Sweet build! Wish companies would use you and others as consultants on what they should build, update, improve etc for us. Thanks for sharing your builds and insight
Thank you Brother 🤗. ARRMA does seek basher feedback and uses concepts, upgrade ideas, and suggestions for their RTR releases. I share my recommendations with them directly when I feel it is useful. They keep a good pulse on what guys are doing and what would be valued by the bashing community. 🍻
What an AWESOME build!!!! I knew you were up to something good when you had this idea!!!! Best handling ever?? WOW! That speaks VOLUMES! Thanks for letting us be a part of it!!! Killer Bash!!!
Thanks so much Brother Avery 🤗. The Motaliphon turned out super stable, fast, and simply a Crazy fun ripper!!! She handles amazing 😍. The M2C bits are at her heart and soul, and the backbone of her durability 💪. Truly appreciate it 🙏
definitely typhon es a game changer! a lego rc and you doing whatever you want with that plataform! for me the best rc so far hands down! thanks brotha for the video!! God bless bro
I said it on one of your other typhon videos , I NEED one of these in my life my next rig will absolutely be a 6s typhon built like this . Awesome build and superb bash as always 🤘🤘🤘 thanks for the inspiration
Thanks so much Richie 🤗. I think you'd enjoy the speed and handling of this Motaliphon. She really gets the power down and fly's like a bird. Truly appreciate it Brother.🍻
I've been watching your videos for years and just wanted to say I love watching your Fulsom Lake running videos. My Gramee used to live in Granite Bay, about 3 minutes from where you film. And it just brings back great memories. Thanks for everything you do and have done for the hobby and I'll keep watching.
Thanks so very much Brother 🙏. Folsom Lake is one of my favorite places no question. Not just for bashing, but hiking, fishing, and just enjoying the scenery. I feel relaxed and one with the outdoors. Feel blessed to live nearby and it's awesome to hear about your memories with your Gramee 😍🤙🤙
Leave it to you Rich to come up with Another Awesome Frankenstein Build!! The M2C chassis is the foundation that supports all this. Like you said Tuning is the key with all the different parts. Nothing like a Custom build!! That Bad Boy Rips!! Great combination to make a better handling Buggy!! Stay safe my Friend and Bash on from Colorado!!
Thanks so much Ervin 🤗. Been thinking about doing this for awhile and glad I pulled the trigger. M2C 7075 is definitely the foundation to this ripper 😍. Super stoked she turned out fast and agile and really impressed with the budget QuicRun 😱🤙🤙. Truly appreciate the kind words as always Brother 🍻
Nice 😍. The Mega Kraton is such a Beast!!! Absolutely LOVE mine with the crazy Max4 12s combo 😂. M2C has made an incredible contribution to our hobby🍻🤙🤙
Awesome job on the new build Rich looks and handles awesome. And definitely Mitch and Avery from M2c make these cars super durable for xtreme bashing. Definitely a must when you’re going all out. Thanks for sharing and have an awesome weekend, my friend ✌️💪👊👊
Thanks so very much Brother Aldo 👊. I felt like I was missing out with the Asuga, but not anymore. Stoked this combo of bits turned out fast and dialed. Huge thanks to Mitch and Avery for everything they do 🙏. The fun we enjoy wouldn't be possible without their awesome upgrades. It's cold and rainy here now so I'm grateful I got out 😂. Have an awesome weekend my friend!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
Wicked build Rich! You re really making me regret selling 2 6S Typhons man. This thing looks like it handles and performs beautifully. I ve never driven the Asuga but I would choose this all day. Right on Rich, thanx for another solid vid!
Thanks so much Brother Phil 👊. Super impressed with the handling of these ripper 😍. I'd rather have this over the Asuga any day 🚀🚀. Truly appreciate it my friend 🍻🤙🤙
Awesome vid rich! Have you thought about doing a video series of you putting builds like these together? Would love to watch the progress and trial and error with these kind of builds!
Thanks so very much Brother 🤗. Yes I have, however, I like to keep moving once I start these builds and it takes considerably longer to film it. I will one of these days. 👍
So awesome brother🔥 I built one similar to that about year ago based off your truggified Typhon builds except I used Kraton EXB chassis(need an M2C😏)with center brace and all. I run it with belted Katars sometimes. I call it the Super Typhon💪🚀😂. You're always an inspiration brother💯
Thanks so much Dhon 🤗. This "Motaliphon" turned out better than I had imagined 😍. She's a screamer with precise handling. Truly appreciate it Brother 🙏
Very nice build great job 👏 a lot of similarities to my Typhon build with Mojave arms Kraton knuckles and hubs and the same 2000kv combo with a 19t pinion. I run TLR shocks with Kraton springs and 70wt and it's just right. Great flyer, fast and nimble. Sweet man bash on brother 👊
Nice little certified ripper. That quicrun g2 combo has got to be, in my opinion the best 6s combo for the price. I run it in my corally shogun v2 and it's fantastic.
Thank you Brother 🤗. Had this QuicRun sitting in the garage for several months. For 125$, I figured it'd be a good spare. Super impressed with the performance for the price 😱!!! Great to hear you've had solid results with it my friend. 🍻
Nice brother, similar to my Typhon XL build I did last year but you used more Typhon parts I used more Mojave, and Yours is wider with the Kraton Knuckles... Seems very stable and dialed. This thing don't Bash like that without M2C👍 Good to see ya my friend
Thanks so much Brother Dennis 🤗. I'm digging the stance and balanced feel of this ripper!!! Super impressed with the budget QuicRun 2000kv G2 😱. Plenty fast with a 21T with no temp issues. I long wanted a 4274 2000kv from Hobbywing. M2C has made harder bashing possible 💪. Big props to Mitch and Avery and the other aftermarkets. 🍻🤙🤙
Nice build rich I’m waiting on new updated talion exb just added some new proline badlands for that truggy look on the new typhon grom blx she amazing the typhon is just so versatile
Thank you Brother 🤗. I was set on using the beautiful, aero Typhon body because they're easy to mount and source and as is this build to complete for anyone so inclined. 🍻🤙🤙
when i just built my typhon i 1st used my hot racing kraton hubs but i had to go back to stock because the pivot balls were locking up when the suspension was hanging i have some vitavon hubs on the way that are for it i wanted the wider stance so if i wanted to run 2.8 mt tires for now tho im running buggy tires i have enough mt lol i wanted another buggy but will see might end up with some m2c hex extenders at some point when im bored with the buggy tires lol thanks for sharing it looks killer
Thanks so very much Brother 🤗. Think I've heard that before with the HR hubs. I like sticking with the stockers because I rarely bust my hubs. Getting the geometry right can be challenging. I had to put the red aluminum caps back on my Mojave arms at the pillow balls to get proper droop and steering with this build. The M2C +5mm hexes are awesome for a bit more clearance and stability. 🍻🤙🤙
On my xl sized Typhon I made, I also used a Kraton chassis, with Mojave arms, though I ended running with a Limitless body chopped up to look as much like a Typhon as I could manage, also I went with the traditional truggy size pin tires to maintain the buggy look, I forget what shocks I went with, but I stuck with the Talion shock towers, and got the chassis slap, stance, and suspension I was looking for (I'm pretty sure mine is shorter on all 4 corners, probably all fronts, just forgot what from).
Nice run Rich. I've often wondered while watching some of you videos..... the bash spot you use in the first part of the video with the giant empty parking lot, sand flat area, cars and water in the background.....where is this located and what do they use the giant parking lot for? cheers, kev

They're awesome speed wheels 😱🚀🚀. A bit stiff, but do soften up once broken in. Hopefully the plastic Proline Raid hexes have improved. I bought their alloy ones because my plastics kept cracking. No issues with the 8s 24mm ones on my MX58's.
Thanks so very much 🤗. My Talion looks completely different from stock with the Basherqueen Desert Racer conversion kit. The stance is slightly narrower with this build and the shock geometry is radically different from the stock Talion. This build feels a bit more responsive and quicker. @richduperbash2966 cool thanks for the responding I can tell im gonna learn alot from your channel all your cars are beefed up with top quality parts I just went for my first big run with my kraton stock everything it held up but my esc crashed on me after the motor ran hot for the first time cuts out after i hit the trottle and keeps restarting, not sure what that was and my jumps weren't as near good as yours but I'll get there in time im working on my editing game so hopefully I'll pop up in the game with some slick vids like yours soon i learn this editing stuff 🤦♂️😫 can't wait to upgrade my stuff but yeah I'm watching thanks for all the info and knowledge 🤙
@thurm7440 you bet Brother 👊. Yeah unfortunately I've had some Spectrum ESC's dud out before. Horizon will replace it if you email their customer service department. 🍻
Looking for your opinion. I had a traxxas maxx and it was a good basher but decided I wanted better handling. Got the Kraton and fell in love. I sold the maxx as its driving style is just not for me. I like the high speed nimble off-road experience the Kraton gives. But I want to have a backup to my Kraton without just owning two of the same trucks. What other models would you recommend?
Man that's a tough question. The K6s really is a must have and awesome all around basher. The Talion 6s is a phenomenal handler, but I'm not sure what's going on with inventory. The Outcast is a thought, but it does wheelie a lot as a short wheelbase stunt truck. You could consider building a 1/7 scale "Kraton XL" with the Mojave chassis, braces, and center driveshafts. Just have to sort what body to use. It makes for a killer handler and better for high speed control than the regular Kraton. Really boils down to personal preference and the terrain you run to some extent. 🍻
Yo rich, what motor should I throw in my outcast 6s v1 ? I have a max 6 esc in but the stock v1 Arrma motor, it’s heavy, m2c chassis & braces. It does have the m2c slide motor mount too
I would consider a 4082 1720kv with maybe a 20T pinion. The KingVal, Rocket, and Hobbystar likely all come from the same manufacturer. They look identical. Great motor with plenty of power. The cables are just long enough to reach the Max6. You might have to fudge the ESC over just a pinch depending on how it's mounted. a.co/d/iQgNYyE
I dry clean with an air compressor at a minimum. Mud or wet bashes (or periodically after enough dusty runs) I water rinse, spray with 50/50 Simple Green and water, and use scrub brushes to deep clean and thoroughly rinse. Use a shop blower and air compressor to dry, spray all bearings with WD-40 Silicone spray and then run briefly. Oil bearings as needed during maintenance.
No I didn't. Been working all week and just saw some release tidbits earlier. Not convinced the clipless body will work or the new pillow ball caps, but props to ARRMA for trying to progress with their BLX RTR's. Hope this wasn't a rushed pre-Christmas release with minimal real world bash testing 🤔
I have a stock TLR tuned typhon roller and a bone stock 6s typhon blx rtr. I want to truggify the blx because it looks like the perfect offroad rig for my style. But I really want a B.A. street basher 6s typhon is well. Should i do that with the tlr roller or to streamline spare parts and things.. Should I get another blx typhon and set it up for street bashing? I hope that made sense and i appreciate the help
@@FishHardGetLuckyI'm not sure you need a third Typhon 6s, but it wouldn't hurt either 😂. The easiest way to Truggify your Typhon is to swap on Kraton hubs, hexes, and stub axles. Even cheaper is just getting extended hexes and 2.8MT style wheels. It's better for your bearings and overall strength to go the original route. You could easily get some Hoons to do street ripping or consider doing a full street build with stiffer short Infraction shocks and towers if you chose to.
That combo be careful. 1st one I got had no reverse the replacement lasted 2 batteries then died halfway through the 2nd pack. The 4s version has been perfect for months though
