I once bumped into Rhys Ifans at Watford Junction train station. He looked at me, smiled and then let out an evil laugh in the style of a Bond villian.
I want to pay to see this film just to reward the moxie of the filmmaker for truly making do with very meager resources. Many in Hollywood could learn from this.
Why we dont need to turn to and embrace ai. filmmakers have always done well indie and micro budget. ai will only lead to star-F-ing hollywood wanna-bes with no resourcefulness, weak visions, and derivative ideas. Film needs no ai. We have so many tools now. Filmmakers do better without it.
First of all - I love the MR. VERBAL RIOT DANTE' inclusion on FILM THREAT'S panel/commentary. Second - Since the HOLLYWOOD System is in CREATIVE & ARTISTICALLY GRIDLOCK, Independent filmmakers -OR- video-makers HAVE to innovative and cunning. I just purchased one of those '4K' video camcorders form TEMU and guess what - AS LONG AS YOU KNOW HOW TO FRAME A SHOT, LIGHT A SHOT, COORDINATE A SHOT AND MICROPHONE A SHOT, you can get things DONE. Of course with those supposedly '4K' camcorders you have to be careful because they're not really '4k' and you do have to adjust your settings to 1080i -OR- 1080p in order to get decent shots, BUT the point is this......most all you independent filmmakers don't have $20,000 to shoot anything, so, be flexible and most of be creative in your logistics and get the work done. As far as distribution is concerned, I just had a 4-walling showing of another of my video-movies and yes doing 4-walling is a financial RISK, but at least I know I did it and it can be done. On a side note, I have other camcorders in different formats but I couldn't resist purchasing that '4K' camcorder from TEMU because I really wanted to see how TEMU '4K' quality look and like I said earlier, make sure you use the 1080i/p setting instead!!😏 - JAMES D. WATKINS, artistic director of PHOENIX PRODUCTIONS.
@@FilmThreat - Yes, and I will be submitting it to FILM THREAT's review process on your website within the next 35 days and I do my best to support FILM THREAT and MR. VERBAL RIOT DANTE' as much as I can via via financial support because the way I see it; 'LIKES' and 'THUMBS UP' is one thing but FINANCIAL SUPPORT is on another level and all of you; FILM THREAT, DANTE, ROBERT MEYER BURNETT and even MAULER deserves FINANCIAL SUPPORT and BACKING, so yes, I will be submitting that TEMU 4K short video-movie to FILM THREAT! - J.D. Watkins.
The theaters are clamoring for more movies... you see like tons of kids movies where before it was maybe one per day... they want movies but there are no studios to make movies... the big studios are in debt and just dont care about smaller productions... smaller studios cant really make movies because of all the taxes and laws in the us... and smaller film makers cant get finance very easily

Guerilla film making? It sounds more interesting and intriguing than what comes out of Hollywood factories.
You can’t get distribution without having release forms. So they would have to post huge signs everywhere they were shooting
Is Chris OK?
I need to see this film. I heard this was good.
