military. Same street that goes from the newly built suburbs to downtown, never have to take the highway and deal with traffic.

I lived in the Fort Worth area for 20+ years what you’re describing with the weather patterns are normal and we are in hurricane alley and tornado alley in that area so it’s not stopping anytime soon. We relocated to mid central az 9 years ago. Similar weather here too. we hardly get rain except during monsoon season in the summer but this year we have had I can’t count how many storms and I can tell you that the air traffic over us likely has something to do with that because growing up didn’t see contrails or whatever it is like we do today and we didn’t have these strange weather patterns either. Traffic is 💩 everyone from commifornia are relocating here too.

Gotta say, i was a bit worried when i clicked on the video because i was worried my dreams of moving to Dallas after i graduate college were gonna be ruined, but not at all!! The concerns you mentioned are actually not that bad to me since its exactly what i go through in my lovely state of Missouri 😂😂 I lean more towards the liberal side, but like i said, i live in MO and its pretty red. Even so, im not that political to begin with so a state being red does not worry me. The weather you described sounds exactly like MO as well, and although its a bit sad I wont be getting better weather, atleast I have experience in it, haha. Nonetheless, amazing video!
