We are going to be using RecPro too. We are upgrading our couch to recliners. We used vinyl in our house and there has been some separation over the years, although it wears well and cleans easy.
You guys are doing a great job for not having done this type of work. I’m excited that I found your channel, as I cannot wait to see what comes of the renovation. We purchased an RV last year and was considering switching our our couch for chairs. We are heading to the Oregon coast tomorrow doing our VLOG and talking about it. You are inspiring us to trying to do the project. So far we are loving your channel! Can’t wait to see more.😀
The slides have some kind of seal which probably consist of a flap type outer seal.and a bulb seal.. Make sure these are in good shape and are supple. You can get replacement seals and it isn't a huge thing to replace. All RVs leak. You have to watch each time it rains to make sure there is no ingress of water and.if there is attack that area and seal it up. Don't forget to exercise you diesel motor and generator frequently to make sure it dosent give you any issues. Good luck..
Hola from Colorado, super cold here these past days. Your Leak is probably coming from your slide seals if your husband already sealed the roof. Also, check the bottom of the driver slide from the outside for any bad wood. You may have to take the driver's window out if the water damage goes towards the front. The only thing holding the window is the two metal brackets on the inside and then, cut the caulk on top of the window on the outside. I did four of mine last year. Speaking of windows, I also noticed you have a gap on the bottom of the front side passenger window (Emergency exit?) and the frame of the window. You can get some Trim Lok brand foam weather stripping under it to fill the gap to prevent water and air leaks,. Great Job! Looking forward to your next video.
Wow now that’s a Reno. I want to rid my slides of carpet next, I will add waterproof vinyl plank flooring just like in our rv bedroom we love it so far!
My first thought was it must be a pain talking stuff in and out around the front seats. I think now looking back you wish you would have just bit the bullet and removed them first. In the long run and for durability I would be concerned if the vinyl flooring will hold up. Time will tell. Love watching your channel. Good luck with the renovation.
When I took apart engines, carbs, or any disassembly, I used inexpensive muffin pans. I placed the hardware into the pans in sequence on how the disassembly went. Then I reversed ordered the pans for reassembly.
That leak is coming from the roof. I would seal roof area with Dicor especially around living room slide. I had similar issue last summer. Also check silicone around driver side window. Water is coming off roof along slide into wall. I would address this before getting too far with reno!
I have roll out currently in the toy hauler I live in. It's not holding up. It has worn places, holes, and it tears and stretches very easily. I'm going to replace it with glue down CVT. It will be a lot of work, but it should last a lot longer.
We have a sticks and bricks house we stay in when not RVing. We Rv part time when our kids are not in school. Check out this video where we explain how we do RV life. ruclips.net/video/f3WxJkQzbO0/видео.html

Bagging and tagging!! That is how the big custom and reno shop's that you see do it as well. Super smart move!
It’s going to be an adventure, your going to be proud when it’s done.look at the couches that turn into a bunk.
Thanks!

Thanks for watching!
I prefer LVP. I put it in my diesel pusher in September. Big improvement over carpet and linoleum. It is a lot of work!
I agree Chuck. It might be a little bit more work but will look and hold up way better than the linoleum
You two are BRAVE! To tackle a project as big as this is nothing short of AMAZING! Good luck!!
Thanks!

Great idea!
@@GratefulGlamper you can do the same by pushing screws and some bolts through cardboard

Not to take away from all of the hard work, but the "Pizza Planet" T-shirt is awesome!

In one of your episodes, I seen you installed a electric cooktop where did you get it?
Where are you staying while doing the reno? Did you sell your house when you went full time or is this your home?

Y’all please pray for me Sandy. I lost my sense of taste a little over a hour ago. Pray that my son and husband don’t get it.
Praying 🙏🏻
