📺 VIDEO DESCRIPTION- In this truck camper camping video I meetup to do a collaboration with the RUclipsr @natmoran. She is a full time nomad overlander living full time rv living in a small travel trailer. In this camping video online we camp in the American southwest (old west) in the state of Arizona in my truck camper renovation near the small town on Willams. While living in a slide in truck camper full-time with my dog Mason we make a campfire and cook some cheeseburger in a bowl. We go on an off road adventure to go explore the lava tube caves near Flagstaff Arizona.

Great collaboration video, two like minded folks enjoying an adventure together. I don't think Nat has to worry about trouble with 2 big boys 👍 That cave looked great, I was thinking don't slip/fall, those lava rocks are unforgiving. So it is a small logging operation on flat ground. The 4 large wheel rig is called a "Skidder" usually used on flat ground with smaller logs like the Pine trees their logging. Just a note for your viewers that don't know. During rain 🌧 or melting snow they cannot run the operation without scarring the ground. So their season is just during dry times but if the humidity drops to much they will be shut down do to forest fire conditions. 🔥

If anyone thats in the Williams area. The KOA east of there on hwy 40 was on undercover boss. The wife and I stayed there with our two boys around 8 years ago. We rented the mini log cabins. Well worth the stay. They even have two indoor spas and a huge swimming pool.
The lava caves are cool. It gets super cold and icy in there in winter. Always fun to explore.

@worklessenjoylifemore - I think that is the same lava tube my girlfriend and I went to living in Flagstaff back in 1990-1991. Crazy! Was waiting to see if it just sorta sloped down and ended and sure enough. Pretty wild. Thanks for the memories man! Miss Arizona.

The best way to roast a marshmallow is to hold it over the coals .it will brown,without burning. But don't underestimate how hot the coals are! Keep the marshmallow turning , like a rotisserie .

I do the same thing, we call it a Cheeseburger Salad, but I use Thousand Island for dressing. You know like a Big Mac. I like that too. Sometimes I throw some pickles and onions on it too.

I live in Flagstaff and I did that lava cave years ago. Went to the end. Then on the way out, I got a bit of a panic attack and couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Cool to say I did it, but I never want to do it again. LOL 😊

I used to do some spelunking, many years ago, and we always brought two flashlights each, with an extra set of batteries. This was before LEDs and we would wrap an extra light bulb in tissue and put it inside the front end of the flashlight. Can't take chances in a cave.
