Good morning friend, what a beautiful bike, how subtle and with what perfection and love you build that bike, I congratulate you, thanks for those videos.
@@GeeMilner of course! It turned out super cool. Everyone says it is too.pricey, but i expected it to be way more than it actually is. Out of my price range, but that is why i am.watching the video and not the one posting it lol
Where did you get that wing nut with the Allen bit for the crank bolt at 8:13? I would love one for my travel kit so I don’t have to take a full-size 10 mm hex. And hopefully we will get more suppliers and sleeker options for hydraulic TT brake levers someday. Magura had some for their hydraulic *rim* brakes in the past…
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it, for sure it's a super cool bike with a real fast purpose, I guess that will always come with a price tag! What is your favourite part of the Dream Build?
Another simply sweet build Gee....also another one to know the weight of....I'm not a Tri Guy or even a roadie but knowing the weight tells volumes about the bikes components and owner's intentions...I don't find this frame set pretty at all in fact it's rather Cobby-looking to be honest but it's also very functional for the owner's intentions competing in Triathlons ... ...Thanks for sharing Gee!!!
@@GeeMilner Sure did....with that goofy bracket for the Forearm supports....looks like it came from an "Erector set"....which was a collections of hardware for kids to build stuff with when I was single digits old...I'm sure it's top-o-the-line stuff just looks "cobby" like I mentioned above....should have had wireless shifting but Sram probably does not make units to fit that particular application...what does that bike weigh?
Once i repaired this model before a race, when i customer needed an emergency service. Enve wheels but mechanical 105…. When he told me how much the bike costs, i was kinda shocked. Its unique, but come on. The build vid is great tho!
Sick build and even sicker video but it got me wondering... Why are hydraulic disc brakes and cable shifters used on a bike that goes to such lenghta to save weight? Wouldn't cable rim brakes and wireless shifters be lighter?
@@GeeMilner opa com certeza eu e minhas filhas de 5 e 7 anos adoramos ver seus vídeos. oops sure me and my 5 and 7 year old daughters love watching your videos.
Hi gee! This is a very special bike, even for you! What I would be interested in is how the front derailleur works with the oval chainrings. In the nineties, the bike industry stopped doing it again because there were always problems with shifting. The oval chain ring only had a rebirth in times of 1x11/1x12 circuits! Long story short! Does this combination work smoothly? Thank you in advance. Best regards M.H
Biopace ovals from the 90s have nothing to do with the modern version, the ovality is now at the right place. I still think they are a gimmick in my opinion and yes chain drops on the front derailleur is still common. Weird bike build anyways, why you wouldn't go with di2 or etap on a tribike is beyond me.
@@The2808erik Vegan Cyclist hast an interesting take on this.. He runs an oval ring setup giving him more slack to run a MTB rear mech and bigger cassette on his road bike. Seems to work for him. And yes, why spend so much on a Ventum and then mechanical shifting??
@@GeeMilner yeah, bet it was easier due to the internal cavity. Shape reminds me of that old triathlon frame from then90s, think it was Zipp who made it...
Sorry this build does not make a lot of sense to me, dura ace mechanical on a really heavy and Aero frame, Ultegra di 2 just would have made so much more sense. Same with not running deeper wheels or even a disc wheel in the back
@@GeeMilner I guess the rider must be of old age, fearful of electronics or finding it fussy. because, budget doesn't seem to be the issue here, only lack of knowledge and experience with modern tech.

Awesome DreamBuild with CADEX 50 Ultra wheels and CADEX tyres!
Also da love the background music!

I remembered the legendary Lotus sport 110, very original geometry, it's a pity that it's illegal for UCI. Thanks Gee!
I guess thats the thing about Triathlon bikes, they don't have to conform to any UCI rules so they end up pushing the limits of what's possible!
beautiful build...
Thank you! What was your favourite part of the Dream Build?
Absolutely beautiful bike Gee! Pity that they're so damn expensive right now, pricing makes no sense to me. Hopefully it will change in the future.

@@GeeMilner hard to say really, I like all parts equally. Maybe installing tires on wheels? I like the popping sound they make.
i never thought i could use an x-wing as a handle bar XD, its kinda strange and yet is amazing, and mesmerising the building process

You know it's aero when first half of the video is dedicated to assembly of the bars.
Haha very true, huge part of a bike like this!
Simplesmente Fantástico...
It's good to watch something that I can't afford
Beautiful build! On bikes like this, how do you know how to assemble everything? Some is the same, but some is very manufacturer and model specific.
Good question! I guess we have many years of working with a variety of bicycles and experience from that!
I think I have seen some pretty weird looking bikes but I think this tops it for the weirdest looking bike I have ever seen
How much does it cost?

I think they designed the bike around the internal cable routing 😬🤪
It might look crazy but due to the wide cavity internally it was actually one of the easiest bikes we've ever routed!

To each his own I guess 🧐Maybe they should name it the Rectum One, looks painful to ride.
Super speed machine for competition only!
Acquired taste (frame) otherwise perfect video. What is the weight?
Definitely not for everyone but it's designed to be a pure speed, race machine!
20 k?

Why the front chainring isn't a perfect circle?
It's a Oval chainring from Absolute Black
