Hi Good to see you here. Previously I had commented on your Rodulf desk in your other channel -UNBOX & BEYOND.
So may I know your comparison between the two - Rodulf and Idasen, which one is more stable when intended to use it in the standing position?
Also could you please provide the minimum length(Left to Right) that can be attained in the Idasen model? I tried looking for it on the website, but its nowhere mentioned.
I have space constraints and I am struggling to find a height adjustable underframe to suit around 91 cm in length. As a last resort I should have to alter the metal frame and sacrifice the 10 year warranty.
Hi @spelling mistakes9591, so nice to see that you have referred my both videos in 2 separate channel. If I would have to choose between these two I will go with Idasen.
I am using Idasen Table from 3 years without any issue, however for Rodulf I faced issue once with motor failure and I got it changed in Ikea. I felt
Idasen is more stable as compared to Rodulf because of its frame design. Plus you can adjust the height of the desk via Bluetooth download desk control app download from Google Playstore or AppleStore

Which is not in the case for Rodulf.
Also idasen has an Industrial look, design which I like the most.
Below are the measurements for Idasen.

You can buy only the underframe and can buy Table Top Separately of your own measurements.

I want this desk they dont sell it on UK ikea in the grey colour unfortunately
@a6m yes I was also color specific, but after using this desk from close to 2 yrs, I would say its a great desk and worth every penny. So if you take out the color option this desk will add great value to your work culture.

How durability? After months/years marks sratches?
@Matthewwdicksoncrusher5592 w.r.t stability this Desk is great and my absolutely favorite. The table top is also decent enough I have no scratches as such. However I am not satisfied with the table top quality as it is not solid wood. But it defientely good enough for regular day to day work. May be 2-3 years down the line I will change the Table top with solid wood. Hope this helps do subscribe my channel as this helps me to grow.

@redenpacay YES this table can easliy handle to 70Kg so it is capable of carrying 3 27inch monitors.

Can we connect a UBS cable from the laptop to the desk's height controller ?
@trakba unfortunately not, you cannot connect a USB cable for height control instead you can download an app called Desk Control App bit.ly/3i7hv1b

Is this expensive desk worth the cost?
@Trakba I am using this desk from past 2 yrs and have no issues with the Table as well as with the electric motors for height adjustment.
the only drawback which I personally feel is the Table top is not made up of solid wood so feels light. But you can change it with customizable wooden top in future.

@@trakba yes ofcourse whenever I get tired of sitting I increase the height to use it as a standing desk. Ergonomically this desk helps a lot.
Lol looks like the table is taking off the floor with all that noise like an aircraft. Is Ikea selling cheap stuff in India, here they dont make such loud noises...
