Perhaps everyone of you live in this fantasy land with spotless clean roads, that are so smooth and fine,it’s like riding on a cloud. Well let’s get back to reality and commuting in NYC,when you have 10 miles to work and you get a flat in the middle of your ride and have to push the scooter the rest of the way…and you’re late for work…that’s the real life! And I can tell you about the most garbage tires ever made in that aspect : and they are not rubber, they are nylon…and they’re called HOTA.

the Volar Eagle 1 front shocks require modification, I used the EXA 291 125mm tube, and 150mm shaft combine together to get the correct length of 135mm as the original length. it is a little bit messy when doing it, but ended up is well worth the work, and now a 135mm oil shocks for front, 165mm in the back, great video, thanks for sharing. have a nice and safe ride.
Ginger good video the scooter community needed to know just how good PMT tires are. I got mine back in October and these tire in my opinion are the #1 upgrade for your scooter. Amazing. Fun fact. Since my upgrade to PMT tires I have not had one flat. Alexa stopped asking me if I need more inner tubes months ago. Haha 😂 I will never use stock tires again.

My Vsett10 is broken after 300 Km's ! My rear hub motor makes a rattling sound and spins sometimes backwards also! Also maybe the Controller is broken? So here I am, with my brand new Vsett10! Damn this e scooter, I'm screwed!
I guess it is the controller dude, I had similar problem with another brand. My front motor acted like electric break was on, even when the scooter was completely off. A new controller can fix it, use your warranty, they have to repair or send-it to you for free. If you bought it in a store, show it to your vendor.
Great vid Ginger. I do have my PMT's on order. But so far, my 2 favorite upgrades to my 10+ is an extended battery, which doubles my 25.6ah capacity giving me nearly 70 miles of range at moderate speeds. Alien Rides is a good source for Vsett 10+ parts. The second upgrade was the new plug-and-play display and throttle swap. The new Vsett 10+ and 9+ already come with the center console display. I really like the throttle. The handle is longer, with more throw, so I feel better speed control than the old throttle.
Have you heard of the solar FF lite scooter? It has a unique feature that I doubt any scooter has to date. That being that the single motor mode can either be front or rear even though it is a dual motor scooter.
Here in UK it rains like every day. With stock tires I don't dare to go past level 3 acceleration (P12 setting) as traction is lost almost immediately. How much worse are these tires for such conditions? (the ones with thread)
Not many videos on the vsett 11. had mine for a little over a year. Driving during winter and summer in snow, rain and off-road. hardly any rust on the front wheel and that is thanks to a worn bearing. Little more than 3700 miles
there are a whole lot of them in this class . lots of other ones that you never hear about too that are great too! I couldent find one worth a dang! so I built my own that will last lifetimes for about the same price as buying one ! but the batteries /parts will be the best of the best , industrial H.D. , long range, utility / hyper scooter .
Same thing happened with my boys vsett 10+ after 500 miles the suspension went to crap it's way too bouncy and soft so I agree you def gotta put a DNM Suspension front and back then you definitely need a steering damper and the PMT tires because the stock ones suck to many flats or even put the hybrid tires on because it protects the tube way better and then I would disconnect the card reader my boy disconnected his because it's so annoying other than that it's an awesome scooter!
thats not quite how it works, with dual motor you've simply got double the power at low-ish speed up to 20mph the range difference will be minimal unless you've got a lot of hills, at full throttle with gear 3 and speed unlocked your range will be halved compared to single motor it is hardly worth running single motor in general though
Nice. I got a vsett 11+ and been thinking of getting exa re air shocks for the back. With the dual it could be a plush ride. Side note as soon as you hit the corner with the hotel next to burger master I knew exactly where you were lol. I live in magnolia area
I have the same chargeable flashlights their a bit expensive throw 45 bucks each but well worth it for night riding. I have been almost run over her t side swiped more than 10 times in 3 months because of drivers that are not looking for a scooter right.
Hey Ginge! I’ve been riding around my Vsett10+ and I hit a huge pothole. Not only did I pop my tire but it cracked the rim on the motor. I had to buy a new motor. I realized I don’t like the PMT Efires. They are super grippy but I feel like I can’t jump curbs with it and do any off road with them. And I think I would enjoy spinning the tires on take off. Can you recommend the best hybrid tires for this beast? Thanks
yes i have heared they are very good tyres mate and great review as allways good to have you back out on the scooters ginge because im sick of all them sur ron ones everyones putting out but hey great to have you back
Have you considered mounting a 150mm shock to the front? Original front shock is 135mm; I have done some rough geometry simulation and considering the shock at its fully extended position It should sag the front end of the scooter by circa 40mm when using 125mm shocks. However 150 mm shocks should rise the front end by 65mm or so. My thoughs are to use air shocks (EXA A5-RR) and tune it in such a way, that the front one will sag more than the rear compensating the height difference, and at the same time allowing the suspension to use more of its travel range, since 125mm has only 20mm travel compared to 150mm´s 30mm. What do you or anyone reading this think about that?
I think it depends on where you stand usually when you're riding lot of people stand on the back of their scooter so if you're one of those people I think it's mostly important to focus on keeping that front tire down
That’s so awesome, I didn’t know that bending down and being on the rear of the scooter effects speed wobbles that much. I got a roadrunner rs5 max and I got speed wobbles at 30mph I’m like what the actual hell is going on. It scared me so much at first that I immediately ordered the steering damper when I got home 😂 i guess better to have it then not? Lol
for suspecion you may have bad patch, I asked someone who has the scooter to give me a feedback after he ride it for 3000KM, he told me that he didnt even has to change the tires once ... and everything is great However, I agree on the tires part that look great upgrade
Awesome review Ginger =) I was going to do the same if I go for a Vsett10+.. So cool and worthy upgrades especially the suspension as I have creaking on the 9+ back suspension. I make noises too when on scooter fun moments but I think you have more of a reason when turning corners and swirving at almost 30+mph and maintaining perfect balance =) Looking forward to you trying the single motor range test with the 10+R 👍👍
Hey thanks for all you do! longtime supporter here, and I just got my new vsett 9+R any accessories you would use for that specific scooter or the same applies?
I've heard you can swap to air shocks on the 9+R but that it's also really not that noticable. Some people swear by fixed bars, but I prefer the folding ones. One thing I definitely would get though is 1 or 2 FireLights if you ride at dusk/night. Perhaps grab some tire sealant like Dr. Orange if you have rough roads, pinch flats are common on the 9+.
Speed wobble happens when the front lifts and doesn't come down perfectly straight. In the first video you put it in sports mode and the tyres were slipping, does that sitll happen with PMT tyres?
Are the PMT tires more puncture resistant? I can appreciate like any race tire they would provide better handling and more grip in the dry, but what about the wet and loose gravel?
You mean the Vsett 10+ 25.6 AH right? I say Vsett ALL DAY EVERYDAY! 😀I have two of them, you can see them on my You-Tube Channel. Me and my Chinese wife love our Vsetts, we ride them all the time. After months of research last year it came down to a few... Nanrobot D6+2.0 or this, decided to go with this one and man.... BEST DECISION I MADE EVER. You won't be disappointed at all. Top notch quality and ride. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask me I'll answer you. 😀
Hey ginger I’m considering buying a scooter to get to work but I’m worried cops are gonna give me a hard time about being on the road. Have you had any trouble with the police? Love the videos undecided between vset 10+ r, mantis king, rr rs light 😅
It depends a lot on where you live. In Seattle area the cops don't care as long as you aren't being reckless in traffic. I would join a local Facebook erider group and see what the experiences are like of people in your area.
Any chance the suspension upgrade would fit the Kukirin G3 Pro, my issue is the rebound ….. i gave both front & back 1 full turn to make it firmer which worked no problem & I like it better but the rebound is just the same. Just snaps back.Really want to be able to adjust it. If not these ones is there any u recommend…thanks great video 🛴💨👍🏼
I haven't tried a dusting the suspension on the G3 Pro. I'm pretty sure these shocks are too big though. You would need to remove the existing shock and measure the eye to eye bolt distance in millimeters and then shop around online for a similar shock with rebound damping
Thanks , I’m struggling to find 120mm 2000lbs shocks with rebound adjustment for the front …was hoping the arms would just swing down a little. I hope it made a noticeable improvement for the Vsett
I got the Mukuta 10+ and the suspension feels kind of crappy and I don't trust those knobby tires. I just can't find any reliable information to upgrade the suspension. Wondering how close it is to the Vsett.
So I literally just bought the vsett 10+ a few hours ago and just now I seen the vsett 10+ apex just came out !!! With a removable battery lmao is this a real vsett
1st off, are the wheels tubeless ready in this Vsett 10+? correct me if I'm wrong but, this Vsett kinda has the same geometry as the Ausom Gallop which is branded Kukirin G3 Pro out here in Europe that means, the Kukirin.Ausom Gallop might be able to benefit from the same EXA shocks upgrade or you don't think so?
@@GingerOnWheels I might not have the Vsett but, "completely different" nah! They are very very identical. Please, let's deal with facts here. Do you even know the Ausom Gallop like that or you just reviewed it & sent it back? Like I said, I don't own the Vsett but, take a good closer look at it, forget the name, forget the color & look even closer, they have more in common geometry wise than they have differences.
I can tell you that the guy that bought the lambo in front of you was definitely a scat pack owner in the past because the urus doesn’t sound that sh*t right out of the factory. My guy made a car that sounds decently similar to an f1 car on high rpm and turned it into a booger blower.
@GingerOnWheels I'm just curious do you not get stressed about holding down the throttle for so long?? I always pulse my throttle on my scooters I never hold it down for longer than like 5 seconds at a time but usually it's 2-3 second pulses and then 2-3 seconds off in between. I just feel like it's a lot better for the motors and controllers. Maybe not good for the springs in the throttle lol but that's not as important as the electronics
No I don't get stressed at all if there's no obstacles. Just full send it. To be fair though, I've got the backing of vendors behind me of something breaks. I'm here to test these things for everyone. I can definitely see where you're coming from, but I can tell you confidently that I've never had any issue come from holding down the throttle too long unless I was going over 55 mph. There are some scooters that are just underbuilt for the amount of power the controllers ask for, those types of scooters see controller failures quite often at high speed.
Hey ginger, lookin to upgrade my rear coil sus. I weigh about 215 was debating which out of the two 2000 or 2500 lbs are more suitable for a heavier rider? Thanks man
Ginger, will this suspension work on my varla eagle one pro?? Thinking of replacing mine.. but not sure what will fit.. cant find any videos about eagle one pro suspension
Nice, I need the UU motors 8000w motor upgrade and the 540amp 12000w controller! Bigger motors are supposed to be more efficient?? I wonder what would happen if you just put one in the back? I bet a guy would make toast of a Tesla!??
I wish the UK would legalise Electric scooters so I don't have to take the back roads and canal paths in fear of getting stopped, fined and having my scooter confiscated by the police and having to pay a subsequent fee to have my scooter back. Not to mention having points added onto my driving licence (I would actually care more if I actually drove a car). So much for helping the environment with clean energy transport.
There are two types for sale on PEV outlet . The l2000 one is the square one with an OLED display. The L3250 is the long rectangular bar. pevoutlet.com/product/fire-light-l2000/
FYI the PMTs are designed to run on lower PSI than usual. If you run them at 45 PSI or whatever, then the contact patch will be small and the tires will wear quickly, especially in the back. You can definitely get speed wobbles even as an experienced rider. It depends on the suspension setup: with a soft C-type suspension, during braking, the front wheel's contact patch may be moving so far ahead of where steering axle's imaginary line intersects the road, that the scooter gets negative steering track and becomes inherently unstable. See Fidico Black Knight, the C type suspension variant as a particularly nasty example: /watch?v=_Lq-5s9axQw /watch?v=il3GeVKb2j0&t=225s
You know, that's what I thought! When I first installed I put them at 30psi, got a flat. Then 35, got another flat. I normally don't run 40+ PSI but I wanted to be safe rather than sorry having to use ANOTHER tube. I think if you're on an actual track then low PSI would be fine/better. But on the road with cracks and holes that wasn't my experience.
@@GingerOnWheels As a heavier rider (220lbs) I can say that there is night and day difference between 10 and 11 inch scooters when it comes to punctures, on my previous 10 inch scooter with road tires I would get so many punctures, it's insane, with 11inch tires, especially if you have off road ones with thicker thread, it's so much more puncture resistant, it's crazy. This is one of the reasons I don't like VSETT 10+
Hello, i know your video is a while any motnhs ago but i have a just saying downgrade ed. Please advice cos you tried much moor scooter then mee.
Absolutely. It's still my favorite pick for most people. Unless you're one of those people who has zero need to transport your scooter on the bus or in the car, and have a bottomless pit of money for a wallet, then the vsett 10 plus is plenty. The springs only get trashed if you ride hard like I do offroad and you're heavy like me (~220lb)
I wanna go pmt on my wolf king gt pro but alot of people say its easier to gets flat which idk if its true or not but riding in New York is easy to get flats. Are u able to run tire sealant in the pmt tires ?
I live in Seattle and because it rains so much the roads out here I bet are just as bad. I bought my PMT tires back in October and I have not had one flat. I don’t use slime. PMT tires have been the best upgrade for my scooter hands down. Running on stock tires I have had 4 flats in one month. Yikes!!! I used to get flats all the time. Anyway PMT’s are the way to go. You will not be disappointed.
Those people were either lying or just had bad luck cause I've heard the opposite. Also, you CAN raise PSI to 50 on them so they won't drag and cause your range to decrease like I've heard online.
Riding on my Varla Eagle One on my daily commute (8 miles daily) I can definitely say that there is no difference as far as range whether I ride only on single or dual motor. Whether its good to ride on single motor to make the scooter last, I don't know. After close to 2 years of riding on it the only issue I have with it is, it's probably time to replace the tires.
Did you go 1500lbs on the front and 2000 rear as shown? If so how heavy are you and have you had any issues with the front spring bottoming out? I’m 85kg and normally carry about 5kg backpack and am leaning towards 1800 front and 2000 rear

I got a roadrunner rs5 max and I got speed wobbles at 30mph I’m like what the actual hell is going on. It scared me so much at first that I immediately ordered the steering damper when I got home 😂 i guess better to have it then not? Lol
So if we have woobles we have to put our weight on the front more?
for suspecion you may have bad patch, I asked someone who has the scooter to give me a feedback after he ride it for 3000KM, he told me that he didnt even has to change the tires once ... and everything is great
However, I agree on the tires part that look great upgrade
Awesome review Ginger =) I was going to do the same if I go for a Vsett10+.. So cool and worthy upgrades especially the suspension as I have creaking on the 9+ back suspension.
I make noises too when on scooter fun moments but I think you have more of a reason when turning corners and swirving at almost 30+mph and maintaining perfect balance =)
Looking forward to you trying the single motor range test with the 10+R 👍👍
Great content as always! Wyrd Rides has been awesome helping me upgrade my Fiido!
@@GingerOnWheels thanks for the response and will do on the ideas! Keep up the great work man! I look forward to your content!
Very nice Mr. Wheels. Enjoy the HD scooter riding on the big screen.
Speed wobble happens when the front lifts and doesn't come down perfectly straight.
In the first video you put it in sports mode and the tyres were slipping, does that sitll happen with PMT tyres?
I must have put my tires on a bit wonky cause my front and back tire vibrate pretty bad but I'm too lazy to gix it 😅😅
Are the PMT tires more puncture resistant?
I can appreciate like any race tire they would provide better handling and more grip in the dry, but what about the wet and loose gravel?
If you put 40-50 psi in them they will be fine. They are much better. Even on wet grass they are better than cst
What is better pick vsett 10+ 25.7or Kaabo Wolf warrior x pro 28.7 same price.....which one Will last longer.....? Thanks........
Thanks for the link on the tires.. much appreciated 😎
Wondering how close it is to the Vsett.
in real usage,i found out using dual motor give the best mileage for the batteries
You dont work at SCH by chance do you? I saw a Vsett 10+ parked there the other day and got excited haha
I don't work anywhere. I review scooters on RUclips for a living. I still am curious what SCH is though...?
So I literally just bought the vsett 10+ a few hours ago and just now I seen the vsett 10+ apex just came out !!! With a removable battery lmao is this a real vsett
Do the tires give you better range?
1st off, are the wheels tubeless ready in this Vsett 10+? correct me if I'm wrong but, this Vsett kinda has the same geometry as the Ausom Gallop which is branded Kukirin G3 Pro out here in Europe that means, the Kukirin.Ausom Gallop might be able to benefit from the same EXA shocks upgrade or you don't think so?
The geometry is completely different, the tires do have tubes. The EXA form 291R shocks do fit on the scooter.
Thanks man
Are those tires tubeless? I'm about to order a WK GT and wondering if I should just have Voro install them...
Vsett10+ vs Wolfworrier X vs Nami Klima you can only pick #1 EV which one would you choose 🧐😎???
Damnn I’m looking to get them… Thanks for the video
Ginger, will this suspension work on my varla eagle one pro?? Thinking of replacing mine.. but not sure what will fit.. cant find any videos about eagle one pro suspension
What's the.scooter with the most range.speed and best all around for all
when u said "Welcome to Belleview " 😂😂 i knew what you meant
Nice, I need the UU motors 8000w motor upgrade and the 540amp 12000w controller! Bigger motors are supposed to be more efficient?? I wonder what would happen if you just put one in the back? I bet a guy would make toast of a Tesla!??
hello what tires did I take? 10 x 3.0 ?
need to get my hands on the 11x4 stradale tires
Alien Ride sells a plug n play battery upgrade. Even the battery shell is upgraded
Have you tested the new vsett 10+ apex yet?

I wish the UK would legalise Electric scooters so I don't have to take the back roads and canal paths in fear of getting stopped, fined and having my scooter confiscated by the police and having to pay a subsequent fee to have my scooter back. Not to mention having points added onto my driving licence (I would actually care more if I actually drove a car). So much for helping the environment with clean energy transport.
Where can I get a LED deck for my turbowheel fhaton , I think it is a 10 x ?
Do you know ?
How much psi do you recommend for pmt e-fire?
I want to buy this rear shock exa JFOYH 165mm rear shock, what link to buy this
Lights are called "Fire Light L3250W Handlebar Lights" ??
There are two types for sale on PEV outlet . The l2000 one is the square one with an OLED display. The L3250 is the long rectangular bar.

So hard to find pmts to fit my 10 by 4.5 WYD
I am having rear sag issues with my yume x 11. Do you thing that these would work on my x11 for rear duel shocks? If not what might you recommend?
Can you put those road tires on the mukuta 10+?
I run my PMT’s at 32 PSI and have never had a flat. My scooter weighs 88 pounds and I’m a 185 pound rider.
@@terrycotton4933 That's good to know. Maybe it was just a coincidence and I should run them low again? 🤔
What about Alien Ride’s plug n play battery upgrade? They’ve a video on it. Looks really easy
How is the water proofing?
Hello, i know your video is a while any motnhs ago but i have a just saying downgrade ed. Of that is there any possible options for a IO Hawk Legacy 2.0 (it has 2x250W 52V) to get that on 30km/h or faster by unlocking over wirless button and if i press that against that be go down to allowed 22km/h in germany for streets?
Good video , what doo you think I currently hawe Vsett8 and its for city best litle scooter. And I wont too buy somthing faster and I'm between Vsett 10+R or Dualtron Storm or Teverun fighting elewen those 2 are from Dualtron but in EU especially in my not city but country wee haw not Dualtron service so I'm on the fence . Not that 10+ isn't good but from 10 people 8 haw 10+ only cos I want litle somthing diferent. Price of Dualtrone is 3,500€ what doo you think . To goo with 10+R also I will ceep my Vsett 8 cos it for strict city center rides its perfect for that , and 10R for proper rides 2,3 times weakly or Dualtron so I need help cos I'm lost and I didn't driwe that Dualtrons only seen it and specs and hear good things.
. Please advice cos you tried much moor scooter then mee.
Do you still feel this era o worth what you paid, replace shocks after only a couple hundred miles?
@@GingerOnWheels thank you!
I have a choice between Vsett 10+ and Wolf X pro. What would you recommend?
Sweet thanks guys I appreciate the help. 🙏
2 great upgrade tips !
What app do you use to track your speed and elevation on the range tests etc?
I use a couple but my go-to is Relive
@@GingerOnWheels Ty! I just purchased my Vsett 10+ because of you! Ready to download Relive and start tracking my rides.
Dope music man
It’s your favorite because you haven’t ridden the 11+, and the 11+ is my favorite because I haven’t ridden the super 72 😩
😅
Next do upgrades for kaabo wolf king gt
I believe dual mode is more efficient
Riding on my Varla Eagle One on my daily commute (8 miles daily) I can definitely say that there is no difference as far as range whether I ride only on single or dual motor. Whether its good to ride on single motor to make the scooter last, I don't know. After close to 2 years of riding on it the only issue I have with it is, it's probably time to replace the tires.
Vsset or kaabo king gt .. cant choose
Vsett
Good video
Did you go 1500lbs on the front and 2000 rear as shown? If so how heavy are you and have you had any issues with the front spring bottoming out?
I’m 85kg and normally carry about 5kg backpack and am leaning towards 1800 front and 2000 rear
I would ask the VSETT Facebook group. Post your weight and people will give you feedback more than I can. I only upgraded the rear.
@@GingerOnWheels Thanks for the reply, will check out the group. Thanks for posting these videos, they definitely helped me settle on the 10+
You can keep riding till 49 V.
The guy who sold it to mee says that is a way better indicator
Nice
Psi?
35 degrees what, exactly…? Metric or…?
?
9:50 the lamborghini is not a real lamborghini, because it use the same V8 From porsche panamara, not a V10 or V12, that is why it sounds different.
🤙🏼⚡🤙🏼
VSETT 10+ not worth getting i got a custom made scooter for 2,5k with massive battery vsett all battery are low for the $$$ point
PMTs are boring, you can't spin and skid out the tires like you can with the stock nami tyres lol
