@rufdymond the table top is fine.. have a dual monitor setup edge mounted and no bending pr deformity. the motor jerks some times recently. May require oiling
It just happened to be the same size as the cross bar. Taped it on using 3m command strips so its removable if needed: www.command.com/3M/en_US/command/
Is mounting fine on the Idasen table top? A lot of people say that it’s cheap vaneer and not wood which destroys the table top if you are mounting heavy monitors.
Well i have this old and heavy 12 kg 32 inch monitor mounted on it for 8 months now and there is zero sign of any bending. The Idasen top is solid. Have kept multiple heavy payloads over it many times for multiple days. It has a solid thud sound on knocking it if you get what i mean.. If you want further confidence.. i am quite heavy myself and i lean on it while standing most of the time and it hasnt bent a micron

try unscrewing, adjusting the nut and rescrewing lol.. it does go in completely. or maybe your piece is defective.. in that case just brute force it! haha
I was using github.com/DWilliames/idasen-controller-mac at that time but the paid app apps.apple.com/us/app/desk-remote-control/id1509037746 is much better.. However I’ve now connected it to google assistant and home assistant using github.com/j5lien/esphome-idasen-desk-controller and a ESP32 chip

Depends on your monitor mount. Mine doesnt shake at all

It is not at all like those cheap particle board tv cabinet woods which bend even on keeping an xbox (i have one which has)
If anything my cheap amazon monitor mount arm itself has bent due to the monitor’s weight

Yes, indeed huge. Its an old generation monitor. Absolutely no warping on bending on the table
