#CERAKOTE #SCOOTER #PAINT
I've literally been watching all your old videos this last week, been watching cerakote videos for the last 2 hours....and then you upload this.
I was already sold on cerakote, but its got an amazing chemical resistance
Everything suits with bright purple and can easily notice on highways also reduce the risk of accidents. Bright color is important here in the Philippine highways. Mabuhay ka Kapatid!🖤
Absolutely LOVE It!
i have seen other videos using a brush but this looks way better, amazing man
"let's grab the spray can, and, let's solve the problem!" haha yes
It's the first time that I have watched you ride a scooter (or skateboard), Martin. You are left handed (but ambidextrous) but you ride a scooter like a right handed person, left foot forward! The body is an incredible machine! I really love the colour you painted the scooter and although I have seen Cerakote being used before, it's always got to be put into an oven and cured, I wonder how the air dried Cerakote stands up to abuse on the scooter. Also, it would be good to hear how the Cerakote was difficult to spray when compared to the usual 2K paint. On the battery, it looked like it caused "orange peel?" Thanks Martin, you are a star!
how did you manage to get the orange wires and wire caps in front to be orange?
"Everything looks better in Purple". 😃
All the hallmarks of a good paint. The more health warnings, the better the quality
Enjoyed the video. Would have liked close-ups of the scooter paint. 👍🏻
Thanks for the amazing video, I was going to buy cerakote but your link doesn't work unfortunately.
nice scooter! Do you also do chrome and pin striping?
Right when you'd think all the diy paint jobs have been covered (sprayed), Martin jumps from the box again..
Would you paint my Carbon Fiber Rion re90?
Hey Martin, a bike company, We Are One, out of Kamloops, BC, Canada is using CERAKOTE as the paint for their frames. What are your thoughts on this?
Shit. I will not use it again. It cracks easy and doesn`t stick to the aluminum as promised. The purple was transparent as F... and I needed much more as expected to get a full coverage of the color. It stinks like hell cause of the acetone which makes it dangerous to use. Maybe my charge was damaged or too old or what ever. But it didn`t came out as expected and i will do the scooter again in the future.
@@ETOE Dont fix what isn't broken, no need to move away from the classic methods!
Would you recommend applying cerakote on a carbon frame?
I recommend to throw your carbon frame in the trash. So there is more space for cars on the road.
@@ETOE sehr interessant
will love to see your work on cars more please. what a talent ❤️️
Would chemical stripping work on removing the paint as well?
Yes if you use this: amzn.to/3lfw8jF Put the parts in a bath of warm water an this. But not too long or the surface of the aluminum gets hurt. Rinsethe parts with citric acid afterwards.

@@ETOE Also you've mentioned that primer and spray wouldn't be durable. Could an 2k primer and paint be an alternative? Cerakote is quite expensive!
@@k0k0w You can use what ever you like even cheap stuff if you like cheap paint jobs.
@@ETOE Thanks! I'll try out the drain cleaner technique for anodized parts.
BTW, I'm glad you branched out to e scooters as well. It's been great watching your videos and they are very helpful in adding confidence to do a DIY job with a pro finish.
@@k0k0w you only need a $35 4oz cerakote kit to do a full bike. 2 thin coats is all you need.
Compared to 2k primer, paint, clear its actually cheaper. You can also cerakote over bare steel/aluminium.
If you watch the impact/abrasive tests, cerakote is 10x more durable easily. Its not just plastic/resin/Eurethane like paint, its ceramic particles that are glued to your frame.
Nice adrenaline rush.
Oh yeah!
I think the colour is made for firearms
STAY AWAY FROM TURBOANT! THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY!
Martin can you sell me this scooter 🛴?
Yes just send me a mail or DM on Instagram.
