I feel so disappointed now that i see this video and these comments. I always thought Raditude was top 10 for Weezer. Not better than Pinkerton, Blue, Green, Maladroit, EWBAIT, White, and Make Believe, but I always thought it was better than Hurley, Red, Pacific Daydream etc. Especially with the song “Can’t stop partying”. Thats always been one of my favorite Weezer songs overall
I’m pretty sure No One Else was intentionally sexist. Like he wrote it from the point of view of a sexist loser, then immediately followed it with The World Has Turned and Left Me Here, about a dude whose girlfriend ditched him.
Pinkerton is sincere, but It's definitely also a joke. That's the strongest part of the album for me, amusing but depressing ideas being presented with honesty
MrTheon I don’t really think Pinkerton is a joke. Like obviously it has funny songs, but songs like Across the Sea and Butterfly are just Rivers spilling his guts without playing a character, whereas in all of Blue Album he’s distancing himself through a character.

When I first saw "Can't Stop Partying" on the Raditude play list I was excited. Then absolutely hated how they had altered it for the Album. The original demo, which you can hear on Rivers' Alone II album, has a much more somber tone and comes off as more of a criticism of the rock star lifestyle. @@Gluu4 Why does it trigger anxiety? Did you have a traumatic event happen when it was playing? Or do the lyrics just make you nervous for your future, because believe me when I say that it’s the latter for me.
I got really worried we were getting into the top of the list and we hadn't seen The Black Album and then I realized the Black Album hadn't been released yet.
The White Album will always have a special place for me. I remember I was going to see Panic! At The Disco and when I bought the tickets, I saw that Weezer was performing with them. I had no clue who they were at that time until I asked my parents and then I realized I knew many of their songs that were on the radio. The White Album was my first Weezer album and before I listened to that, I didn’t even consider listening to that. This album blew me away and made me the huge fan I am today. I absolutely love the Blue Album and Pinkerton and really don’t hate any of their albums. I do think the worst is the Black Album because I like the sound of Pacific Daydream better.
I know this comment is 3 years old but this is literally how I got into Weezer. I saw them with Panic in Oklahoma City during 2016, it’s crazy how similar this comment was to my life. The White Album was the first one I fully listened to, and I had bought it on a CD display for their new album
@@JadenSalads Wow this comment is old. White album is still easily my favorite album from them, but my opinion on Black and Pacific Daydream have changed a lot. They're both honestly pretty good albums. I remember my mom buying the white album on CD and listening to it in our car before that Panic show.
Raspberry Razmin the fox OWO Blue isn’t a very honest representation of him, it’s him purposely trying to appear and brand himself as an emblem of childlike innocence, he even modelled the cover over pictures of himself as a child
What makes Pinkerton so good is its thematic cohesion, every song ties back into the themes of sex, love, longing and loneliness from different, but related, perspectives. He's tired of casual relationships, he wants to getchoo and forge a deeper connection, but something always inevitably gets in the way (the ocean, her sexual orientation, his own insecurities, etc.). And we don't get closure by the end either, we're also left yearning for something we can't have and may never come.
Billsiff I honesty like Pinkerton more than sftbh, when ever I think about it I like the songs being more real and relatable than a big story , I feel it takes away from the rawness , it’s still good I just really like the raw “relatable “ feeling , and I fucking live tragic girl
I actually liked that one more than albums like maladroit and the green album. It's more poppy but still a lot of fun. Love Mexican Fender and Beach boys. Even Feels Like Summer really grew on me.

i love your comments on the white album (do you wanna get high is fucking fantastic) and i think your list is pretty much perfect (very glad to see pinkerton at 1)
No one talks about how good Pinkerton Deluxe is. It’s just like more of Pinkerton and not a single bonus track isn’t a banger just like original Pinkerton. It also has alternate version of the originals for hardcore fans too.
For me, it is: 1. White 2. Pinkerton 3. EWBAITE 4. Blue 5. OK Human 6. Maladroit (haven't listened to it yet) 7. Hurley 8. Teal 9. Green 10. Van Weezer 11. Black 12: Pacific Daydream 13: Make believe 14: Red 15: Ratitude
The White Album has a special place in my heart. My summer of the year it came out (2016) seemed to perfectly match the album. I met a girl, fell in love, and she broke my heart. It was terrible, and I still haven't really gotten over it. I still listen to the first half of the album to remember when I was younger and times were good.
For the longest time, the blue album was my favorite. Recently, I changed my mind to Pinkerton. There are just so many bangers that I didn’t understand until I opened my mind a little more.
11. Ratitude 10. Hurley 9. Pacific Daydream 8. Make Believe 7. Green Album 6. Red Album 5. Maladroit 4. White Album 3. Everything Will Be Alright In The End 2. Pinkerton 1. Blue Album
I'm weird. Weekend Woman touched me in a way I did not expect from Pacific Daydream and whenever I think of PD, I remember that song and I can't hate that album.
Snuffleupagus Same. I was listening to random Weezer songs, then came across Weekend Woman, and I was like "dang, this is actually really good." I haven't listened to the rest of Pacific Daydream yet, but I'll just pretend it's as good as that song.
I disagree with you a lot, but I still love your videos. They make me so happy, and it’s great to see a fellow Weezer fan whose as passionate about their music as me.
I actually enjoy all your stuff a lot. You deserve so much more attention. You're funny and your videos are really, so I'm gonna start recommending you to all my friends. Keep it up, I'll keep watching haha
When 'The White Album' came out, he "had [his] senior class trip." It's funny how perspective can be shaped by our placement in a generation and our perspective. I was going into junior high when 'The Blue Album' came out. I think this lens colors how I value their whole discography. I just don't get one stitch of 'Make Believe,' 'Pacific Daydream,' or 'Hurley.' To me, the closer Weezer's sound gets to that original garage rock/power pop sound ('The White Album, and 'Everything Will Be Alright...' are excellent examples), the "better" the album is, to me.
i really like this list. i've very recently been getting into weezer, and have only really been listening to 4 albums (blue, pinkerton, green, teal) i gasped a little when i saw your placement of the green album, just because i love it so much. the way the songs sound always gets me in a good mood, and i always feel better listening to it. however, i understand your reasoning. after all, when i first started listening to it, i couldn't tell which song i was about to go into because... some things about them are pretty similar. and for some reason, i felt relieved when seeing your #2 and #1 spots. i adore pinkerton, and its the first weezer album i've listened to on repeat. seriously can't get enough of it. your list has inspired me to listen to the other albums you've put at high spots, so thank you for that :)
Either that or island in the sun is the same for me Funnily enough I thought the guys who did Say it ain't So and the rest of 'Weezer' were different than the guys who made 'Weezer' with Island in the Sun it took years to realise they were the same band
I pretty much agree with your list but I thought Feels Like Summer wasn’t really that bad a single. It’s not much of a Weezer song, but I thought the production and vocals were pretty strong actually
I don't think Make Believe is underrated, I think it's overhated. And I've heard Rivers say in interviews that "where's my sex?" Is a joking tribute song for like his child, because she's always asking where are her socks, but she was unable to say the words sock, and said it as sex instead. Till the whole song is about a little kid trying to find their socks, but they can't say socks, they can only say sex
I'd put EWBAITE higher honestly, I really really like how in depth you went into each album though, you really know your stuff, and I can totally respect that you don't have the same emotional connections to some of the songs I do, but instead have your own, which I can kinda relate to in a weird sense. Really great video, 10/10
Thank you for giving Hurley some love! I’m always surprised how low Hurley is ranked by some fans. There are a lot of good songs that have aged well on Hurley. I think your list was well done and thought out. Mine would be pretty similar.

Pinkerton is such an amazing album that even just its b-sides are better than almost any of their other albums
the b sides are easily better than the album
Well at least half of it’s b-sides were originally meant to be on their cancelled album Songs From The Black Hole. Devotion is fantastic.
Billy Cobb For sure. I also kinda wish they used Long Time Sunshine as the closing song like they originally planned.
guyyouseewhenyoudie yeah but considering the song is a coda to SFTBH it wouldn’t make complete sense considering it samples a lot of songs from SFTBH
Billy Cobb Haha maybe I’ve listened to the b-sides so much that I’ve conflated them with the main album and forgotten which were which

I cannot support Hurley in your #5 spot above EWBAITE and Maladroit... BUT nice video!
ewbaite is probably still my third possibly second fave tbh
Ewbaite is overrated
If you think Ewbaite is overrated, you're only proving it's the most underrated.
Hurley is honestly shit, it’s like raditude with sprinkles on top, not good at all
@@ghislainemaxwellofficial6083 Run Away, Hang On, Memories, Unspoken and even Time Flies are great though.
I cant believe you put EWBAITE so low because the monster was brown...
I disagree with a few placements on this list, but I truly respect you sharing your honest opinion about these albums.
I got really worried we were getting into the top of the list and we hadn't seen The Black Album and then I realized the Black Album hadn't been released yet.
Ratitude is the most 'how do you do fellow kids' album I've ever heard.
I feel if weezer created the blue album in middle school, their first live performance would go exactly like the intro clip ngl
Am I the only one that puts EWBAITE at number three behind their first two albums??? I feel like it gets overlooked
I'm there
I have it above their first two albums, with maladroit being the only album ahead of it.
Dobis PR that’s REAL big dick energy having it above Blue and Pinkerton haha, respect
Nope. Welcome to the club, friend
I would put EWBAITE on my 4th
Pinkerton is the most beautiful album I have ever heard and not only personally and professionally, factually, it is the best Weezer album.
I remember my mom buying the white album on CD and listening to it in our car before that Panic show.

blue and pinkerton are equally good.
Cyborg Boi I see them as 2 half’s of rivers personality perfect for a tie
Raspberry Razmin the fox OWO Blue isn’t a very honest representation of him, it’s him purposely trying to appear and brand himself as an emblem of childlike innocence, he even modelled the cover over pictures of himself as a child
the raditude dog is my fursona
What makes Pinkerton so good is its thematic cohesion, every song ties back into the themes of sex, love, longing and loneliness from different, but related, perspectives. He's tired of casual relationships, he wants to getchoo and forge a deeper connection, but something always inevitably gets in the way (the ocean, her sexual orientation, his own insecurities, etc.). And we don't get closure by the end either, we're also left yearning for something we can't have and may never come.

Billy Cobb i agree with your list completely. just wish SFTBH would’ve seen a full release
Billsiff I honesty like Pinkerton more than sftbh, when ever I think about it I like the songs being more real and relatable than a big story , I feel it takes away from the rawness , it’s still good I just really like the raw “relatable “ feeling , and I fucking live tragic girl
I fucking love sftbh. Favorite rock album no doubt
pacific daydream as one of the best artwork ever sucks that album behind it is horrible

I'd swap the Green and Red albums. Other than that, I could have posted this list myself. I do like some songs on every album.
Maybe because a lot of the song was written during Green era entitled “Burning Sun”. Just a thought.
Snuffleupagus it sucks.....
I actually like Pacific Daydream. It’s not the highest ranking for me, but honestly I really enjoy the majority of it.
I feel that way with Happy Hour, although I never hated PD.
I disagree with you a lot, but I still love your videos. They make me so happy, and it’s great to see a fellow Weezer fan whose as passionate about their music as me.
Maladroit is imo their most underrated album. Although I don’t think it’s as good as Pinkerton, it competes with Blue as a close 2nd best

Clearly Raditude is so fantastic that it transcends all rankings
When 'The White Album' came out, he "had [his] senior class trip." It's funny how perspective can be shaped by our placement in a generation and our perspective. I was going into junior high when 'The Blue Album' came out. I think this lens colors how I value their whole discography. I just don't get one stitch of 'Make Believe,' 'Pacific Daydream,' or 'Hurley.' To me, the closer Weezer's sound gets to that original garage rock/power pop sound ('The White Album, and 'Everything Will Be Alright...' are excellent examples), the "better" the album is, to me.
i really like this list. i've very recently been getting into weezer, and have only really been listening to 4 albums (blue, pinkerton, green, teal)
i gasped a little when i saw your placement of the green album, just because i love it so much. the way the songs sound always gets me in a good mood, and i always feel better listening to it. however, i understand your reasoning. after all, when i first started listening to it, i couldn't tell which song i was about to go into because... some things about them are pretty similar.
and for some reason, i felt relieved when seeing your #2 and #1 spots. i adore pinkerton, and its the first weezer album i've listened to on repeat. seriously can't get enough of it.
your list has inspired me to listen to the other albums you've put at high spots, so thank you for that :)
Being a Weezer fan since 94, I (for the most part) agree with you. I like how you obviously took the time to think about the material. Good work.
Pinkerton is the best by far.
Say It Ain't So was the first Weezer song I ever heard.

Either that or island in the sun is the same for me
Funnily enough I thought the guys who did Say it ain't So and the rest of 'Weezer' were different than the guys who made 'Weezer' with Island in the Sun
it took years to realise they were the same band
Thanks Billy! This really introduced me to some of their unknown hits.
I pretty much agree with your list but I thought Feels Like Summer wasn’t really that bad a single. It’s not much of a Weezer song, but I thought the production and vocals were pretty strong actually

And I've heard Rivers say in interviews that "where's my sex?" Is a joking tribute song for like his child, because she's always asking where are her socks, but she was unable to say the words sock, and said it as sex instead.
