CandidoMedia, thanks for the question. There's no way to really know because Amazon doesn't share those types of analytics. The best we can do is for a particular keyword, look at the estimated number of searches vs the number of books that come up in the search results. That and the number of sales/reviews people are getting for a book in that category. You want to make something that's in demand (even if it's lower than ideal) but without a ton of competition. There's nothing concrete though.
How do you add additional pages after the first two pages? The screen shows page 1 and 2. What if you have several different pages that you design yourself?
Hi I tried this but when it tells me to preview and approve on Amazon, it keeps saying "Error - Your expected cover size is 12.655x9.250 but the submitted file size is 12.431x9.250" is there anyway to fix that? I tried everything I can think of but nothing works.
Hm, strange. Without seeing it I can't imagine what it could be. Maybe it's a glitch? I'd try calling their customer svce. Maybe one day I'll do a live where I upload a cover and interior.
Hi! I created my book on excel because it is several different pages 1 page then 2 different pages alternating and then 5 at the end are the same. I turned them into a png file by copying and pasting each page onto paint. Then I used the I interior designer on book bolt page by page in interior pro section. 100 pages! Then the margins weren’t right in kdp and I can’t figure out how to get it to the right size to fit my book! Any suggestions?
@@heylisamichele it was a png and I eventually got it to kinda work. But I’m waiting for my authors copy to see what it looks like in person. I uploaded the png files to book bolt because it wouldn’t upload my pdf files. I think there is going to be some weird space at the top of the pages. I was able to make it narrow enough to fit the side margins but it made the top not right, I think.
I have book bolt. Every video shows hour to make book covers and interiors. No one shows how to actually put the interior into the book. I've download the interior. It's not showing me how to finish this.
Hi R. Are you talking about building a book for kdp? Updated: Just in case anyone else has a question about assembling a book for Amazon KDP. In the KDP platform you'll upload the interior and cover separately, as two separate PDF files. Amazon KDP will put the two together during production.

Margie, if you're selling on Amazon KDP you don't put the book together, they do. You'd have to upload two pdf files. One for the interior pages and one for the cover.

I've used Book Bolt on a PC and Mac but not an iPad. I didn't notice any difference on those two.

What does cut and snap mean on bookbolt ?
Cutting will remove the element. Snapping gets an object to automatically connect to a line on the canvas' grid. Thanks for watching!

I turned them into a png file by copying and pasting each page onto paint. Then I used the I interior designer on book bolt page by page in interior pro section. 100 pages! Then the margins weren’t right in kdp and I can’t figure out how to get it to the right size to fit my book! Any suggestions?
Are you sure you used the proper page trim size? Is there text outside of the dotted lines? And did you upload png files or pdf files? Should be pdf.
@@heylisamichele it was a png and I eventually got it to kinda work. But I’m waiting for my authors copy to see what it looks like in person. I uploaded the png files to book bolt because it wouldn’t upload my pdf files. I think there is going to be some weird space at the top of the pages. I was able to make it narrow enough to fit the side margins but it made the top not right, I think.
I have book bolt. Every video shows hour to make book covers and interiors. No one shows how to actually put the interior into the book. I've download the interior. It's not showing me how to finish this.
Hi R. Are you talking about building a book for kdp? Updated: Just in case anyone else has a question about assembling a book for Amazon KDP. In the KDP platform you'll upload the interior and cover separately, as two separate PDF files. Amazon KDP will put the two together during production.

Margie, if you're selling on Amazon KDP you don't put the book together, they do. You'd have to upload two pdf files. One for the interior pages and one for the cover.

Randy, that's a good point. When you log in on the Book Bolt site (link in the description box below) there is a tutorials tab on the left side of the home page. Once you're logged in it's hard to miss. Thanks for pointing that out.
