They’re BOTH really down to earth. I hung out with Mickey and Aaron back in 02-03’ cause they used to come to Athens, GA which is a big music town (REM, B-52’s, Widespread Panic, etc all discovered in Athens) there’s a venue called “the 40 watt” which was perfect size for them back then (before their shows started reeking of patchouly oil) and they would just park their tour bus there for days, so me and a friend got of half onion of Dank (pot was still very much illegal everywhere) and We ended up smoking half the satchel and having a DEEP discussion of The Allman Bros. And how Dickey Betts is a legend on the guit-fiddle (redneck for guitar). True story! We didn’t have digital cameras in our pockets, so back then you just asked for autographs. They even let me come back that next morning before they went up the coast and Deaner (Mickey. The guy in the video) signed my 94’ Stratocaster. That was beautiful. Nice roundabout Put the Coke on My Dick, Bananas and Blow, and Tick references. I tried the aforementioned pick me up remedy as an alternative to opiates one day and ended up with a daily IV habit for two years. Would not recommend. Lyme Disease, whatever it really is, is a terrible affliction. My poor pup got it during our God forsaken Arkansas experience. Had a landscape business there for a few years, and in the months that weren't winter, it was common to pick upwards of 10 ticks off of our bodies on a daily basis. Anyway, I do hope you are feeling better!

It’s true your mind can choose anything. When you’re in a bad cycle you’re choosing to be in it. You can’t control the bad thoughts but you can control hanging onto them and exercising them in your head over and over and choosing to be in a chronic bad state and cycle. So when the bad thoughts and feelings come just let them do their thing and then choose to not let them take you over. We can choose our habits and cycles that makes temporary pain into chronic pain . Temporary pain can’t be avoided
@@chichifroglegsboognish1434 The book "Letting Go" by Hawkins helped me understand that. But I think it's obvious by just observing experientially or other people. I know a woman who has chronic bad thoughts about everything and it's sad and aggravating to watch. I think the important aspect of this knowledge is knowing that negative thoughts and feelings can't be avoided, no matter if you are a saint. The choice is letting them take you over. So it's not all about positive thinking, it's just about not falling into negative thinking. Which I think is a much easier thing to conceptualize instead of thinking you have to be positive all the time.

Glad to see you alive dean ween. Good message. God bless You. 🤠
Man Mickey, er Dean, you're a good dude.😊👍 Thanks for taking the time to take the time brother mang! Pretty kick butt to hear you give some upward advice to folks, in these days a lot of people need some! (Btw folks this guy offered to marry my wife and I! And let me tell you I WISH still to this day I coulda' made that happen! Maybe we'll do a vow renewal & I can surprise my beautiful wife with a visit from one of my all time favorite guitarists/musicians/avid Fishermen! 🤟😎🤟)
This is so great. Sending a healing BOOGNISH your way. 🖤
That’s a nice message from Paul Schrader.
it's hippie Brick Top
The Deaner pulls thru with the nugget I needed to hear on the day we bury my cousins 8 yr old daughter. Luv ya mate. Ur brother from the hemisphere below.
I'll always appreciate that tour poster Ween put out in early 2021 for their Capitol Theater show in Port Chester NY. It was George Washington and Abraham Lincoln as dead ghouls. It let me know someone else knew about the scam going on at that time.
felt like yesterday watching a local broadcast station called "the box". people would call in and request music videos. Push th' little daisies played frequently on it and I enjoyed every second of it. After all these years, I regret never fully exploring Ween's full body of work until a few years ago.
The box got me in trouble as a kid . Spent a lot of dough on that channel lol
...play "House of Douchebaggery" Dean!!
He’s like that SNL dude who had his career destroyed for being too funny!!
I got a stone in my bladder and a crack in me head got mold in my ears, but I ain’t dead yet
Cancer in me nut sac
team, Frank Zappa's 200 Motel's is on Prime, deft. watch that....also love your honesty, i suggest checking out some Col. Bruce Hampton interviews, and try to bring into your life some of his "being" also love your solo stuff too seen 2 different tours !! be well, stay brown.
It's cool how you got this out of Deaner.
Jesus, how is New Hope. Dean Ween. Push the little Daisies and let em come up. I love you. L'chaim from Jerusalem. Currently I'm in Hollywood putting out fires. You are a miracle from God, Dean.
I'll teach you some Aramaic. Schlama means peace. Malkuth means Heaven. Hubba means love. You embody all 3.
Love the Alembic. Saw the first shows you played it. Hopefully Will hooked you up.
Deaner said “future-tripping”
I wonder if he’s a fan of Hamish Patterson High-Frequency Tribe, I know that Hamish is a fan of Ween
Bring Ween back to Adelaide, that'll pick me up!!!! Saw you guys play at the Gov, awesome show.
In life it's important that you Treat yourself, and never cheat yourself
Dean says he’s not a doctor? But he is. He’s Dr Rock!
Just listened to Dr Rock
It’s true your mind can choose anything. When you’re in a bad cycle you’re choosing to be in it. You can’t control the bad thoughts but you can control hanging onto them and exercising them in your head over and over and choosing to be in a chronic bad state and cycle. So when the bad thoughts and feelings come just let them do their thing and then choose to not let them take you over. We can choose our habits and cycles that makes temporary pain into chronic pain . Temporary pain can’t be avoided
I eventually got there. It's true
Deaner is a miracle man
Thanks, Dr. Brule!
Sometimes the things that give you pleasure can hurt you. Like candy.

Be smart, avoid neuroticism connect with nature, standard shamanic advice...
Hey mister Ween, if you're anywhere near the Poconos, and know a good drummer bring come my studio we'll jam out. Mitakuye Oyasin... additionally I think you're eating a little bit too many carbs or maybe drinking a little too much, or perhaps you're on psych meds... or maybe you're not drinking really good clean water at all... hard to diagnose things when not in person.
It is not uncommon for my fellow Shaman/ songwriters to reach out and try to help others when they actually might need some support..🥰
2:22 long we love Deaner
