    He did not win Wimbledon but we all know he played like a champ in those matches.

      If he played anyone other than Fed in those finals, He would have won most if not all of them.

      4 finals in grand slams and 3 semis all stopped by fed. Fed knows his game too well...

      He honestly deserved one Wimbledon. We could say he would win 5 if he didn't have to face Federer in the finals but I'm not a fan of hypotheticals. I'm happy he's a Grand Slam Champion, but he deserved to have multiple. 2 would have further solidified his heartfelt legacy 🇺🇸

    I look at this kid 15 years old but tall n strong.
    I said that he was definitely going to be a top player ..He was akid hitting balls with his dad daily ...He was so talented it was just going to happen. I never spoke to him,he was in his own world w his dad n I didn't want to interfere
    %I would watch them hit balls on my breaks it was amazzzing w his golf visor on ...

    Anyone else interpret it this way
    I got to guard Jordan - Djokovic
    I went the distance with Ali - Murray
    I pitched to Babe Ruth - Nadal
    I saw what it was like to watch Picasso - Federer

    • @dogdaybreak3157
      @dogdaybreak3157 6 лет назад +11

      No, he meant that he actually guarded Michael Jordan. He fought Ali. He pitched to Babe Ruth. And he watched a documentary on Picasso.

    If he was Belgian or Scottish he would have been inducted in 2030 or maybe later. The fact that he is north american is the difference. Sorry but that is the way i interpret his accolade.

      Are you sure nationality has to do with it? I know as an American citizen myself that the US has a lot of privilege. However, I think we need to recognize his impact to the game of tennis. He clearly placed himself in the history books. At the very least, he deserved and earned the right to be a Hall of Famer!!!!
