Thank YOU for watching!
XOXO!

You are one of the few influencers that does this communication concept right ! You talk like you are talking to one person and to me directly. It’s more intimate…glad you are here not glad you guys are here…see the difference. . I was in radio for many years and a key communication point is to talk like you are talking to one person. Same scenario here. You don’t here dj’s saying “you guys”. It’s one of the hidden keys to your success! Well done!
Wow, thank you! I didn't realize this :)
Love a good mascara for confidence. It instantly changes your face if you don’t have time to do anything else.
If possible, I have a rule of three: Brows, mascara, lipstick.... the bare minimum of put together ❤️
@@coffeebeforemascara correct. It's just 2 for me. Mascara and lipstick. And when time is too too tight, just lips. 😅
Absolutely! I completely agree that if I were stranded and could have only one makeup item, it would be mascara! Then again, I’d probably want food, water, and shelter instead😂 but you get it! Mascara opens the eyes and makes them look so “awake.”
@@ArtistJane which mascara do you recommend for sparse and straight lashes?
@@sandraherrera8351 I would recommend Essence’s Lash Princess in Sculpted Volume. It creates thick lashes and separates them. I always run a lash comb through any mascara to get rid of any clumps, etc. If you have the budget for it, the new About Face 1994 mascara is a true performance mascara. Length, volume, no flaking, etc. I wasn’t crazy about it at first but then I grew to really love it.
Hi from the UK. Can't always get the products you use but love watching your videos. I'm 69 years old and have used makeup since I was 16! Still learned a lot from you. Thanks Zabrena. Xxx mascara is my go to confidence boosting product xxx
I love love love the fellowship I feel when we share with each other. Thank you, Zabrena
I love when I do my eyes with the Lorac Unzipped palette. The colors are perfect for me, and it boosts my confidence.
My confidence boosting product is a red lip, specifically KVD Beauty liquid lip in Outlaw. I get compliments every time I wear it, and at 57 it makes me feel sassy!
Love your content, Zabrena. You are a class act.
Estee lauder doublewear foundation is my confidence boosting makeup. It gives great coverage and a natural finish without looking too heavy.
For your confidence boosting video, I would recommend the Milani Baked Powder Blush in Luminoso. I believe it's a dupe for the Nars Orgasm blush. It gives me the perfect flush of color on my face so I don't appear dead on no makeup days! Hope you like it too.
Same here I love the Manali baked powder blush in luminoso🎨 it's perfect for no makeup days with a little bit of mascara and the Maybelline lifter gloss💄🌻have a good day 🌻
@@cynthiacampbell5011 This bush is also my confidence booster! I just LOVE it! I am curious which shade of the lifter gloss you wear with it? Thanks so much!
@@Patti-1962 well it depends on what mood I am in but the shade Moon is so beautiful it goes with almost any eye look but it just depends on what color you like 🙃 all of them are beautiful I have all of the colors lol 😅🎨💄
At 62 yrs old my foundation is what boosts my confidence for sure!! No 7 Restore and Renew is perfect every time and believe me, with aging skin it’s hard to find a foundation I love!!!❤
Try the moister rescue by bare minerals, very light and hydrating
absolutely HANDS DOWN, best foundation I found for the aging skin!!!!!! No. 7 is heaven for me
My confidence booster makeup is either the Fuchsia or Emeralds eyeshadow palettes from Profusion. I always get compliments when wearing either of those palettes.
Just curious- what color eyes do you have- I also have the Emeralds palette and need to pull it out more, be more adventurous!
My two confidence boosters would have to be the Nyx Butter glosses in the shades "Tiramisu" and "Bit of Honey" because of how easy they are to just throw in my purse and go, they're the perfect nude shades for a light complexion like mine. And affordable so that pretty much anyone can get them. I highly recommend them!
Tiramisu, soft matte lip cream in Athens, and butter gloss fortune cookie are such great nudes!
Yes I agree. I'm loving the Cinnamon roll one right now.
Thank you to all the contributors and dupes provided!!! I had quite the shopping list after this video 💋
Nothing in my routine gives me more confidence than setting with the Wet n Wild photofocus powder- totally blurs out my texture for perfected skin! 💜
Just wanted to say you're the only makeup RUclipsr I keep coming back to, even years after I first discovered your videos (through your brilliant Historically Accurate series).
I just love your personality/style of video making and you always look absolutely fabulous!
I all but stopped wearing makeup a few years ago, but I'm aiming to get back into the swing of it, so lately I've been watching your videos to get some inspiration.
Lots of love to you! 💖
Ladies who shared your dupes: MVP🏆
I love the laura mercier caviar stick in moonlight in my waterline.love it every time
Thank you for the Pixi pencil dupe! I go thru UD pencils so quickly so this will save me tons of money!
My confidence booster is the e.l.f Hydrating Camo Concealer. I can put this on and feel like I look so awake and bright. Sending love! ❤
Does a little go a long way with that concealer? I’ve always been curious!
@@ArtistJane very much so!
Mascara.... No matter how I feel, mascara gives me that invincible boost of confidence!
I love your energy and enthusiasm, just too fun. What a great amount of dupes you have today, another reason to love your videos. I can’t wait to try some of these if not all of them. Thank You for putting all of this together and thank you to everyone that shared them with you. ❤
As someone with smaller round eyes a sharp eyeliner look just adds so much confidence for me !
Drugstore dupe vids are my favorite. Thank you! 💕❤️💕
To be honest, the thing that makes me feel like a million dollars EVERY time, is popping on my "White Lie" Inky Minky Lashes! They're so comfortable and look so natural that I can wear them without doing a whole face full of makeup. They make me feel glamorous without any effort ❤
I’m a new viewer but your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites! I’m a natural blond with fair skin but recently dyed my hair ginger and have been struggling with the right makeup to complement my hair, eyes, and skin tone. Your videos are so helpful and I love your expressions of faith!
My highest confidence booster is mascara, but a close second is bronzer. Something about it makes me feel so glowy and beautiful.
I love eyeshadow it’s my number one confidence boosting makeup product I love creating looks and just feeling beautiful
I am a 62 years young mom and grandmother. I got back into make up about 2 years ago. I would have to say that the confidence booster for me are strip lashes. Opens my eyes and makes them look bigger. Just a quick confession - I just started using strip lashes about a week ago and love them!! Thank you for all you do.😊
Thank you for being so real! Too many people on TikTok nowadays doing brand promos and using endless filters, no true reviews.
Using my hourglass blush makes me feel like a million bucks! I'm not the type to normally spend $42 on a blush but took the jump and treated myself, and it makes me feel beautiful and glowy every time I use it 🤗
My confidence booster is the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream. I’m a fair redhead and I wear No. 21. I absolutely love the way it makes my skin look. It covers the redness that I struggle with (especially around my nose) but doesn’t look heavy or cakey. It wears really nicely on my normal skin and looks so pretty and natural throughout the day. I pair it with the Elf Power Grip Primer and the Wet n’ Wild Photofocus powder and I feel confident all day.
There are two products that make me feel confident.... one is the Milani blush in Luminoso. The color and glow just suit my skin tone, and makes me feel so pretty. The other is the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator. I love the way my skin looks with this product, over every foundation or skin tint I have tried!!
Definitely a mascara with killer lashes and also a good pink lipstick gives me confidence. Have a great week x
I've been following your channel since foreverrrrrrrrr...I wanted you to know that coming here and watching your videos is such a happy and comfortable feeling for me... your voice is so calming, your vibe is so highly positive and pleasant all the time. I ADORE your personality and channel so much 🤍🤍
The biggest confidence booster I've bought recently was the Essence "Welcome to Miami" palette. I was looking for a green/teal/turquoise to see how well I could rock it; and not only was this the only palette I could find with what I was looking for, but it ended up being a great, easy to use palette for me to really experiment with out-there colours on my eyes. Extremely important for me when I'm doing my concert photography and need to look like a rock star!
t
I've been wanting that palette for minute! I saw it on Robert Welsh's channel like 6 months ago & have been checking for it to be in stores ever since. I just went to Ulta but chickened out because I've never tried Essence eyeshadows before. Do you like the quality? I saw a couple others that I really liked so now I'm indecisive 😫
@@nicolemontalvo4560 I think they're good quality! I got all of those mini-palettes that are $5 or something, and they're all very vibrant and long lasting. The Miami palette in particular has this shimmery turquoise that goes for days and I adore it!
I have just recently started using the Danessa Myrick balm foundation and I am obsessed! I am an oily girl, like an oil slick oily girl, that has never found a foundation or foundation/primer mix that kept me matte. I am an ER nurse and have 16 hour days and I stay matte ALL day with this foundation. I use a very light application and a very light dusting of the wet and wild loose powder over top. And I feel like a million bucks!
THANKS for sharing your “find” & tips with us!😊
Anything that makes the skin appear to have an even tone is my confidence booster. I have a little redness on my cheeks and nose that I like to tone down. The products I use are either Numbuzin 3 Porcelain Base-Skip Tone Up Beige (has spf 50 so it’s multifunctional) or any powder that has a little bit of color ❤
Yes a little left over foundation in my sponge or brush on the tip of my nose.
A bold red lip never fails to make me feel like a boss. My favourite red lip pies include: Maybelline matte ink in Pioneer and Maybelline matte lipstick in rich ruby.
What a great set of adorable budget savers. This community is so bomb!🤗 Actually my thing isn't make-up, it's my leather bracelet with an aromatherapy charm. Whenever I need a little cool down I sip from my water bottle and get a whiff of Mint & Rosemary by Windmere. It helps with my migraine too!
Be blessed chica!!!! Absolutely LOVE your channel!!
Love these money saving dup vids. Better in my pocket than theirs. Thanks, Z.
I use a lot of these dupes. The L’Oreal True Match Serum Foundation is my favorite. I also use the ELF setting spray and the ELF hydro grip primer. My makeup stays put and still looks great 12 hours later. That says a lot for my old lady skin :)
Love, Concealer and eyeliner , just makes me look good and brightens up my face 😊
My confidence boosting product is foundation for sure. I have a lot of discolouration on my face, brown spots etc and I really feel self conscious about it.
Wow!! This may have been my fave episode. Fantastic dupes! Keep them coming! Thank you for taking your time and money, and for being willing to try all these products for us in public view. You are truly the best.
Hey Zabrena! Love this video, and your eye look today! Along those rosy-plummy lines, my favorite confidence booster is my only high-end eyeshadow, a four-pan palette by Chanel. Gorgeous mauvey-plummy velvet sheen. I don't have quite the same finish in any other eyeshadows; this is truly luxe! Thanks for your energy and inspiration!
Love, love, love this dupe idea/input from your viewers.💛⭐️💛 By the way your hair and makeup look amazing in the video.💛 Thank you!
My confidence booster is definitely mascara. It immediately opens the eyes. Specifically I love essence lash princess. I use the green tube, but I've heard they are all good.
My confidence boosting product is Mally's face defender. It's kind of an unusual pick, but I love it because it blurs the fine line on my face, (I'm 57), and makes my skin look even. And Liz Taylor said a fabulous pair of sunglasses and lip gloss is all you need, which I do often... haha!
Being 67 years old with previously over plucked brows that are now mostly silver …. you guessed it. My brows make me feel “done”. Desert must have.
Oooooh, I love that Essence Mosaic blush.
Yes! I've never seen that Essence Mosaic blush. It's beautiful 😍
@@coffeebeforemascara you have the best screen name ever ❤️
@@annomaly751 Wow, so do you! You get to have just your name! You must work at RUclips heh-heh 😄
I love the Maybeline ink crayon and I have the color lead the way! I sometimes use it as a lip liner or just all over my lips!
Must have confidence booster,Eybrow pencil.
Eye embrace color: Ginger LOVE IT!
Really enjoyed this! A big thank you to you and to your viewers who supplied the names of the dupes. 😊
My confidence booster is the NYX XXL LIp LIngerie Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Strip'd Down! I feel like these are so underrated. They last all day without making my lips look, or feel crusty. And the formula is so lightweight. I can barely feel them on my lips. :)
I'd say the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Madrid is my confidence booster. It's such a perfect shade of red and if I apply it lightly I can get a nice berry tone. Super comfy on the lips and does not dry them out !
I love your videos and full of information and sparkling personality.
My most confident makeup boosting product lately is the Nyx color corrector for under eye paired with their serum concealer. I'm 58, and my under eyes have never looked better. The other game changer is doing like you do, and putting my eyeshadow on first. It's made a huge difference in how my under eyes look.!!!
confidence boosting makeup is nyx lip liner in nude beige, the PERFECT brown toned liner if you're super pale! paired with the covergirl honeyed bloom lipstick ( a dupe for mac creme cup i believe!!) or the nyx this is milky gloss ( the light pink one!)a pair of fluffy lashes, cozy from inky minky 😉 or boldfacemakeup major moment, and kylie cosmetics winter kissed blush. my go tos that always make me feel my best in my makeup 😘🖤
Loved this video sooo much! I just turned 62 and after two and a half years in isolation I need a makeup update; thanks for the shopping list. 😊Could you do a video on lip plumpers? I’ve been trying to find one that really works, but with a matte finish, and have been unsuccessful so far.
I'm testing one for a video soon that is supposed to last 12 hours!
Going to cheat a little and give two confidence boosters 😉 The Rare Beauty mascara and the Bare Minerals blonzer in “kiss of pink”. I could never be without these two 🥰
I have freckles and a good foundation is all I need to have confidence to leave the house. Mascara as well. Those were the only 2 things I wore up till a year ago lol. Thanks to videos from you and a few others, I’m finally feeling confident in applying a full face of stuffs.
Love this video. Definitely gonna try the L’Oréal foundation. Thanks!!!
Thank you, gorgeous! If I had to pick just one.. it would probably be L’Oréal lash paradise.. it gives my short lashes the right volume and curl that I feel it makes my eyes stand out more. A close second is MAC fix plus because in this time of humidity and mask wearing it just seems to keep everything in place for the most part of the day. 😅😊
This was great !!! Thank you Z and thank you to those who shared their info SO Helpful !! Cheers !
My confidence booster is my Clinique Black Honey, but I also love wearing the dupes for it as well.
A nice red/deep wine lip and a black winged eyeliner and a great mascara for full lashes! It always makes me feel amazing and that is a big deal for me because I suffer from depression.
I thoroughly enjoyed these dupes! Thank you
Just love your videos Zabrena! Blessings to you and your family.
My most confidence boosting makeup product is probably the Mac Studio fix powder foundation. I never thought I would love a powder foundation as much as I do especially for being someone on the drier side. I actually even love it more than the liquid foundation. I would love for you to do a full face of Mac video. I know it’s not drugstore but still. It would be cool to see lol
My most confidence boosting makeup item is sadly not drugstore. But every time I wear the ND Glam palette I feel so pretty, it always looks so flattering and blends effortlessly
I recently found the Neutrogena color correcting concealer in Peach. It's creamy and not drying under the eyes. I pop a lil bit of Maybelline Age Rewind concealer on too (just to brighten) fill in my brows and I'm ready to go! I feel much more confident when i dont look so sleep deprived lol.
I kept my ud spray bottle and just refilled it with the elf spray. Thank you for the video! 👍🧡👍🧡
I’m so glad that I found your channel. Have you ever found a dupe for the Estée Lauder’s Double Wear Makeup?
Old 90s trick. I love to put a maroon or reddish brown eyeliner in my lower waterline. Makes the blue of my eyes pop.
Perfume for confidence absolutely. I overheard my granddaughter telling her mom that I always smelled so pretty.
I would say the tiniest bit of good quality & well placed glitter makes me feel like "look at me world!" LOL! I'm thinking of the Profusion liquid liner that is basically clear with sparkles... can't remember the name right now. I use it with blue & silver eyeshadow at Christmas & it seems like pretty snow on my eyes! ❄ ❄❄
Bling It On - in Precious Opal! That's it. One draw back: you MUST keep your eyes closed while it dries. Do one eye at a time & be careful with it because it can be irritating.
My confidence booster is definitely a full face of makeup (especially foundations, eyebrows and mascara) BUT what really pulls it all together and makes me feel extra pretty and confident is both the Essence Pure Nude Highlighter on my cheeks and the Flower Beauty Highlighting trio on my cupids bow and bridge of the nose. I'm extremely oily and wear pretty matte longwear foundations so that little boost of a healthy, very natural glow makes everything look so pretty.
I have two confidence boosting products lol. One is the ELF Halo Glow loose setting powder. It gives a glow from within look, it’s very settle but so so pretty. My other one is Milani Make It Last Dewy setting spray. It can be a bit much when you first spray it but I love it when it dries down and it keeps me dewy all day/night. It’s so pretty as well.
Love the L’Oréal tinted serum! I couldn’t believe that it actually lasted over 8 hours on my super oily skin. I got it from cvs (where I usually shop for makeup) for $7 after using the coupons.
The Dior blush shade reminds me of the Flower beauty blush bomb in the shade bubbly (my fav shade for winter and love that it’s long lasting).
I’m so happy I get to see and comment on your video this early I always get to see them a week later. Always love them and all the helpful information you give 🥰🙏🏼
Loved this video! You just saved me so much money lol As far as confidence boosting makeup goes - bareminerals complexion rescue and hourglass ambient lighting powder always do the trick! My more affordable options are NYX's micro brow pencil and their lip liner in red hot. 💄
Wow! Love your eye look! Would love a tutorial on it. Thank you. This was a great video.
Thank you so much sabrena for all these amazing videos ❤ I always found your tips very useful and never go makeup shopping before watching some of them to note down the products I need to grab! For confidence, the one and only product I'd need is my mac lipstick in the color diva. I use it as blush, lip tint, eye shadow, and it get me ready for a night out just by applying it the classic way ❤ I hope it gets mentioned in your next video 😁😍
My go-to is a lip tint!! It gives my lips some ✨drama✨ and somehow it makes my whole face look put together and classy! My favourite (by FAR) is the discontinued Colourpop/Animal crossing lip tint in coconut juice - it's this perfect wine red tint with these perfect brown undertones, it's perfect!!!
Loreal Lash Paradise mascara and Sephora Lip Stain in Always Red...all you can ever need for that confidence boost!
For confidence I do a quick 2 minute routine!!
1. IT Nude glow - best bb with glow, evens tone without concealer !
2. Lancome mocha Havana on cheeks - rusty bronze blush with shimmer so it’s a 3 in 1
3. IT Superhero mascara - builds quickly
4. Benefit 24 hr brow setter - stays all day
5. Clinique black honey - universal shade
I’m sure there’s drugstore dupes for all of this. But this is my quick routine that when I look in the mirror I’m like, wow, she’s pretty! Lol
You know, it is truly amazing how these drugstore brands compete equally with the higher end brands and SLAY it!!!! I can afford it but would NEVER pay $50 for a bottle of foundation and it would make me scream knowing there was a $16 dupe!!! Thank you ALL for your dupes!!!❤ I will definitely be saving this video for future reference!!!
You’re a WISE woman! Have a GREAT weekend!😘
Zabrena..I laughed to myself when you asked which products make us feel confident all the time. Mine is old school..it's the Urban Decay Moondust. I have a drawer of them and a few other products in there that are similar. It's my favorite drawer. I think you were going to donate your Moondust palette one time..then you decided to keep it.. I don't know if you ever used it..but I LOVE Moondust.
Blush is the product that makes me feel vibrant and lights up my whole face.
Oh I’m soooo happy you tried out the essence mosaic blush! It looks kind of intimidating in the pan, but it’s a $5 identical dupe! Woohoo ❤🎉 My personal confidence boosting makeup item is the flawless brightening concealer from ELF in fair 10c. I feel like short of color correcting underneath, it’s great for everyday undereye concealing. It’s underrated and came recommended by Robert Welsh.
2nd one would be mascara: I’ve recently discovered the 1994 mascara by About Face. At first I didn’t know if I really loved it, but I tried your tip from a few videos ago where you apply the mascara to the tips first, middle, and base. This is Halsey’s brand, so all of their makeup is worn onstage and has to last under those hot lights. I use a lash comb after and the results are all day very pigmented black mascara that won’t budge, smudge, flake, and is water/sweat proof. There’s something so special about it! God bless! ❤❤❤❤
Yay! I'm so early thank you for your affordable recommendations I've been watching your channel for years now and I've always loved how helpful you are and how much money you helped us save🙂♥️💗 God bless you and your friends and family 🥰😍🥰
So happy I found you. Thank you to all that suggested the dupes, Zabrena for showing us they match. I feel confidence as long as I have a basic face of makeup on.
For me, I can leave the house barefaced and what not but MUST have my eyebrows done. My normal eyebrows are nonexistent (no I never plucked them, it's just a genetic thing I got from my mom's side of the family) and making sure these are done before I leave the house is the ultimate confidence boost for myself. My favorite eyebrow pencil at the moment is from a Korean brand called Eglips. The color selection is pretty crappy so I got lucky that the brand happens to have a shade that matches my natural brow hairs.
That last blush! Gorgeous!
I have blonde eyelashes, so mascara is my biggest confidence booster. I love the Essence Lash Princess in the green tube and Lash It Loud from Elf. The BEST highlighter is Milani’s Strobelight in the shade Afterglow. And a red lip is a must. Maybelline’s Siren in Scarlet or Red for Me are the best!
Love a good Frugal Friday!!!
I get headaches from a lot of different brands of mascara, and my daughter told me to try the Maybelline Fan effect, and I love it ,and doesn't give me headaches.
Loved this video ,new dupes I haven't seen before ❤️
Hope you don’t get a headache anytime soon Christy I battle migraines often so I know how annoying that is
My best confidence boost is my eye lash curler. My natural eyelashes are black. The moment I curl my eyelashes I feel good
Great video! Thank you to all who contributed these fabulous finds! My #1 confidence booster is a great mascara that gives me length and volume and staying power throughout the day. So far, Thrive cosmetics is my favorite but I really need a less expensive option at this point in my budgeting life. ☺️So I am on the research hunt!
I really love this series of videos!! 😊
I love a good lipstick for a confidence boost. My absolute favorite is Milani's Matte Beauty. It's kind of a red tone lipstick, but it's not a bright red that I can't seem to pull off for some reason. It's perfect for fall and any other time too!
Glitter makes me feel so dainty and ethereal and fairy like
