  • The Deuter AirContact Ultra 50 pack is a lightweight (2.8lbs) pack that has a lot of great features. Great suspension system. PFAS free DWR treatment and is very comofortable.
Plus it is on sale right now! Link here - snp.link/efb37ed4

Curious to see if and how you use this for winter travel. I use my Gregory Optic 48 in the Adirondacks and love everything about it aside from the lack of snowshoe attachment points for when there isn't enough snow down low vs. up high.

Hey friend! I used it for splitboarding and touring. Nothing too crazy. I know there is no dedicated avy gear pocket, nor good ski or snowshoe mounting points, so I would not recommend it for backcountry skiing. But I just had to get it loaded up and try it out when it came in. Had the itch! LOL. I am digging the new BCA Stash Pro 32 for actual splitboarding and backcountry travel. I should have a video up on that soon. It is actually quite nice for summer use too (I used it for a camera bag at the Outside Festival and for a few hikes).

Can you please elaborate on your comment? I am trying to figure out if you are talking trash or have a real question.

The way that you have that pack stuffed, and the manner in which you swing it without much effort, it is evident it is of a very light weight material, foam of some sort most likely.
Put a load of Buffalo chips in there and re-record your product review please. 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@ellerybice3787ahh yes. The classic bison poop pack. I see now. Thanks for clarifying.
I hope your next backcountry buffalo poop trip is a real good time!
      Thanks for stopping by.
Of course you know I mentioned stuffing the pack with lightweight gear for the video.
