You have the top 3 spot on. Quebec and The Mollusk are masterpieces, while CaC has some of the most nostalgic moments for me personally. Ween were great. When I think of the 90s and early 00s, I can't help but put Ween somewhere in the sountrack.
Ween is incredibly underrated. Got into them during Covid and their music seriously brightened what was a really dark time for me. I’ve listened to their entire discography and there truly isn’t a bad Ween record. The Mollusk, Chocolate and Cheese, and Quebec are the three undisputed champs in their discography imo. I’d consider giving all three of those 10/10 ratings.
Billy, as someone who's been a Ween fan since (I'm assuming) before you were born, I don't agree with your overall ranking, though my #1 is the same as yours. (But I have "White Pepper" as #2, so …) Regardless of that, you obviously put a lot of thought into this, and a lot of work in the editing process, and I greatly respect that. Kudos! But seriously, listen to "Stay Forever" again. That's my second-favorite Ween song, after "Ocean Man."
White pepper was to me, ween proving they can be more than a novelty act by showing there most beautiful elements in the bands music, while still being ween, it is more experimental in the fact that ween could have blown that type of album concept considering what kind of band they are, but they pulled it off so perfectly, I mean imagine if weird al made a standard rock album? Ween pulled it off amazingly, and that is why it's amazing
While I don't agree entirely with your list, I'm very impressed with your review and how you gave good reason and detail for all your opinions. The beauty of Ween is each individual has their own take on their albums (for example, quebec wouldn't make my top 5, but I prefer it to pretty much any other bands albums lol). Their fans (flam) are intensely passionate and loyal to most of their Music and the community. I implore you to hear me out regarding Guava and Pod, though: I understand they can appear unlistenable to most people, but the beauty is knowing these songs well enough and THEN experiencing them live. Songs from 'the Pod' like 'Frank', 'She Fucks Me' and 'Laura' are absolutely untouchable live. Then from 'Pure Guava', 'Tender Situation' is an emotional meltdown at times and nothing is more fun than 'Big Jilm.' Even 'Touch My Tooter' is great to watch live.
The Pod is the top Ween album for me - to me it is the quintessential showcase of what makes Ween special which is of course brownness. I get that lo-fi production isn't for everyone but, as far as that angle goes, a lot of the songs on The Pod are actually really fleshed out musically and conceptually and even catchy. Once I got over the hurdle of normalising the harsh and sickly aesthetic it became an endlessly enjoyable source of creativity and kickassedness. I will admit that Jammy Pac's only real merit as an opener is scaring off new listeners from even giving track 2 a chance because it's just so deliberately terrible but you know what I respect it for that. Of course papa Mollusk is a close second, he's like the mature version of the Pod with a beard and a sailor uniform. He couldn't ever have been so cool if he didn't go through his trailblazing punk phase in his youth though.
Now I’m 55, “White Pepper” has become the new favorite for me. Its the best songwriting - for sure. It seems some rank “White Pepper” high and some low. Interesting. I Still like some of early crazy stuff as a collection. They have something for everyone. I consider them the Beatles of Pennsylvania.

Im from missouri and my uncle introduced me to ween at a young age, i liked their wierd funny songs, but the more i dug into the albums later in life i realized how full of meaning and poetic the lyrics tend to be even when they are absurd.
Videos like this are a perfect example of why it doesn't matter whether you agree with the list or not, it's all about the heart and delivery of everything else. If this guy was annoying and arrogant, I'd be somewhat angry that he put White Pepper at the bottom, but that's not the case because he clearly displays an understanding of the band's discography and justifies his opinion properly. 9. La Cucaracha - By no means a bad album - in fact, it's an above-average album, but it's just last for me. Ending their discography with the lyric "The wife and I thank you very much" is nice to me because it shows the development from "You fucked up, you bitch". This is still a really good album. 8.5/10 8. The Pod - I feel terrible about putting this one so low, but all their other albums are so good. This one is a little hard to listen to some times because of the brownness. My favorite song on here might be opener Strap On That Jammy Pac. 9/10 7. Pure Guava - A little bloated, but it's still a fun and really enjoyable listen. Push Th' Little Daisies might be my favorite, but I don't know. 9/10 6. 12 Golden Country Greats - I'm not the biggest fan of country music, so I was surprised by how much I liked this album. My favorite song is Piss Up A Rope. 9/10 5. GodWeenSatan: The Oneness - Could've been higher, but like Ween's first few albums, I just think it's a little too long. Don't Laugh I Love You is nice. 9/10 4. Chocolate and Cheese - The first god-tier Ween album imo. Take Me Away is so extremely underrated. And everybody knows how awesome Roses Are Free is. 10/10 3. Quebec - One that has definitely grown on me overtime. The Argus just might be Ween's best song. This album is so therapeutic and lovely. 10/10 2. White Pepper - I know it's one of their more polarizing albums, but I always have fun listening to this album. It's just so pretty and slick. Exactly Where I'm At is so underrated. 10/10 1. The Mollusk - Easily a masterpiece. Every song on here is great, but my favorite song on here is probably the title track. 10/10 One of my favorite bands

I was really anticipating "12 Golden Country Greats" but did not anticipate it was be a legitimate country album ( never been a big fan of country). Did not care for La Cucarocha.
My list 9. 12 Golden 8. White Pepper 7. La Cucaracha 6. Quebec 5. The Mollusk 4. The Pod 3. Pure Quava (Has My 2 favorite ween tracks on it) 2. Chocolate And Cheese 1. GODWEENSATAN
10: 12 Golden Country Greats 9: GodWeenSatan 8: La Cucaracha 7: The Pod 6: Pure Guava 5: White Pepper 4: Chocolate and Cheese 3: Shinola Vol. 1 2: Quebec 1: The Mollusk Shinola is up really high because of the beautiful vocals of Someday and Did You See Me and the great beat and tempo of Monique the Freak and Gabrielle.

My wife surprised me with tickets to see WEEN when they performed in Miami back around 2018. After the show, we hung out sharing a smoke with some other folks who had attended. I yelled out to their bus that my son would ask for a signature if he could speak and/or knew who they were. They gave my wife a WEEN head, constructed of a circular saw blade with eyes and teeth welded on. The bassist also signed an old Spongebob shirt I found at a goodwill, "Spongebob Rebel Pants"

4: Pure Guava (9.8/10)
3: The Mollusk (10/10)
2: GodWeenSatan (10/10)
1: The Pod (10/10)
My favorite band of all time.
really dude I am insane.
The absolute mad lad
where the shit from shinola at though
This mf living inside the pod
Pure guava is the only ween album I've heard. And I love it. So it's 1 on my list!!! My opinion. So there!!!
(But I have "White Pepper" as #2, so …)
Regardless of that, you obviously put a lot of thought into this, and a lot of work in the editing process, and I greatly respect that.
Ween pulled it off amazingly, and that is why it's amazing
really dude Funnily enough, GodWeenSatan was what REALLY got me into Ween.
Stay together sucks and how long you've been listening to ween gives you no merit
@@colinhoban8660 Oh, no! Someone disagrees with me! I'm shamed!
I know this is epic sarcasm but if your favorite ween song is stay together you should feel ashamed.
I implore you to hear me out regarding Guava and Pod, though:
I understand they can appear unlistenable to most people, but the beauty is knowing these songs well enough and THEN experiencing them live.
I think he re-evaluate white pepper more, that would be in my top 3

Ween is a great band still remember the first time I heard Pure Guava
You gotta admit tho exactly where I'm at is a banger
And ice castles
Don't forget stay forever! Extremely chill one
And stroker ace
Dude *even if you don't* agree there's another one that is as much of a banger
@@joaovictor3312 Falling Out makes me gay
"I Don't Want It" is my favorite track on Quebec, mainly due to the ending guitar solo. The song was already sad enough, but when that feedback sounds and Deaner starts playing, it's like getting punched in the gut.
It’s one of his best guitar solos, the way his guitar starts feeding back going in is just so great.
Gener plays that solo
This is all I’ve ever wanted man. Best band ever!!!
10. La Cucaracha
9. Shinola Vol 1
8. White Pepper
7. The Mollusk
6. Pure Guava
5. Quebec
4. God Ween Satan
3. 12 Golden Country Greatz
2. Chocolate and Cheese
1. The Pod
I'd put demos and live albums on here, but that might be a tad long.
Also, I can't believe you talked about Quebec without mentioning The Argus.
viikstinnian pretty much the same ranking for me
So far o have only listened all the way through to the ones I have
6. God ween Satan (I only have the live version so this is somewhat inacurate)
5. White pepper
4. La cucaracha
3. Twelve golden country greats
2. The mollusk
1. Quebec
@@sinjinvancleef2708 Check out Shinola next. It's seriously a solid record
This is all types of fucked up
As long as la cucaracha is the worst
I listened to the pod for the first time on lsd, and it was a trip!!! I'm so glad I got to see them twice. one year on Halloween. They came out in chicken costumes. one of my favorite bands of all time. I'm a 35 year old man and I've heard a lot of music in my life, he'll it is my life, ween has done it all. They mimic any band if they wanted to its too hard for me to pick a favorite whatever album is playing is my favorite. Love them and all the fans
No trip is complete without The Pod. :)
@donnawhite3909 well put
"Piss Up a Rope" was the first Ween song I've ever heard. I've been a fan ever since.
No way "La Cucaracha" is better than "The Pod."
Great video, mang. Stay Brown.
The mollusk is for sure my favorite album from Ween, although I still haven't listened to all of their discography.
Pollo Asado apparently was the first Ween song my dad heard, and I wouldn't know what ween was without him.
Great video, here's my list atm, changes all the time.
10. La Cucaracha
9. GodWeenSatan: The Oneness
8. 12 Golden Country Greats

8. 12 golden country greats
9. la cucaracha
you could have at least Mentioned 'object' on la cucaracha smh literally the best song on that album by far
Pure guava and the pod are way too low mr cobbs
My top album is Quebec . Also it’s a great album when partaking in psychedelics. Transdermal celebration in particular is perfect for such occasions
12 golden country greats is a reference to Throbbing Gristle's 20 jazz funk greats.
Except the album is a country album. Throbbing Gristle album is not a jazz funk album.
Lost me at White Pepper
Hahahahhah
Birthday Boy will always be my favorite Track by them 🙌🏻👹
Transdermal Celebration is one of my favorite songs period.
Fuckin' THANK YOU
Big Fat Fuck is seriously a contender for one of my favorite songs of all time. Just the way you enunciate "Fuck" made your succinct synopsis of the song so much better
The Pod is definitely one of the best things I have ever listened to. Brown = gold
10: La Cucaracha
9: 12 Golden Country Greats
8: Shinola Vol. 1
7: White Pepper
6: GodWeenSatan
5: The Pod
4: Pure Guava
3: Chocolate and Cheese
2: The Mollusk
1: Quebec
Way better list than the video
I would switch Quebec with the mollusk, and I would putt Chocolate and Cheese at the number 2 spot.
I love you
Pure guava was my first WEEn experience on cassette tape in Jr. high. I've seen them 3 times live and was in a WEEN tribute called Boognish Rising.
The Pod is a masterpiece. I don’t know why so many people rate it so low.
12 golden country greats is technically the cleanest album, as far with its instrumentation goes
It's def my fave
The Pod is the best album ever recorded.
Ween is literally my favorite band of all time
Same I've been obsessed for years
i was randomly recommended your Creep Autofill video the other day and subscribed, and here you are making a worst to best on one of my favorite bands of all time. i knew it was a good idea to sub to you. a man of taste!
9. La Cucaracha - By no means a bad album - in fact, it's an above-average album, but it's just last for me. Ending their discography with the lyric "The wife and I thank you very much" is nice to me because it shows the development from "You fucked up, you bitch". This is still a really good album. 8.5/10
8. The Pod - I feel terrible about putting this one so low, but all their other albums are so good. This one is a little hard to listen to some times because of the brownness. My favorite song on here might be opener Strap On That Jammy Pac. 9/10
7. Pure Guava - A little bloated, but it's still a fun and really enjoyable listen. Push Th' Little Daisies might be my favorite, but I don't know. 9/10
6. 12 Golden Country Greats - I'm not the biggest fan of country music, so I was surprised by how much I liked this album. My favorite song is Piss Up A Rope. 9/10
5. GodWeenSatan: The Oneness - Could've been higher, but like Ween's first few albums, I just think it's a little too long. Don't Laugh I Love You is nice. 9/10
4. Chocolate and Cheese - The first god-tier Ween album imo. Take Me Away is so extremely underrated. And everybody knows how awesome Roses Are Free is. 10/10
3. Quebec - One that has definitely grown on me overtime. The Argus just might be Ween's best song. This album is so therapeutic and lovely. 10/10
2. White Pepper - I know it's one of their more polarizing albums, but I always have fun listening to this album. It's just so pretty and slick. Exactly Where I'm At is so underrated. 10/10
1. The Mollusk - Easily a masterpiece. Every song on here is great, but my favorite song on here is probably the title track. 10/10
One of my favorite bands
pure guava will always be number one man
I've wanted to get into ween for so long and this video introduced me to Bumblebee and I think that's the song that really made me want to start listening to them and now they're all I listen too and they're my favorite band so thanks for making this fucking video
And now you have a ween pfp
Glad you made it
I really love this series, i enjoy listening to your thoughts on bands, it honestly makes me more curious to listen to them
if you are taking requests you should do They Might Be Giants or maybe Modest Mouse!
Modest mouse for sure needs to happen!
surprised pod and guava are so low but great to see more love towards 12gcg and la cuc
My favorite Ween albums:
1. Chocolate and Cheese
2. The Mollusk
3. Pure Guava
4. White Pepper
5. God Ween Satan.
Was not a big fan of "The Pod" when it was re-released in 95. Quebec was OK. I was really anticipating "12 Golden Country Greats" but did not anticipate it was be a legitimate country album ( never been a big fan of country). Did not care for La Cucarocha.
My list
9. 12 Golden
8. White Pepper
7. La Cucaracha
6. Quebec
5. The Mollusk
4. The Pod
3. Pure Quava (Has My 2 favorite ween tracks on it)
2. Chocolate And Cheese
1. GODWEENSATAN
U are under rating Quebec
Larry Digger I mean I like 5,4,3,2, and 1 more plus this is just my favorites so you don't have to agree.
I remember listening to Freedom of 76 for the first time and it was like getting straight serotonin
Quebec should be number 1 and that's about all I have to say about that
pure guava and the pod slander is featured here
nice profile pic
Whats the song at 0:17 i really like the little bit of it that i heard
it's called "the final alarm" but there is no studio recording of it. they only do it live
Worst to best, and starts with White Pepper, their all time best or at least runner up
Oooooooooooooookay then
White pepper isnt in the top 5 but okay
@@arizonainacan8594 the 1 spot is always a flip of a coin between Quebec and Chocolate and Cheese for me

6: Pure Guava

3: Shinola Vol. 1
2: Quebec
1: The Mollusk
Shinola is up really high because of the beautiful vocals of Someday and Did You See Me and the great beat and tempo of Monique the Freak and Gabrielle.
Monique the Freak is a-tier Ween, can't believe that it never made it onto a proper album...
THAnk you shinola is so underrated by everyone
Chopped Cabbage your ranking sucks
Same top 5 lol. Shinola is awesome
You're one of those people who just hates all country music by default. Thats sad, for you. 12 golden is one of their best.
With My Own Bare Hands is one of the greatest metal songs ever written!
I've been waiting for so long. It's here
This man frowns upon the brown and is not a disciple.
Wow you're really just gonna leave off the Ceasar demos like that huh
They're demos that's why
I absolutely love the demos of Quebec
Hey Billy, just wanted to let you know that their song Israel is just a Hebrew prayer translated. It's said by mourners during the end of prayer services. Personally I'm not sure how it relates to Israel (the country) but I figured you should know
WE NEED NEEW EP BECAUSE WEEN WONT MAKE NEW ALBUMS
Advise buddy get lots tungsten filament dht tubes and transformers in your replay chain and cure your audiophile sickness. rip sakuma san and enjoy music again.
I get your ranking methodology here... but Pure Guava is a friggen masterpiece.
Agreed 110%! Pure Guava was my intro to Ween and it blew my mind!
Your list is hella weird, Cobby. Give white pepper a graduated listen. Lacucaracha sucks
Stop crying
i think i came before i even watched the vid bro like damn
White Pepper is severely underrated.
Can you the swans worst to best? Please?
Fantano would def put To Be Kind at top we already know that
If I understood a listener well enough I could find a WEEN song they would be blown away by if they had never heard WEEN before btw La Cuckaracha is awesome
My wife surprised me with tickets to see WEEN when they performed in Miami back around 2018. I was so happily surprised when we arrived to find the venue to be a relatively small roadhouse theatre; I was expecting a a mega coliseum.
My ranking:
10- God Ween Satan: The Oneness
9- Shinola (vol. 1)
8- The Pod
7- Pure Guava
6- La Cucaracha
5- 12 Golden Country Greats
4- Chocolate and Cheese
3- White Pepper
2- Quebec
1- The Mollusk
I disagree with some of your placements here but I completely agree that the Mollusk is the best album they have ever put out.
My personal top 7
1:God Ween Satan
2: Pure Guava
3: The Mollusk
4: Chocolate and cheese
5: The Pod
6: Quebec
7: White Pepper
