I'm sure George will make history of his own. What I meant was; this was the first birth where, if the baby had been a girl, she would be the crown princess and couldn't be surpassed by a younger brother.
Technically speaking, Princess Charlotte still made history in a sense as, if anything happens to George, she would be next in line to the throne even if they had another boy. Not expecting that to happen though.
So I was hoping for the first crown princess who's an automatic princess by being the first born and not one where they're waiting to see if a boy is born to surpass her. Maybe George will have a daughter in 20-30 years and have the first crown princess.

If Queen Elizabeth's younger sister had been a boy, she would have been surpassed. That's the difference between her and this birth had George been a girl.

Of course not. Because George was the first baby born after that law that (realistically speaking anyway) most people expect to be the king one day as he's the firstborn of William. I said it in the sense of that's what the baby would have been had George been a girl. "She" would have been the Crown Princess eventually after Charles passed and William became King.
