I think that considering dance sequences hire choreographers and action scenes need stunt coordinators, there's an argument to be made for them. However, now with Lively false accusations claimed to ruin an innocent guy's career, I can more than understand why film producers feel they shouldn't just be a suggestion, but mandatory. The thing is do you even really need one for slow-dancing romantic scenes, where the characters aren't even it private? Apparently, entrainment law officers are booming with call from both IC and production studio airing their concerns about this very topic. The IC that reached went on record with Hollywood Reporter honestly sounds bias, because outside of any usual awkwardness over filming a love scene, she seems way more smitten with him, than uncomfortable. This could really set a dangerous precedent within the industry.
Useless article tbh. They clearly didn’t listen because Blake and Justin talk in the scene about “almost kissing,” the only way to show that is for him to lean in multiple times. They are trying to build tension.
1:11 s-abuse versus s-harassment. So it looks like these two mean two very different things legally, both criminal nonetheless. I believe Blake is accusing Justin of s-harassment, not a-abuse. We will have to see if the jurors believe Blake’s claim. I personally don’t think it happened. More like a lack of communication on Blake’s behalf when she felt offended. Lack of communication on Justin’s by not talking through the slow dance scene before they started filming it. To Justin’s credit he should have talked through the scene bc she’s a difficult person not bc it was needed. Blake seems out of touch and not being able to perceive people’s intentions, example her Director who had a vision of his movie and tried to get her to do as he needed while acting as Riley who was playing a character from a book who nailed it presenting an act of wanting Lily (Blake) in all the ways a man does to get a woman he is VERY into as Riley is into Lily in the book. Blake was not able to act and perceive the live scenes were part of acting. No wonder she felt uncomfortable.
Blake Lively was out of work before this film and this is why. She is notorious for being hard to work with in she thinks she is bigger and better than anyone around her. This cosplay with the Intimacy Director is smoke screen for the fact she broke DGA rules when she did final edit. Even as an Associate Producer she does not have the right to re-edit the film. The Producer would have to hire another Director to do it. Similar to re-writing scenes from a WGA locked script without going through the on set Writer and Director. This Intimacy Director is actually an H.R rep on set where any complaints of inappropriate contact between cast members is reported to. This information is forward to H.R who reviews the case against contract then terminates offending Cast Member on site. Leading to a new Cast Member being hired while the offending Cast Member files grievance through SAG goes through an Arbitrator then possibly further to court. This is why the Intimacy Director was not on set for this scene Blake Lively is complaining about because she would have had to report it to the Intimacy Director who would have reviewed the scene with the Director voice the concern for a corrective action in the scene. This is done to determine if the Cast Members are acting on their own accord or acting on the Direction of the Director. Now the Producer is on the hook because they should have been made aware of this issue while on set. Or reported by either the Director or Cast Member. Good luck digging your career out of this one Blake Lively.

Why is there a coordinator for this specific element in filmmaking? Actors are, or were, adults at one time. They’d hop into bed with one another, sometimes naked, sometimes not, shoot their scene, and that was it. Sometimes there’d be a spark, sometimes not. There was no need of any hand holding.

She crossed the line when she jumped in the editing room and stole final cut from the Director that under DGA rules the Director is entitled to and is the only one who can make it. If the Producer wanted a re-edit the Producer would have to employ another Director to do it. Their are huge financial fines at stake here.

And yet is she wasn't marries to Ryan Reynolds, no one would give a @#$%
Intimacy coordinator is just another one of those grifter jobs
Elon Musk Hoax article on the side is just exactly what you expect with the story they are reading.
*Weighed* in....please correct it. :P
I don't have a dog in this Hollywood spat, so I don't even care about any of the people involved in it. :)
@@TorontoJon You cared enough to comment on a video about them though ;)
@@TheTheoreticalMutant so he cares enough about the Film Threat channel to help by watching a video and commenting when he doesn't care about the topic to help drive engagement for the algorithm and you decided to try to imply that he cares enough about the topic to comment?
@glyyytch The person could have made any comment to support the channel, but they decided to write a cliché comment about how they don't care about the content of the video. So yes, they cared enough about the content of the video to make a comment. See that works?
@@zechrojas2202 All they said is that they don't have a dog in this fight. "But you commented on it!" is not the gotcha you seem to think.
@ so what comment do you think he SHOULD have made if he didn't care at all about the content of the video but wanted to help the channel through engagement by watching the video anyway, liking, and commenting? To me the OP is bog standard for that sort of thing.
She said... He showed
Its like every fews year Blake does something to remind people she’s bland and unlikable.
Hopefully when this is all over, the only job Blake Lively can get is from her husband.
Well, hopefully RR is over too
@ Nah, he’s definitely not.
On the TJ Miller thing, sure he might have been treated bad by Ryan Reynolds. But TJ has his own problems with acting like an ass in other movies and shows and abusing people as well. Just sayin.
I don’t doubt him, but he is also a tool
I think it's Tim Miller the director of the first deadpool.
There is clear bias from the intimacy coordinator. They are actors playing characters. They didn’t kiss on the lips.
It seems pretty clear that Ryan thought Blake was cheating and became overly protective. She says no . She doesn't like Justin and she is gaslighting herself into thinking the SH stuff.. Ryan doesn't trust his wife. he knows you lose them how you win them. It also didn't help that his best friend was also having an affair on his wife
I remember in an interview she was telling a story about how RR said, if I lost you, imagine all the girls I could get with these 3 kids. BL was like that's so not nice. Then, she said I have one guy in mind. And she said, "he said what? who!?" Of course she told the story in a laughing joking way. I venture to guess that conversation did happen, so it's kinda telling
So the director can't have that discussion why do u need to pay someone to do a job a discussion can clear up. These people aren't adults
1- "intimacy coordinator" is a scam. 2- How does someone "steal" your movie. 3- sounds like they're all a bunch of spoiled children. 4- Obviously Blake Lively thinks she's a lot bigger deal than she actually is. 5- Do not give any tiny itty bitty crap.
How does not giving a c#$p end up in a multiple point comment? ;) :P
She crossed the line when she jumped in the editing room and stole final cut from the Director that under DGA rules the Director is entitled to and is the only one who can make it. If the Producer wanted a re-edit the Producer would have to employ another Director to do it. Their are huge financial fines at stake here.
My take on what is most likely is that they're both in the wrong.
Ryan Reynolds 😐
I used to work for Balboni in New york state, transporting 6 and a half foot chains back and forth from worksites. He was a good employer, firm but fair. He fired me because he needed to hire Johnny Tough knuckles. He never tried any improvised kissing.
His/Her movie, its a book. They should both lose it for acting like children.
The supposed "intimacy coordinator" is obviously a BL and RR plant, a sad attempt at gaslighting us
Even Nicepool on heinsight might be a dig at Justin which could bring Ryan to the stand.
Justin came out and said this. Nicepool says he’s a male feminist, has a podcast about toxic masculinity and wears a man-bun, all things that Justin has done previously
Also, Lady Pool (voiced by Blake) shoots Nicepool in front of a flower shop (in their movie she owns a flower shop). That one feels like a stretch, but you never know 🤷🏻♂️
A... _what_ ?
The fact this article was even read on this show as some sort of unbiased and factual representation of the alleged events that happened made me lose a fck ton of respect for you all.
It's not like they took it at face value. Alan said it just sounds like the intimacy coordinator just wants to keep working.
Oh brother.
she didn't accuse him of assault. harassment. which is a pattern of behavior. so one moment does not disprove a broader pattern. not to say i know who is right/wrong here.
Devils advocate take This is not Amber Herd 2.0 it is "me too 2.0" a. Nobody goes after a famous couple because his feelings got hurt. His team has been running an "op" for months this reeks of clout chasing. She didn't "steal the movie" she did her best to salvage it.
WHO CARES?!?
It would be good to mention that Lively is a producer on the film, not just actor, and its not just her social industry clout in play.
